This shop has definitely changed with new ownership. I shopped around for quotes and was given the lowest quote from them until dropping the vehicle off to them. My car needed a power steering pump. Their quote was 375 including labor after having a car for three days I was called back and given a quote of 505 supposedly the hoses were hooked up incorrectly, but no new hoses were needed after having a car from Friday until Tuesday. I was given a call to come and pick the car up the power steering pump had been replaced and my bill was $535. I shopped around town and found another auto repair shop. They gave me much lower quotes than Felix auto. I spoke with the lady at the desk and asked who was in charge and I was given a response: Oh just me and the guys. I told her I had a problem with the pricing and she says oh well. I’ll never use this shop again for anything folks, please be mindful that there are dozens of shops around town that do better work than Felix auto and that will discuss and negotiate pricings. Maybe it’s just me or maybe they think that I’ve got a lot of tax money which I do not I do not recommend this shop. Pay close attention to the invoice preferably the labor time, 3.3 hours to replace A power steering pump and to rearrange the hoses? $340 for labor is highway robbery. Basically, they’re saying it took 3.3 hours to disconnect two bolts and two hoses and reconnect. I’m a local chef and I have a lot of friends here in town, best believe I will spread the word.
Wendy (front desk lady) was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. Based off other previous reviews, looks like lots of people have had the same issues with her as well. I had to get my car towed here (which I will note that the man who towed my car was extremely nice and very helpful). When I arrived she told me that my car wouldn’t be looked at until the next day. Once the next day came i received no updates so I called myself. Wendy proceeded to tell me that my car wouldn’t be looked at until the day after and that they can’t just clear all their appointments for someone who just got towed. She said it in a very snippy/irritated tone. If she would’ve told me they had a booked schedule that day I would’ve considered having it taken somewhere else. I ended up getting it towed somewhere else and within 10 minutes of getting it there just found out it was a bad battery. Her customer service skills were not at all up to par and I will not be a returning customer ?
I always wait to write a review until I have had multiple experiences. It's half way thru winter and I have had no issues with my new tires, either getting low or leaking. At tires plus the last 2 times I had issues. Their prices are unbeatable for the time it takes to get your car fixed. I would recommend felix to anyone, if you have time to wait Kenny's on main st. In Oshkosh is pretty great too.
Dan helped me out this past Saturday night with towing my vehicle off of Hwy 41 in a snow storm. I was about an hour from home and he made sure my vehicle stayed in his lot until I could get AAA to tow it from Oshkosh down to the body shop by my house. He also offered to drop me at a location closer so my dad didn't have to drive as far in the snow storm to pick me up.
He was very friendly and quick to arrive to my location. The next day I called to let him know I was on my way, and he made sure he was at the office to help me get my vehicle.
Have dealt with techs, drivers, management, and the owner on multiple occasions. Have nothing but great experiences. From the automotive side, to towing they are very professional, fast, and fair!
Today had to have a car towed off our lot. The friendly guys over at Felix were here with a smile within 15 min. If your looking for a no nonsense towing company or repair shop... This is your stop! Can not recommend them enough!

Excellent service, very knowledgeable, and honest assessment and pricing. Starts with the friendly voice of Wendy at the front desk making room in the schedule for unplanned repairs, and keeping track of multiple family vehicles. The owner Eric will field odd car questions, and can handle unusual custom requests for welding/repairs. Ive never had a bad experience nor a grumpy employee!! 5 stars!!

I have never experienced a situation like my family did today as we toured The Annex in Oshkosh. We were looking for student housing for our son for college. We drove into the lot at 1pm on a Friday afternoon and the lot was only 25% full at best. New to the area and LOTS of parking!! After our 30 minute tour we come down to see our vehicle being towed away. We were able to stop the very disrespectful driver (Dan) and his helper. We were told $50 cash to drop the truck now or $125 at the tow trucks place of business. What a scam!!!! 30 minute tour and from Felix’s to The Annex is 9 minutes. Watch out Oshkosh….clearly they are stooping low to make money. Yes, we did advise Annex management too who could simply apologize. Unbelievable!! Thanks for the life lesson in unkindness for our children.

