We called our regular shop and they weren’t able to get us in until Monday next week. With a job where I need a car to drive to my client’s homes, we were referred to Pfister. The receptionist was very sweet and funny, while Curtis knows his stuff. I was raised in a dealership with a service and body department and I’m particular about my car and who works on it. As a first time customer, Curtis put me at ease, and the car was ready quicker than we thought. We will be back again for more. Added bonus: I forgot my work key and keyfob in the car and realized it after it was towed. The receptionist was kind and brought to me. That’s customer service!
These guys genuinely saved our butts. We were up for a vacation when one of our cars broke down, nd thanks to Phister, we didnt have to make an additional 2 hour trip. Thank goodness we were just outside their shop. They were efficient, knowledgable, and very friendly. I would 100% recomend this shop to anyone in the Wis-Dells area!

Of course the day before we were set to leave for vacation, we wake up to a large screw in our tire. The office staff were so flexible and understanding. I assumed the vehicle would be there all day, but it was done in less than two hours. So grateful for their kindness and flexibility!

I had a great experience with Pfister this last week. Driving through the dells and got a flat tire.
I got a tow to their yard and new tires on with in 36 hours. They took good care of my convertible, and were friendly and professional to deal with.
Everyone was friendly and attentive. It seems like the services performed were successful. The only negative was that my change oil light came on after driving about a hundred miles. Obviously the light had not been reset, so we went online and found out how to reset it ourselves. It was concerning for a moment, but understandable. We are pleased with the service so far.
I had to drop off my vehicle that i had sitting for 9 months , Curtis made me an appt for it for Wednesday (dropped it off Friday). He called me Tuesday telling me what all needed to be done and was done with it later that day. So service was done ahead of schedule. Everyone there that i dealt with was pleasant including Toby :)
Really nice waiting are. Have never seen recliners in a waiting room. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very accomidating. Curtis came out for a brief visit, always good to see him. Good job by the shop. I highly recommend Phister Automotive and Light Truck!
Vacation made less stressful!!! Just after we got to the Dells our back brakes started failing. We bought the parts and were going to change them ourselves but didn't have all the appropriate tools. Not only did these guys use the parts we bought, they did the job the morning after I called them and completed it in a timely manner. They were SOOOOO friendly and helpful and reasonably priced. I can't thank them enough!!!
Excellent service !! Was able to get my vehicle in their shop quickly and the service was finished before the estimated time frame. The entire staff was very nice, friendly and professional, the owner, mechanic and counter cashier. Prices are reasonable and fair. I'm happy with the service I received.

My first experience with Pfister's was extremely positive. I called and they were able to get me in the same day as I need a suspension adjustment. They understood I was leaving in 2 days for an RV trip pulling a trailer. They were courteous, very competent and very fair with their price. I will definitely be back for future work. Jeff Johnson
Tire got a nail in the lot of the resort while on vacation and t front desk at the resort recommended I give these guys a call. Was told to stop by and they would get it taken care of ASAP. Was in and out in just over an hour. Fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. Thanks!
Giving 2 stars for friendliness and efficiency. I'm afraid all the 5 star reviews are for these reasons. Typical story of car breaking down on the way home from Minnesota. We had car towed here and got a ride home back to Illinois. The call on the way home was that factory alternator was the only way to go as after market ones fail quickly. Cost for part alone $1400. After being home a few days, this price didn't sit right with us. We called around to several dealers in our area and got the same price over and over which was $756. We can be understandable about a mark up but double the price is insane. After many phone calls, we finally got a call back from the owner who graciously took off $500 due to a "billing issue". Travelers beware. The friendliness is used to mask the fact that they are overcharging by a bunch (we expected to overpay). The total cost for the alternator replacement was $1600 which is still too much but we paid and went and got our car.
It's always a pleasure to deal with Curtis and his crew. They truly care about what they do. Since they had to consolidate their business into one location 20+ miles from where I live, they will still be my go to for all of my maintenance and auto repairs!!!
We were visiting the dells for the week and our AC went out on our ‘16 Toyota Sequoia (compressor not coming on). It was low 90s to high 80s so we needed service restored and they accommodated us and troubleshooted the issue to a bad pressure sensor and replaced it and topped off the refrigerant. We also did an oil change and filter while we had it in for service (was due for one). They had great pricing and were honest upfront on their labor pricing. No pressure to upsell. Toby the little dog in the waiting area was super cute. I would recommend them so call and talk with Cory.
I was on a camping trip passing through Wisconsin when my trucks brake caliper seized up and destroyed the rotor and pad. I called Pfister's and Corey was able to set me up for the same day when everyone else was two weeks out. He was able to replace the brakes the SAME DAY. Thanks for getting us back on the road. Fair pricing and excellent customer service.
We were on vacation passing through the Dells and had a sudden issue with our car. The staff were able to get us in quickly at 3:30 PM on a Friday and adjust the issue. Incredibly helpful and friendly! If we were local, we would absolutely use their services routinely.
