I recently purchased windshield wipers in your Stoughton store and Kai was extremely helpful and kind. He installed them quickly and carried on a great conversation the whole time. I returned today needing a new battery and was pleasantly greeted by Kai again. He installed my new battery quickly and again was super kind and respectful. Management please take note when it comes time for his review. We need more Kai's in retail sales!
I was never greeted, due to employees were on their phones. And then, to top it all off, they couldn't even help me with my wiper warranty because they said their system has not been working for over a month! The only good thing is that the app was great for looking up parts. I will not be going back on a Saturday, again!
Kristina A. was absolutely astonishing with not only her customer service but with her overall attitude, and knowledge. Management TAKE NOTICE. She deserves much more than a raise. Promote her!! She will go far with the company if she so chooses.
Called about a starter. Guy said it was there. I drove to pick it up only to find out it wasn't there and there wasn't one. Only response "Inventory must've been wrong"
Waste of my time.
The only thing I could complain about is the the lack of experience in knowing car parts I shouldn't have to do it for them and I always have to get parts order in and never there on day they said would be ill start spending my money somewhere else
Pretty pushy to get you to buy the premium parts. Argued with me and wouldn't take no for an answer. I think I will go to a place that has me look up my own parts in the future.
Absolutely great staff, they were very helpful and wouldn’t let us sit and struggle. The manager really told us what to do to get everything going again. Highly recommend this place just because of the staff
Good stuff but prices are getting out of control. I can buy the same brand at cheaper prices by just going down the street to a big box store. I don't want to do it, but I spent $15-$20 more at your store. I won't do it again. I can't afford it.
Add on: Hey I got an answer back from the owner and I'm very impressed with what he replied, as a matter of fact I'm going to bump up his rating to 5 stars. It was not meant to be a knock in his staff, who were excellent, store, which was full of products I think I need, or cleanliness, it was immaculate. It was more out of concern for his competitors, I realize he can only control his store, so giving him a 4 star was not fair. He gave me a few ideas to make his store competitive and he is right. I think we should all be aware of the big chains, because they do not offer the care and attention his staff did. Nor do they offer the selection. I'm sorry, I judged too quickly, and as of now, I highly recommend this store.
Quick back story - almost 2 weeks ago, my van had a few sluggish starts. I took it to a few places to have the battery tested and all said the battery was fine. Fast forward to yesterday (a Sunday 2/5) and it won't start. It won't even turn over. After jumping the it, I went to Advance Auto in Stoughton. I walked in and explained I needed a new battery and need to have it installed. The man working was extremely helpful and kind. He showed me battery options (and didn't try to sway me to the most expensive) and replaced my battery quickly. Being a female it can be intimidating going in to get your car fixed, but it was the complete opposite experience here. I can't recommend this place enough!
Purchased a light bulb and asked for guidance to place it in (we've done this before in past, same place but diff location no problem at all) recieved attitude and excuses as to why they couldn't.
Tried to order a battery online so I could go pick it up at this store. First online price was 84$. I called the store to make sure they had the battery in stock at the store before I drove to the store. The man I spoke to said there were NINE, that's NINE, {9} of them there at the store. The website said I can order it online and can pick it up at the store. I told him I would be in to pick one up in 45 minutes. Then I tried to order it online, but I couldn't pay for it online, until I signed into "my account". I signed in. SHAZAM! The price went up 20 dollars!! (no it wasn't the "core" thing} So I called the store and the first employee sensed danger and handed me over to another for the mandatory on hold, and here comes the rub. First of course, he had trouble on the computer, then its to "on hold please" (another customer...yeah sure, but ok} ...again on hold ...on hold...finally..but wait theres more...he had trouble finding the item for like a minute, even with the advance auto parts product number and description I provided. I offered to bring in a picture of their website page with the 84 dollars etc taxes on it, and would he honor that. The answer was yes, but wait theres more! NOW he doesn't have any of those previuos NINE batteries in the store. I guess they sold them all in ten minutes! SHAZAM #2 !! So I was right back where I started. Lesson= the website is a bait and switch up sell con. Probably the industries standard,, and obviously, the senior/ experienced sales people are instructed to twist and up sell. If that doesn't work, inconvenience the customer until he/she goes away. Well Mission Statement accomplished! So now you know how they do business. If they fool you using this bait and switch scam, well that's on you.

We bought a battery here, and the enployee carried it out to our car for us, (without us even asking!) Very nice!
Love their warranties on most of their product. They offer a military/veteran discount as well.
i bought 29 inch wiper blades.
friendly staff. manager on site. a bit pricey for some things, but the employees are very helpful. Brian? in particular was lovely. he helped me find the right blade, and install it.
