Had a great experience with Matheny. My salesperson, Jamie Karcher, was awesome; very helpful, competent, and responsive. Everyone I dealt with was great including April Teel, and the driver, Steve Fries, who drove 300 miles to deliver my new truck and pick up my trade in.

Jamie is a great saleswoman. Explain everything on truck. Had a tire going flat on first day having it. Leaking at the valve stem. Service department fixed the very next day.

Dustin Oldaker is awesome, and a real pro at his craft and he is like an encyclopedia on GMC products. We have bought 3 GMC terrains from Matheny and have been very happy with the experience and professionalism we have had at Matheny Motors.

Went to get an alignment done and a few small things that just needed a technician to put in a couple tabs for a dash rattle and check my truck for codes an hour after dropping my truck off. I get a call saying that $700 worth of work needs to happen to my truck and that they can get it done that day But for some reason can’t check the codes on my truck put in two plastic tabs or doing an alignment correctly because after spending 100 bucks, my steering wheel is still crooked. After being told by the service advisor, Mick that all of their technicians are busy and cannot do any mechanical work and then you get a call saying that oh work needs to be done. That’s pretty shady. Would not recommend.

I didn't buy a car from here, but I had a flat tire and they helped me reflate it while I was waiting for a tow. Great people. If I was looking to buy a car, I'd go here.

Matheny GMC has been phenomenal every time I have been there. The environment is very friendly and respectful. The service department has been so very helpful every time I have had my car serviced in their service department, getting me in super quick and addressing issues in a timely manner. I 100% recommend to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle or needing service done to their vehicle!

I bought just bought my 2025 gmc sierra from Matheny Motors and they were absolutely phenomenal!! Our cars salesman was Dylan, he was great not pushy, no pressure just there to help assist!! My favorite type of salesperson! Mike the floor manager was great too this is actually the third car Mike has helped me and my wife find and you can tell he wants you to buy a car you wont regret. The environment here is all good vibes no pressure on the sale, super knowledgeable team, and super easy to work with!! 10/10 will come back next time im in the market for a vehicle!!

Everyone at the dealership was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond from management to sales to finance. A pleasant buying experience. The service department has always been great and they do amazing work.

WARNING!!! If you are stuck on the road and think this shop will help you would be wrong. They have a satellite shop they use to rip off hard working folks while keeping day rate roach trap motels liquid. This shop is not “dealer quality” they are lazy and incompetent. As it turns out they advertise as a dealer but are not. Dealers have national warranty and this place has ZERO warranty. They broke things to increase the final bill with no remorse and charged for all of it with inflated rates. They don’t have the equipment needed for the repair they commit to, but no worries folks, you can buy them for the shop, now they will have it and add a week and a half to your stay while you wait for them to get it. I hope they enjoy the transmission jack and other miscellaneous tools they added to my final invoice. At the end they tried to charge for storage in their lot due to their delays. We should have known better when what should have been a simple fix at about 3 hours and were told would take 6 days to even look at it. 6 weeks later in a no tell motel scraping by and they have broken more major pieces tripling the initial estimate. It took them 6 weeks of not fixing anything, and destroying major components to decide the only guy that can work on it calls in weekly on a Friday for a three and four day weekend with no remorse. They do not care that they have no work ethic, no sense of responsibility or that the customer is stranded. They have zero communication skills. If you don’t call them they will not work on your rig or provide an update. Even then they will lie. This is our living, not a freaking hobby they are messing with. When you do call them they are always in a meeting which seems to be daily happy hour starts during operating hours. Two days of actual work after they broke a main component with 4 hours of labor and 6 weeks later they held the rig hostage for a PO number on a paid invoice. They don’t do first come first serve and have soured my family on the entire state of West Virginia. Scott, Jason, Anthony and their crew need to do better

Our transmission went out on our vehicle. Dillon and Mike were really great! They got us in a vehicle, explained the whole process, and were great all around. They are at the Gm lot.

Was looking at a jeep, let the salesman know I was working on financing and received a text that another salesman had sold it. Not impressed. Greg and Amanda were great though.

Tim C. from the used car lot was fantastic! We were after a very specific vehicle and he helped us every step of the way from snapping a few pictures of the fresh trade in to picking me up at Enterprise after my six hour drive from Pennsylvania. I bought my Acadia at Mathenys and purchased the extended 10 year warranty (CNA National). I thought that would save future headaches however as soon as the factory warranty ran out the AC went out. Mathenys would not look at it without charging me over $500. I now have a vibration in the steering and they won’t look at it without me paying over a $200 diagnostic fee. What good is this warranty? I have already been told by reliable sources that it’s the rack and pinion. In addition the stabilitrac light has came on and stayed twice. I’m being told the computer didn’t save the code. Very disappointed in Mathenys.

