Great job on my pesky Jaguar air conditioner! It works better than ever and, although these foreign cars are expensive to get parts for, the cost was less than I thought it would be!
I was referred to Auto research and met the owner Pat about six months ago when I was looking to have some work done on my 1967 396 Chevelle SS. Pat has been working with me ever since on upgrading and making this the bad ass car it is. Since then I purchased a 2017 Mercedes AMG and Took it over to Pat to have him go over the whole thing for me. Do an oil change and check for brakes and safety features. Pat and his staff are very thorough and I feel safe driving any car that they go over or work on for me. It’s so refreshing to not only find a local multifaceted mechanic, but an honest one as well. This guy can work on anything and we have become fast friends.
I have used the services of Pat's car repair shop for 26 years. I have never been disappointed with the results, his crew is outstanding. You can depend on them to get you back on the road quickly.
I have been going there for 25 years and wouldn't trust anyone else to handle my vehicles. Pat is honest and won't try to sell you things you don't need! Even if I didn't live in Fountain Hills, I would make the trip there. Highly recommend.
I have a frustrating issue with my new Borla fuil injection on my 70 Chevelle, but I am confident that Pat's skills, determination and patience will sort it out. They really know today's technology.I rate them very highly.
We'd been having issues with the a/c in our Tahoe. Last month they replaced the condenser and it was fine until it wasn't. This month we had the whole thing replaced and since the condenser was brand new, Pat warrantied it out and replaced it with everything else at no charge. I know a lot of shops that wouldn't have said a word and charged us for it since it had to be replaced with everything else. We will continue to bring out cars here, no question about it.
They drove my car, trying to get it to act up, and couldn't. Charged me a 100. A day later, all the lights came back on. Check coolant level. Check oil, etc. Engine overheating. I broke down in front of a Cobblestone. They did oil change and coolant flush. Problem fixed. It's been a while and non of the lights have come back on.
I took my older car here a few months ago to have my air conditioning repaired. Hugh and the tech(s) who worked on my car did an amazing job diagnosing the problem and communicating with me as the repair progressed, and three months now into the hot season, my ac is running like a champ. My car was previously damaged in a collision, so the initial replacement of just the ac condenser evolved into needing to do the whole compressor, but the price for the work completed was more than fair, and nothing was done without my approval and with a detailed explanation of what was going on. I have been looking for a shop that I can trust, and this is it.
This place has never let me down - an auto repare shop that you can trust! I will not take my cars to any other location. They are always on top of it and have great customer service.
Love Pat and Hugh. My car always runs better after they have worked on it, even to the point of better gas mileage. They always do their best, they give you a heads-up when there's additional work to be done in the future, they do not upsell, they fix any mistakes and do not charge for the rework. Honest, ethical, knowledgeable, great people.
