Today my alternator broke while i was on my way home. It was Edward and Mark who were just driving by, saw me at the side of the road, and stopped to help, I never called them. I dont have any experience in cars and had no idea what to do or where to start; These guys helped me diagnose, aquire, and Mark even installed the part I needed, even though it turned out to be very frustrating. They went above and beyond expectations for a towing company and a great first experience with one.
Silveback towing was absolutely amazing & came through tonight for me after a very long day of failed towing companies.
I left my doctor's appointment on a day where it was -7 degrees & couldn't get my SUV to start. Tried getting a tow through my insurance, but every provider said their tow trucks were too big & couldn't fit in the lot. The only place my insurance company could find with a small enough tower said I had to wait 2 days.
I decided to call around & see who I could find on my own. Called a few places & they either didn't have the equipment or were charging after hour prices. I called Silverback towing & they had great pricing & the driver was there in less then 30mins.
He was pleasant, accommodating & the experience was seemless. I would recommend them any day.
Horrible communication, bad business…probably should be a little more up front and keep it real with people instead of dragging them on with times… lousy service
I have used this service for about two years now. The prices are reasonable and they are really good at getting things done. They are very friendly and helpful. To me, they give the best service in Kenosha, WI
If you need a tow call this place! Very fair prices, and amazing customer service! Had my starter go out stopping in Kenosha while just passing through. With minimal tools I was struggling to get the new starter in and contacted them about possibly needing a tow.
Leonard came by to see if he could lend a hand, and be on standby for the tow if I needed it. Leonard was very professional and ready to help in any way he could, and all FREE OF CHARGE!(Unless it came down to the tow of course) Not many people left in the world willing to lend a hand or their time out of the kindness of their hearts, without expecting to be compensated, I highly recommend Silverback towing!
Super helpful with great prices! My wife and her coworker had a tire pop this afternoon. Silverback Towing brought them to a tire place who couldn’t schedule them. For no extra charge, the driver put the donut on and got them back on the road while I was down in Waukegan. Highly recommended.
This company is highly UNPROFESSIONAL and began using vulgar language at me. Not only did they tow my vehicle from my complex illegal but charged me $300 and lied and told me I was unable to get my vehicle due to the towing agent being in Chicago. Beyond ridiculous! I have proof of our phone x conversations and thank you I recorded them!
Silverback Towing is AMAZING! My truck break lines had completely carotid and tore apart just before Christmas and so my truck just sat in my driveway for nearly 3 months until I could afford to take it to a shop to get fixed. Leonard was absolutely WONDERFUL, punctual, great communication, kind and made a stressful time very easy to handle. He worked with me to schedule a time to pick up my truck that worked for both me and the shop. I could not find anywhere is town that was as cheap and affordable as them PLUS the respect, courtesy and care he provided to not only me, but my truck that I absolutely love. I 100% recommend using Silverback for any of your towing needs.

He towed my car for about 30-35miles and did an excellent job, took extremely well care of it and everything was done with caution, he documented the entire process, took pictures and videos before and after, even choose to wait for 2 hours at the drop off location to make sure I get to my vehicle safely (the 3rd party that booked the ride was not the greatest) and make sure everything looks good!
12 below 0 in the middle of the night & this guy had smile on his face and was very kind! He made sure I stayed inside of a warm vehicle while he took care of everything!
Jokes on me, I drive a BMW and love it a lot, despite all, so if you love your car, take my word and call this guy if needed!
I am 81 years old...and had a flat. I didn't even know where the spare was in my car, let alone have the ability to change a tire..AAA said my wait would be 2 hours..I got Silverback's name and numberfrom the very nice people at Great America Tire. Leonard was there in about 20 minutes. He was so kind and dug out my 14 tear old spare..gave me advice on my tires..it was dry rot..I need to replace them..he spent a good 45 minutes with us...and his rate was very reasonable!!! I Would recommend them in a heartbeat...and I'm FUSSY!😊

Driving home front Union Grove at 6pm and supercharger pulley failed , threw the belt. Called a few 24 hour Towing Companies that were CLOSED.... Silverback was next on the list, Leonard gave me a fair price, was on scene in 30 minutes. We was extremely thoughtful and careful with my car, I was very appreciative of the care and cautious nature he took in loading my car. Hopefully, I don't need him again, if I do... Silverback is my first call. Thanks again.
Company was called out by Audi roadside assistance which covers the payment of the tow. But a half hour later the tow truck driver calls asking for more money and our insurance information . I tell them that the SUV is covered by Audi roadside assistance but the driver says it is not enough money. I call Audi to make sure that the tow is covered and they say yes. The tow truck driver then impounds our suv illegally since the tow is already paid for. After calling Audi and the police the SUV was finally towed to the dealership after 14 hours of dealing with silverbacks’s nonsense. To top it off we were right and it was towed at no cost us because it was covered. So the driver just illegally impounded our suv for no reason other than wanting extra money. I would never recommend this company to anyone they are not reputable company.
I was driving home after seeing a late movie when one of my tires detached due to the lug nuts falling off. He was the only 24 hour towing company to answer my call at 2 in the morning. Leonard had me call his partner to see if he was available and when his partner didn’t pick up the phone, he offered to come help immediately. He was very polite and professional and went above and beyond by taking a couple lug nuts off the other tires and placing them on the tire that detached so I could drive my car to the mechanics instead of paying for another towing service.
Eddie at Silverback towing was awesome to work with. He was extremely professional, hard working and had excellent communication skills. He towed a custom tool box that had to be scheduled in advanced and showed up early ready to go. Highly recommend and I appreciate his efforts. Also he was able to do all of this while it was snowing and slick conditions with no issues
My wheel fell off my car while I was driving with my Dog in it. I called silverback Towing he was there with full support didn’t mind my dog being in the tow truck. very professional, then I locked the keys to my house with my car keys in the car shop drop box and he was patient enough to figure out how we’re going to get them out. we got them out luckily from a near by neighbor knowing the owners, after he gave me a ride home that day was horrible! days before my birthday too but with the help of this guy made it better definitely I highly recommend Silverback Towing.
They charged my handicapped son $300 for towing his friend who was helping him move a piece of furniture. Leonard was very unprofessional and unsympathetic to our situation. The car was there for no more than 15 minutes while they went inside to get the dresser. I explained the situation to the tow man and he would not discount the price on bit. My son is a wonderful person who cares for Alzheimer’s patients and makes $15 an hour! This towing company is the most unkind company I have ever dealt with. Don’t use them. Unfair and way overpriced! Leonard was a real jerk when I explained the situation to him. Did not care one bit. So unkind.
I was very happy with this towing service. They showed up right when they said they would and picked up my car in just a matter of minutes. They also charge half the price of the last towing company I used. I'm definitely using them the next time I need a tow.

Car wouldn’t start due to an electronic module failure. Called Jensen Towing first, and they cancelled after they seen my car was sitting low to the ground. Silverback Towing came through for me no problem! Not only did they respond quickly, they towed from Kenosha to IL. Highly recommend
This tow service was great. My car was stranded in a busy intersection so I needed somebody quick. Leonard was excellent. He gave me an eta of 35 min and got there within 30. He was very easy to work with and was able to make a terrible situation into a problem solved. If you’re looking for a friendly, reliable, efficient tow service in a time of need. No other shops were willing answer the phone after 7:30, but Silverback took the call. Very friendly and knowledgeable driver, that took care of my truck like it was owned by family. A++++.
