Nothing but good things to say about Mike's! Took a car to another local shop in town and it ended up sitting there for 2 weeks, when reaching out to see the status we were told the parts weren't even ordered yet. Picked it up that day, called Mike's and he had it fixed 2 days later AND at a lower price then quoted elsewhere. I have been back since and again great service and communication. I won't take my cars anywhere else now.
Stopped at Mike's looking for help with a flat tire. Mike and his guys were busy with cars on lifts but took the time to help me Jack up the car and see what the problem was. Turned out i needed a new tire, which they didn't have equipment to change, but they let me keep my car there and even pulled the wheel off for me to take to another shop that was able to order something next day. No charge! Really good guys running this shop. Would absolutely go to them if I needed something in the future. Highly recommended!
It was like having your big brother take care of your car. They were extremely professional and extremely friendly. If they saw something that needed attention, they explained what and why, as well as what could wait if it was a financial issue. They did not push unnecessary issues. They treated me as if I were a family member.
Went in for a simple inspection but I had a defective part. They attempted to fix tge part but ultimately broke it and refused to fix what they broke. Will not be recommending this place anymore what a joke. Thanks for nothing
Been going for all my service needs for years, quoted price not what given in the end and double charged service fee for finishing up a job, horrible new manager, new garage time.
Always fair, never try to offer unneeded repairs, as a single female that's a blessing as others have tried to rip me off which is how I ended up a customer for 15yrs.

Mike’s is my go-to. They’re fair and friendly and never recommend more than needed, unless it’s routine maintenance. They have repaired my motor, my tired, my radiator, and more.
There’s a reason I still bring my car back here for all things outside of basic maintenance— even when I live 40 minutes away. They’re the most honest, trustworthy shop. Wont charge an arm and a leg or recommend unnecessary services just to pad their bottom line or to get one over on you. They do their job and they do it right. Mike, Chris—all of y’all. Thank you!
My daughters and I take all 3 of our cars to them. It's not easy to find an honest and affordable mechanic and this shop fits the bill. They are not disorganized, just extremely busy because people like them so much.
Mike and Chris are to awesome guys. Always make time to get job done. Reasonable pricing, especially if you get your own parts. Speeds up the process. They are essential and a great service to the community.
I was rolling through town and needed an oil change stat! One of the mechanics squeezed me in with quick turn around so I could safely travel back home. Excellent customer service, value, and friendless! If I lived in WV Mike’s would be me go to for all things auto! Thank you :)
Mike's is great--and so is Mike, his son Chris, and the other guys who work there. What you really want to know is: Am I going to get ripped off?
In my experience (and I've been taking our cars to Mike's for over a decade), absolutely not. On the contrary, we've trusted Mike's with our beaters (and we've had plenty) and our new(er) cars as well, for major repairs, little ones, and inspections.
My car was there for over a week. Left it Tuesday night was suppose to get looked at Wednesday. They didn’t touch it til Friday and come to find out I had to order parts I couldn’t get til after the weekend. Got the parts and it was suppose to be done Tuesday. They never touched it. They tried to say they could have it done Wednesday at noon. They were promising it to be done numerous times and kept saying other cars came up. I have since picked up my car with it being there for over a week and nothing done but some fluid changes. Would not recommend.
Got totally screwed there. Been going there since I moved here 4 years ago. Mike was in charge. Mike retired and the son is in charge. This is not the same place folks.
Seem like great people but did a HACK JOB on replacing motor in truck. Put in New radiator that was too small and used 2x4 blocks to make it fit. Took back and got correct one installed but they didn't install rubber mounts so it's metal on plastic and aluminum. Also didn't tighten bolts on a/c compressor and left stripped bolts on alternator. Sad that you pay good money and have to make repair behind mechanic.

While driving from home in Pittsburgh, to my daughters home in Hayes VA, my engine light came on and I was in the middle of nowhere on the PA turnpike with no help in sight. I stopped in Breezewood and a nice guy at a truck stop hooked it up and told me that is was my crank shaft sensor. I proceeded to my destination when I stopped at a rest stop someone mentioned a service station but alas I couldn’t find it. Then I called my daughter and she found Mike’s on google. When I got there and explained my medical discomfort, Chris got me right into the shop, diagnosed the problem, replaced the sensor and had me on my way in less than 2 hours without overwhelming with a bill that, anywhere else, would’ve sent me home without the joy of seeing my daughter, grandsons and infant great granddaughter.
Whether you’re in a jam or just need guys to put faith in, I have to believe that Mike and his son, Chris, are the kind of good people you want on your side and under your hood.
It was a Saturday and I had to take my car somewhere else because my inspection was dead and they rejected it because they said my strut was bad. They also quoted me a price of over 700 to fix. I knew my cars handling was fine, no problems with being bouncy or any handling issues. So I called Mike and asked him to check it out. I told him if it needed replaced to go ahead and do it. But he said he wasn't sure why they rejected it. Now he could have made some good money replacing something that didn't need replaced but he didn't. That is why I always take my vehicles to him when I need something done. I know I can trust him.
