I went in to get a new battery today. I walk with a walking stick and have a difficult time carrying heavy objects. They were kind enough to carry my old one in for me and my new one out. The customer service was exceptional. Ted Jerred
I have purchased 4 starters, 3 for a Chevy, and one for a Toyota, all 4 turned out to be defective, it has cost me
more than $1000 in mechanic labor, and Advanced Auto refused to cover any costs for the defective parts. Then, Advanced Auto wouldn't refund the original purchase.
Pure ripoff.
Not like Americans don't have enough problems, we are paying for garbage at Advanced Auto, and it's draining our society...
2 days in a row they told me the part I needed would be there the next day.
2 days in a row they said they would call me.
2 days in a row I got neither a call nor a part.
Terrible experience. Not only did they not give me my refund for a part I did not even open. The level of attitude was unreal. Worst place to get parts. Better off ordering online than going there.
With the exception of a part that was substituted for what I needed, that I couldn't use, and the screw up was not the stores fault, the engine kit has been spot on. You guys have been awesome.
A couple of months ago, I had an alternator go bad. They couldn't find the record of my purchase, but since the part number matched their inventory, they replaced the alternator for free. Used to use O'Reilly auto parts exclusively, but I won't go anywhere except advance auto now, if I can help. They're great to work with.
As it turns out even though it's a nice auto store, it's fate is linked to an inexperienced manager that unfortunately has allowed a couple of rotten apples to do nefarious and borderline illegal things behind the scene. Which is sad because at one Point the game must end and all those not involved will suffer along with those that had it coming.. what a waste of a genuinely good place to shop for quality parts...
One star is unworthy simple fact is the short guy with long hair did not provide any help at all I don't know vehicles well, him working there you'd assume he does and could at least provide me answers long story short I left there an unhappy customer but glad I didnt spend money and I live locally so going there again isn't happening. If you want to have a good experience don't go here.
We were driving across the country when we had an issue with a bad fuse for our solar panels on our camper/travel van. The woman at the store was very helpful (I failed to get her name) , and went out her of her way to help as this was a hard to find item. The store had this fuse, and she was kind enough to lend me tools that I could replace this and didn’t present a bigger problem for us going forward. Thank you so much! Also, we are finding out that folks out in this part of the country are very friendly!
Don’t waste your time shopping at your “local” Advance Auto Parts. Bought a magnetic vehicle heater that malfunctioned and burned and melted the whole housing; they don’t stand by their products they sell and pointed me to their return policy taped to the countertop instead of refunding me the item or even taking to me like a human being. Hopefully these thieves go out of business. I can understand if there was nothing wrong with the product but it’s clearly melted and defective. Don’t give these thieves your money. PLEASE.
This place is the only auto store I could get to answer their phone and help me figure out price and correct part. I was going to go to o Reilly because they’re cheaper but I’d rather pay more for quality parts and quality staff. They were very friendly and willing to help me. I wish I could remember the gentleman’s name who check me out at the register but Debee was awesome and so was he! They both deserve a raise.
Went to Advance Auto Parts to get de- icer. The staff there greeted me with a good morning and a friendly smile. They had exactly what I needed. This is why I come back....
Awesome place especially since they knowingly sell products that don't have warranties and when they break on you after 30 minutes after buying them they refuse to exchange them or do any type of return and the best part is they don't let you know that these parts have no warranties and they're not willing to do any returns when you buy them I just bought snow change from them for $100 they broke within 3 hours of buying them and I got told I'm Sol maybe I should have bought them from somewhere else
No help from staff they don't even knowledge you when standing at the counter until they are done with the conversation they are having with fellow employees
Place is honestly a joke everytine I order a part they tell me it should be here one day then it's always still not here try again tomorrow or the next then a week goes by and still not here.
