Walked into O’Reilly Auto Parts on a mission: find what my VW GTI needed before it decided to express its feelings through another dashboard warning light. If you own a German car, you know it doesn’t break. It simply “requests attention” in a firm, efficient tone. Very German. No emotion. Just a light that says, “You vill address zis immediately.” The team at O’Reilly handled it like pros. I explained what my GTI was doing (which sounded dramatic, because it is), and they didn’t even flinch. No eye rolls. No “ah yes, German engineering.” Just helpful advice, quick part lookup, and solid recommendations. They found exactly what I needed, double-checked fitment, and made sure I wasn’t about to install something that would anger the Volkswagen gods. Efficiency. Precision. Almost Bavarian-level attention to detail. I respect it. Installed the part, cleared the code, and my GTI is back to being fast, refined, and slightly judgmental. If you’ve got a German car that occasionally reminds you who’s in charge, O’Reilly is a solid place to get back in its good graces. 10/10 would return before my next “scheduled emotional expression” from the dashboard. ???

Amazing and caring service from a man whose name we do not remember, but his exceptional help won’t be forgotten. We bought some spark plugs and tools and he helped us all the time and gave us advice. Will totally go back for any needs in the future.

I went in during a snow storm because my 4 year old decided to hang from my windshield wiper and snapped it right off and I couldnt see out the window. I had no idea how to fix it and the worker here walked right out and fixed it in 5 minutes for me and was so kind. I would come back here anytime because they didn't make me feel bad for not knowing and were willing to walk out in the snow to help me. Five stars. Midwest nice. Highly recommend.

I’m an amateur who likes to perform basic maintenance on his own car. Some projects are easy and some more challenging. O’Reilly has yet to let me down when looking for anything I need. Friendly staff who is very helpful in finding what I need. Dave specifically has helped me by offering a few opinions when I’m stuck, as well as helping me with options on parts that fit within my budget. They’re even willing to help over the phone to make my trip into the store as efficient as possible. I’m happy this store is in town and at readily available to help.

Came in asking about different sized fuel lines and the associate helping us gladly showed us 4 different diameters until we found the correct one and cut it to size. 10/10 customer service

I'm an experienced automotive person so going to a part store is fairly easy for me. This particular trip I had no trouble finding what I needed. It was rung up and processed quickly and they asked me if I needed a funnel which was nice. I might have given five stars if I had needed more help and they provided it.

I needed a new battery, but never installed one before. They helped me get it in and replaced the connector. They were very accomdating!

The manager Johnny working was Fabulous to work with very professional. I have a hard part to find I came to him with a part number and he was able to locate and order me what I needed. In addition Dave has been very helpful in the past as well with my car and helping fi d the rare parts I'm looking for.

Had a not so good experience charging a battery in a different location…… came to Stoughton and Lucas gave us a completely different experience! In and out and follow up was amazing! Thank you Lucas.

Lazy employees. Stood around in the store for 20 minutes waiting for someone to tel me if my rotors could be resurfaced. Was then told they’d be done the next day. They’ve had more than 25 hours to do them and I called and was told “they were never flipped”. So here I am. About to Uber everywhere for a second day because of their incompetence. Can’t believe I’m still going to have to pay them. What a joke

The best experience!! My car battery did not like the fall weather.. so had to get a new one.. the awesome assistant manager took care of me!! And she honored the online sake and installed it !! Thanks!!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would...we bought wiper blades from them in November 2021 and the technician couldn't or wouldn't install them, he said he didn't know how but I suspect that because it was below 0 he just didn't want to stand outside and freeze...so we took them next door to their competitor and they installed them for us...about 2 months go by and the drivers side wiper starts falling apart, so we bring it back sometime in January 2022, the same technician from November gave us a new blade and then magically was able to install the new one ? A few weeks later and we flip the wipers up at night so they won't freeze to the windshield and the thing comes off the mount and cracks the windshield so hard the wiper breaks...so we bring it back again and tell them at this point we want our money back because we have had nothing but problems and we bought a different brand and they are 10x better (and they were cheaper) the lady refuses to give us our money back because it's past the warranty period, which ended in December. To which, I point out we have been having problems with them the whole time and they exchanged them for us in January past the warranty period, she still refuses to take them back. So we leave and a few days later I call corporate and explain the situation, the representative puts me on hold and calls the store...he comes back and confirms everything I told him was correct but they are not going to refund our money because the original warranty period expired in December. Again I point out we have had problems the whole time and they have given us a replacement in January past the original warranty expiring, still won't give us a refund. DO NOT buy anything from this company! They don't stand behind the products they put on their shelves. Sorry, but I work hard for my money and I expect to get the service and product I actually paid for. Also warranty or no warranty, a product shouldn't be falling apart 2 months after buying it.

Helpful employees they really took their time figuring out my fuse problem still has to re run things but he helped me figure out it's easier n faster to just thread new wire from the fuse box then trace all that bull down

Stopped by looking for paint, 2 clerks said aisle 5, I looked, after 10 minutes of listening to their conversation from their back area about their relationships- I left. Went next door, clerk helped me find what I needed, asked if I needed anything from else. I’m no longer an O’Reilly customer.

I called this morning to ensure a battery was in stock and that I could have it installed as I was out of town for work and my wife's car was acting up. The gentleman I spoke with this morning said they could install it for her in my absence. It is a cold miserable Wisconsin Winter Day. Upon her arrival to get her battery replaced, the person who originally helped her said he couldn't install it because it was too cold. I get it was cold for sure but it was much colder this morning when I called to confirm they could do it. It's a quick 4 bolts and kind of an emergency on a Sunday. She was not happy and left. I got a text from her and told her to head back. Eric answered when I called the store and explained they try not to make the guys go outside when it's this cold but understanding my wife's situation, dying battery being brutalized by the cold, he said he'd get her taken care of. About 10 minutes later I get her text saying they got her all hooked up and now she won't have to carry that heavy jump pack 1 day longer. I appreciate you guys looking out for my loved one and I am a firm believer that doing things for random strangers when you can only helps our world become a better place. I try to help people when I can as well and it's my hopes that what I put out there comes back to myself or my family when we need help ourselves. Thank you Eric for being there when I couldn't be. That's a trait of an excellent person and I thank you for being such.

I have had several experiences with this location and have been extremely pleased with the service I have received. Eric is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. The other staff has been helpful as well.

came to this store to get new windshield wipers. we’re from out of town and was raining while ours broke. was hoping they could help change them for us, since they advertise free wiper blade installation. was told by RJ that he was the only employee there at the time so he was not able to come out and help us. have been sitting here for about 10-15 minutes trying to do it ourselves, but nothing. then some other cars pull up and a different employee comes out and helps them, no problem.

The best part about O'Reilly's is they are open till 8-9pm. So a person can work on their vehicle after they are done working. Most of the parts are alot cheap in price and most have a 1-3 yr warranty....

Had to buy a battery for my car. My car is special. So I'm told. Battery goes in the trunk. Yup, I said it. The trunk. It's a "difficult installation". Too much liability for the store to do it. I'm ok with that. They were above board, and told me flat out. I respect that. They will always get my business. Thanks GM.

Worst experience with a parts store ever, the clowns couldn't even figure out how to change a battery, then told me i had a bad starter and laughed. When actually the battery cable was lose, really bad customer experience and i will tell everyone i meet.

Always helpful and quick to find what I need. Free service for so many things a backyard mechanic needs. Free tool rental, engine code diagnosis, etc. Love these guys!