While we do appreciate your response, the information you have provided is not accurate. At the onset of the tour, one of our very first questions, that we initiated to our tour guide, was where we should park as we did not see visitor parking. We advised her of where our vehicle was currently parked and she told us that next time we should park out on the street. At no time were we told to move our vehicle, or that our vehicle could potentially be towed.
I appreciate you clarifying your process, and if you secured this information from The Annex, I will be following up with their management promptly.
I highly recommend Felix Auto!! I came to town for a conference and had a problem with my car while here. The VW dealer couldn't get me in for over a week, so I started Google searching. The first 2 places I called didn't answer their phone. When I called Felix they were super pleasant on the phone and got me an appointment within a few hours! Fortunately, the repair was minor and the mechanic was awesome (they didn't try to take advantage of my limited knowledge or upsell me). And best of all, the cost was WAY less than what my dealer would have charged me! Wish I lived closer so I could continue to use them!!
Went in to have my car looked over and honestly it could not have gone better- The front desk lady (Wendy?) was beyond helpful and friendly. The guys (techs?) were friendly too-All if my questions were answered -will definitely be going back when I need service or will call them if I need a tow. Thanks again!!!!
I'd like to thank Felix's Auto and Tire. They saved me from a potentially fatal accident. Apparently my ball joints were so bad that at any given moment, I would have been in a dangerous wreck.
Not only did they get my truck in a timely matter but also SAVED me 3K in repair costs that a certain dealership was trying to say it would take to fix the issues. Plus I got my work truck back in just a few short days.
Here's a bonus... the lady working the front desk is AWESOME. She was polite, precise and extremely knowledgeable.
If anyone needs repairs done in a professional manner, I'd 100% Felix's Auto and Tire.
I asked the front desk lady if I could wait in the the waiting room and said “well it’s a drop off soooo you’ll drop it off and come back later.” The mechanic mumbled “dumb”at me after she finished. They have a whole waiting room and proceeded to not let me stay and said come back for my car later. I sat outside under a tree at their establishment for three hours. When I came back in the lady was still being a asshat and had attitude. Ridiculous. Rude and unprofessional. Trash workers.

Great customer service! My brakes were leaking fluid and Eric made sure to get me in asap. So i dropped my car off after work at 10pm and he had it done before I even woke up the next day! This is my second time coming here and will definitely make this my go to! Thanks for your awesome service guys!
We have been using Eric and his crew right after he started his business. All I can say is that they do a great job in all aspects of auto repairs. We have a small fleet of vans and trucks for our business and they always accommodate our time constrains. He knows our team work out of these vehicles and we need them on the road. His team is very knowledgeable and his prices reflect the outstanding service they provide. They will have all our auto work, business and personnel.
They do great work and the people are awesome! Felix Auto has been maintaining both of my vehicles for years - '14 Dart and '19 Forester. I gladly drive from Appleton and have no regrets.
I called other named towing companies and they wanted to charge $75 to open my car door. Felix came over in less than 15 mins and had my car door opened in less than 3 minutes. Justin was a wonderful, caring person who came back and charged my battery because I left my key in the ignition. (?) Thank you so much Justin and Felix Auto and Tire. ❤️
These guys are great! The place in town I was able to make it to as my car was slowly dieing ran diagnostics and wanted $550 to replace my alternator. Don't get me wrong the customer service there was great as well and they were very accomodating helping me get where I needed to be but I thought that was a bit high so I called these guys and even with a tow to their shop plus parts and labor it still saved me almost $200 and they got my car over there around 2 and it was done by 4 and I was able to get it after work and with not living in the area that was a life saver. Highly recommend!
Eric was great. Had an emergency exhaust issue. Last minute and quick. Eric is very kind and generous. My family and friends will know Felix repair! You have great karma and your generosity will go a long way. Highly recommended. Thank you again Eric !
The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, and the two guys I met were both nice and professional. Felix Auto had some great prices on new tires, so that's what I did. I didn't have to wait long, and the waiting area is small but cozy, and everyone was pleasant. Thanks Felix Auto!
