Totaled my car at night. Driver came out thinking it was just a break down, but pivoted on site to what was needed, and retrieved the wreck from a difficult situation, skillfully, and thoroughly with a two part scoop and drop to make sure the load was locked in properly, and securely.

Everyone is so nice here, helpful and always talking 2 everyone..... I will admit I don't stop here often but this is a great store/gas station who have a ton of loyal customers n r always busy! If u haven't been here definitely stop by n see 4 urself!

We only used this place because gas is cheap but today it changes. The pumpers are so rude that I can’t even stand to go here anymore. Bad staff bad experience will never go back. Trust me just go up to sheets right up the street to avoid the rude staff here. Do better.

These guys are amazing. Helped me when my car lost power on the highway and did it immediately without wait. So helpful

I know what it is a gas station and the parking lot is small but their food is fabulous , homemade meals , salads and desserts. Great price on tobacco. You can get your Lottery tickets. Roy's has a garage in the back. And towing available

The woman that answered was very nice and professional. We had to have a tow truck come to our house (we didn’t catch his name sorry) but he was very nice and ended up figuring out all we needed was a jump for the car to start and a new battery for our car. It was a great experience and we will definitely use them again. Thanks to Mr. Luke Christie at State Farm for recommending Roy’s Service Station

Roy's is a Berkeley Springs institution. They have been here and will continue to be here for the long haul. They support every youth organization in town and help build a sense of community here. Everybody knows this family and their generosity. Jimmy has always been more than fair to us in service and pricing. We trust him and value his opinion. The whole team is friendly and kind. They are honest and hardworking people.

Cheapest breakfast in town, b food is good, but somehow has the worst coffee in the county. Great people. Love going there.

After watching my neighbor's son play football at the high School. I thought I was in New Jersey as they are the state with full service gas pumps. The attendant was very polite and helpful.

Don't ever trust Roy's towing there overpriced, and there liars.. We had a car picked up locally and taken to another local shop, the car was picked up at work. When we went to pay for some reason our card wouldn't work so they told us don't worry just come in and pay it today they took the car to my shop of choice and refused to drop it if my mechanic didn't pay it right then telling him "if he wants to work on it he'll pay it" he did pay it ive used him for years, I got my card working 10 mins after the driver left so I stopped in after work that evening to pay it and Roy's told me "Your mechanic paid it it's something he does for preferred customers he just adds it on your bill" they lied right to my face because that's not what happend I'll never understand why people think Roy's is so great there not. Use Skeeters or another just not Roys

Friendly staff. Small store with essentials. Lottery station, bait sales, limited seating, an eatery and the only full service gas station in town offered at 1 fuel island and usually lowest gas prices within miles.

I absolutely love Roy's! Stuff is always so kind and helpful. And it carries a lot of little items for gift giving or just to take home. They also sell a variety of tobacco and products to roll your own cigarettes.

Poor customer service and repair. Stay away from this auto repair shop. After two visits to the shop for the same issue, the car was far far worse after they did the job. In addition, they installed new, cheap universal parts without (without) calling me in advance for my approval. I ended up removing the cheap, universal parts installed without my approval and taking the parts back to the shop within 2 weeks of the poor work hoping for partial reimbursement for labor incurred for the poor repair. The manager was very rude and refused to offer any reimbursement for labor or the returned parts nor even acknowledge installing parts without my prior approval. The shop did not honor their commitment of parts and labor have a minimum limited guarantee for 3 months as stated on invoice. If needing car repar, again, stay away from this shop.

Went in for an oil change after I made my appointment the day before. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, they had me out in around 30 minutes! Definitely recommend, will be returning in the future. Thank you!

What an honest and generous group of people. On the way out of town after an amazing cabin weekend for my birthday, our car started vibrating violently on the highway. It was freezing and had snowed heavily that weekend, and we still had a few hrs of interstate driving ahead of us. We were desperate for a service station to take a look at the car, and we pulled into Roys. They were so friendly and looked at our car immediately. Turns out the undercarriage was just iced over causing an imbalance so they lifted the car and sprayed it down with warm water and *voilà* everything was fine. But they let us warm our 2 mastiffs up in their office while we waited and didn't charge us for the de-icing. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you thank you thank you - we won't forget your generosity.

Good prices, and they even still pump gas for you if you want! Inside is very country gas station, which is great. You, can get quite a few things from truck rope, tobacco, soda, snacks, and even food. There's an areas you can sit down and eat too

Had my engine blow up in Berkeley Springs WVa. Had it towed to these guys. I pretty much knew what had happened. They confirmed the engine was gone. I forget names but the manager said when you are ready that he would drive me to the Best Western. They even pushed my car so that when my friends got there with a car trailer it would be easy to load, and it was. Stayed there for about an hour talking to the lady that runs the front end, super nice. A bad situation was made tolerable by the kindness of Roy's Service center. Wish they were closer because I would sure hook them up with Paintless Dent Repair if needed. Highly recommend this shop, this is from a guy who has been in the automotive field for 35 years. I know a good shop when I see it. Thanks again My HHR made it home.