Dustin Oldaker did a great job. He answered all the questions we had, was respectful of our time, and wasn't pushy in the least. The rest of the team was excellent and very professional! I highly recommend Matheny Motors!

My experience with Matheny was top notch. I had done my research and knew what I was interested in. Dustin came out and I was test driving in moments. Once I pulled the trigger, the entire staff was very friendly and down to earth. No pushy upselling, casual conversation like being with friends. Dustin was great to work with and very helpful. He kept in touch to let us know what was going on until the deal was complete. April was great also we appreciated her knowledge and her helpfulness. I would recommend both of them to my friends and family that might be looking for a new car.

Our experience here with Dustin was awesome. He was able to get us qualified over the phone so we could just show up the next day sign some papers and go. He showed us all the cool features of our car before we left. He even helped us get a VA discount because of my husband's service. If yall want a smooth experience with a nice guy give them a call. How and don't forget April she is great at her job, explained all the details to us and didn't get annoyed with the questions. Great place, great car, great experience.

We were very impressed by the service, professionalism and how great you guys prioritized our situation. THANK YOU, for also taking care of us, and not rechanging us for a new Diagnostic test, but was willing to recheck our vehicle and gave us a loaner car inorder to accommodate us, to get back and forth to work, while our vehicle is being serviced. What a Refreshing Experience 😌

UPDATE: WE CANCELLED THE SERVICE AND WENT TO THE SELLING DEALER. Hopefully my face to face will be better than the appointment making experience. I have worked in service for several years and I know how it works, so the fact they tried to tell me it would be a week for an oil change and then after I told them I could book online sooner, all of a sudden he had an opening Friday. Took my name and no other information, I have had vehicles there prior, did not even ask on what or anything. Maybe he needs a new calling. This is part of why we do not buy here and if I could have taken it to Mark Porter where we bought it I would have!

I've bought from 3 different dealerships and Matheny's is by far my favorite. The buying experience was great and they were very helpful in getting the right vehicle for us. Tomorrow will be my second time getting service from them and everytime I call they are always pleasant and quick at getting you in for service. I'm honestly sad that we will be moving because they're my favorite place to work with when it comes to my car. Definitely recommend them.

We stopped at Matheny Motors and when we went in Sondra asked if we needed help. She was very friendly and courteous. We went in to look at a Ford Explorer at about 9;00 am and by 4:00 that afternoon we were on our way home in the Explorer. The service was fast, easy, and friendly. We were treated very well and are very pleased with Sondra and Jamie and really appreciate their help. We hope to enjoy our Explorer for many years.

We walked onto the lot at 9:00AM with a pretty good idea what we were looking for. We had been checking out the inventory on the website (very nice website) and pre-filled some info to get started with the financing. Seth (our salesman) introduced himself after a few minutes. We asked about financing options before we test drove anything and the process was underway in a few minutes. We drove a car and after a short test we were set on buying. We were back at the office with a few documents and by 12:30 PM we were back home in our driveway drooling over our new car. Seth was great to work with, not pushy at all. The financing person was also super nice and had us all signed up in 15 minutes. They answered all my questions, explained everything well, and worked with me and went above and beyond to accommodate our trade in and down payment needs. I would recommend Matheny to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Right off the bat it was a pleasant experience. We were treated respectfully by all of the staff. Anthony was super helpful with answering all of our questions and guiding us towards the vehicle we wanted. Very pleased with this dealership, we will definitely continue doing business with Matheny Motors.

The waiting room in the service department is nice and comfortable, I like the natural light coming in from the large windows. My vehicle was ready to go well before the time stated it would take to complete. I think Rick Tracewell is very friendly with outstanding customer service skills. Even if I had to wait longer than expected, his positive attitude and personality would be able to smooth it over.

Exceptional customer service! We drove from NC just to deal with Matheny Motors. The Finance manager, April, was wonderful. She got us the best financing available and explained all the options available to us. We walked out with a new vehicle fully covered by the extended services available to us. I am thrilled that we decided to go back to Matheny Motors. We will definitely be repeat customers...again!! Thanks again!!!!
