If I could rate the customer service zero stars I would I called just to get a price quote on some headlight casings not knowing that Fox valley iron and metal didn't do headlight casings or vehicles and the guy that I talked to cut me off before I could even finish saying what I was going to say I do not recommend calling if you have any questions for anything.
100 pounds of metal and we got $7. I guess it’s better than paying 20$ to dump but then again 1 trip to dump verses 2 stops probably would have been better .
Wasn't good, came in with quite a bit of aluminum with some mixed steel scrap with some copper motors and windings. Paid me 7.5 cents a pound. Seriously, 7.5 cents a pound for aluminum, steel, and copper? Avoid like the plague.
The crew is about as rough as the material they work with, but they're good at what they do.
They have a giant magnet to take material off your trailer easily. It's awesome to watch.
Make sure your materials are organized to the best of your knowledge before pulling up to the door. They'll have a cow if it isn't.

Do NOT take catalytic converters here!! They will rob you blind!! Get the number off the cat/cats, and call a core buyer. Marketplace has several, otherwise online. They told me price for what I had was $175. Core buyer gave me $850.
I had to dispose of a dehumidifier, no wait, set it off by shop door as told to do, no charge. I would recommend this place.
I read on their sign that they don't take TV's or tires. They buy aluminum cans also. My first time there and would use their service again.
Went in on a last Saturday to pick up a back glass for a car saw they had a Fiero asked how much the cables were the guy at the counter said 10 each so I went back today and took them out for them to the counter and the guy says that will be 50 for them. I reminded him of the price I was quoted and was told he never said that and it's a take it or leave it deal. Don't expect honesty when dealing with thus company I would have to say get it in writing first so you don't waste your time taking off a part just to find out it went up in price. Bye the way they don't give receipts for cash purchases so it ethier went inhis pocket or they dont pay taxes on the money either way I'm sure there is something crooked with this company. Will never recommend or go there again.
