Joe is fair, polite, friendly and knowledgeable about growing vegetables. I highly recommend doing business with him. He'll put cash in your hand and a smile on your face.
They take most metals, aluminum/cans, farm machinery, copper, buy broken down cars for scrap metal prices. I brought a few there over the years. I have gotten lots of used tires/rims. I have found a few misc. car parts. I also find things for DIY projects or things that just need cleaning to be used as decor like old windows and chicken wire, old farm tools, oil cans, bicycles for repurposing, gates and more.
They also sell firewood year round and vegetables in the summer.
Will never buy from or sell to Joe's Recycling! Nor will I EVER recommend Joe's Recycling to anyone I know! I went to look at their selection yesterday and today went back with my mother to look at the vehicle I thought suited her best. When we got there my mother went to ask if anyone had a key so she could test drive it. The older man proceeded to FLIRT with my mother. After she got the keys, and when she started it she asked about a small humming noise she heard, the older man then demanded she shut the vehicle off and give him the keys. He said his son would NOT sell her a vehicle. He told her it was "no way to start a relationship". I find it EXTREMELY non-professional and RUDE! We will find a better deal and will NEVER tell anyone to buy or sell to them.
