I have been nothing but happy with the service I got at Auto Truck and Equipment. I have had my personal and my business vehicles serviced here many times. I have had various equipment hauled by them also. It is always great to work with Gordy and Amanda!
I had some concerns with my car that needed to be looked at and they squeezed me in within the week. I highly recommend if you’re looking for an honest opinion and genuine people.
This guy gives out death trap cars as loaners, then blames you when something goes wrong with it. He will loudly talk bad about everyone behind their back, and will even scream and cuss out a mom in front of her young child. The new ladies in the office are subpar and have no clue how to communicate. My car sat there for four days “done” with no one telling me, I had to call and ask. And when I did, they said “we took a look, there’s nothing wrong with it” except..I asked for my ac to be recharged, tire sensor issue to be looked at and my bushings to be looked at. All they did was look at bushings and said they were fine. (They were not fine, he didn’t want to do it-I have since gone elsewhere, was shown how bad the bushings were, had them replaced and problem solved.) They said they didn’t know about the other things I asked to be done or that I was even bringing my car in and taking a loaner!!! When I, in fact, set this all up days prior with the, apparently incompetent, receptionist. I could keep going but I’m running out of space.
NOTE: he will come back and take no responsibility, come up with lies for excuses and even try to say I’m not a real customer. Lol. I was going to him for nearly 15 years until this last experience. Unreal.
My husband steve and i have been using Gordon for something along the lines of 8 years acorss multiple vehicles (he is taking care of my chevy malibu now). Gordon does great work at fair prices. We have been going to him for years and he has never done us wrong. He is honest about what needs addressing and is willing to work with you on helping you to decide what to prioritize. No pushing unnecessary repairs here, working with him is a breath of fresh air!
The way ive heard the Owner Gordi over the phone when i went into a auto part store it is not professional he cussed at the employee and he considers himself professional. . I think not

Still finding things they didn’t repair but charged for on our vehicle. When they lost their good mechanics and gal in the office I should have run from there. They USED to be a great shop. Gordon lied right to our face about what they did. Unless you’re getting an oil change, go somewhere else.
Bought tires from tirebuyer and have them shipped here. Vehicle was dropped off and picked up later. While driving home there was a bad vibration. Called and said to bring it back. They said they couldn't get the one tire balanced and probably a bad tire. Then why wasn't that relayed first of all. They finally got it balanced over 3 hours spent from drop off to when it was done. Well today i checked my tire pressure. Max tire pressure on my tires say 50 pounds right on the tires. My tires where over 60 pounds and two 65 and two 60. Obviously the max is just a suggestion. I will unfortunately pay more next time to take to a true professional. I will never bring my business back here again.
Doesn't actually fix vehicles. Puts old used parts from other vehicles on your vehicle. Puts old fluids from other vehicles in your vehicle and charges you full price for brand new fluids.
Brought my Ford Expedition there after another shop told me I needed a new engine. A&TR looked at it for free and determined it was a sensor and solenoid issue, no engine replacement needed. Cost of their repair was as much as the other shop charged for their evaluation of the problem. A&TR will be getting all of my future maintenance and repair business from here out. They've also stood by the van that we bought from them 18 months ago.
I was stranded on Hwy. 29 at 5:00 on a Friday. They arranged for a tow truck to haul my boat and trailer to their shop, after hours. The staff worked hard to find the parts I needed, and completed the job fairly and of high quality!
Wow, these guys are amazing at customer service and fixing vehicles. I am so grateful for auto truck equipment repair. I am from out of town and broke down on HWY 29. It was a Saturday morning so I called around a bunch of auto shops. Most I got no answer the ones that did answer were too busy. These guys went out of their way to make time in their morning to fix my vehicle even to the point of being late for a birthday party that afternoon. They were able to diagnose it, fix it, and got me on the road again in 2 hours. Best of all, they were more than reasonable in fixing it. I was so gateful that morning to find not only a great mechanic but all around good people willing to go out of their way to help others in need! Thank you!