I am so thankful for Roy’s service center. My husband and I came to visit Berkeley Springs from out of town. I went to the grocery store and came out to find his truck not starting. Called AAA and within 20 minutes the tow truck guy Bobby was there. Told me it was the starter. It was a Saturday and no shops were open in the area. Called his coworker to come open the shop for an hour to fix it. Crazy but the truck broke down in the parking lot behind the auto parts store, we went over to buy the starter and I even got to use his discount. Towed the truck and me over to the shop. Cody came in special to fix the starter and battery and truck is working great no issues at all! Professional, quick, reliable and so so helpful. Thank you all so so much, completely went out of your way and I truly appreciate it!

I have been meaning to write a review about this place for over a year now. It was only now that I drove by and realized the name of the place. Last year my family and I were in our way down to Luray for a week long getaway. It was raining pretty bad and we were rolling through this beautiful town on the weekend. I can’t remember if it was a Saturday or Sunday. Either way there wasn’t a single place open in town that I could find when the inevitable happened. My wipers stopped working. I am fairly sure they were closed when I pulled in. I was walking around the property like a lost puppy in the pouring rain when someone came walking by. I don’t know who it was, they were an older gentleman. I am assuming it was the owner. We talked a little bit and he looked at the car. Figured out pretty quickly what the issue was. He wasn’t able to fix it that day due to there being no place open to get the part needed but his generosity and willingness to help has stuck with me. He at least was able to steer me in the right direction, he recommended places to stay for the night, some local restaurants and to look at it the next day when he could get the parts needed. I ended up continuing to drive to Luray and ended up using some unconventional methods to ensure we could see in the rain. Thank you kind soul whoever you were. I’m sorry you had to stand out in the rain basically just comforting a stranger.

Great service center. My car broke down outside of town, and the towing service was wonderful! Once the car was at the service center they serviced it quickly and did a good job. They were thoughtful enough to do things like cleaning the battery terminals for free since they had to disconnect the battery anyway.

We were traveling through the area on Memorial Day when we had a valve stem slowly fail. We knew we couldn't safely make the rest of the trip home. If course, everything was closed but we were able to get into contact with Kenny, a tow truck driver who offered to come pick up the car and take us to a local hotel. Not sure if he is associated with this garage but he was very friendly, professional and helpful. We were able to make it to the hotel on the bad valve stem. He left word for the office at Roy's to check on us in the am. And they did. They called minutes after opening up the next day. I was able to get enough fix a flat into it to make it the 5 miles to Roy's without doing any damage to the wheel or tire so we didn't need the tow. I had a new valve stem and TPMS monitor in the car that I had bought, but my local service station could not program that brand. Some shops won't install parts bought by the owner, but Roy's was able to install and program it saving us quite a bit of money. They took care with my custom wheels, did a thorough job of cleaning out all of the fix a flat, got the TMPS sensor synced up to the car and got us back on the road again. Just had to pay for the breakdown, mount and balance. Great group of people.

We were delighted to find this hidden gem In Berkeley Springs. Just wanted a quick bite. I had the chef salad. My husband had a turkey club. This is the real deal family friendly home cooking combination gas station, gift shop, local wine and deli for to go!! We were also impressed with the staff and their southern hospitality, give back to the community. You can leave a meal for someone who just might need a meal and you donate food, clothing whatever on the bench in front of the restaurant. Our new neighbor told us about this place and I am glad we checked it out!! Can’t wait to take the kids!!

It's a dying breed of service stations that will pump gas for you! It's so nice to stop in for a fill up and the food is home made and reasonably priced. My kid loves browsing the unique candy selection and if you vape they have better deals than most places.

Wouldn't say this is the fanciest place you will find, but this is a local favorite. The food is good with lots for portions. It's easy to get into, no steps. They have people who actually pump gas. We've had them service our vehicles. Very friendly staff. They're open when a lot of place aren't. Very consistent hours.

Decent location for a pit stop. Separate men's and women's, single, restrooms. Clean. Has a small cafe attached for food and hot drinks. Gas pumps are full service.

Always great, personal service. Helpful and efficient at diagnosing the problem / issue. Knowledgeable mechanics on staff. Helped me resolve issues as they arise. Nice little store with attached restaurant Good food at the restaurant, good snacks and bulk tobacco and supplies in the store. Lots of other goodies in the store. Gas station is awesome. Virgil and the staff are on the ball and offer full-service.
