Some dingbat employee gave me a hard time for returning an item that upon opening, was discovered to have been used and already previously returned. Obviously I want my money back because it wasn’t new and they don’t have quality control. Instead of just doing his job and processing the return he behaved as if the return was coming out of his check and gave me a hard time. Ridiculous. Double check you items before you leave the store at this location.
Great service. I have Covid at the moment but needed windshield wiper for my truck. The gentleman talked to me over the phone. He determined what size blades were needed came outside installed them for me and I was able to pay him. In which he had already set me up with a one year warranty and had me ready to go in no time.
Very nice employees keep up that friendly welcoming attitudes u all have it just might make someone's day u never kno but u all are wonderful. Ty so much ur appreciated so much
I will never go to the Bluefield, WV advanced again or any other one more than likely. I went to purchase a headlight and asked the gentleman if he wouldn't mind helping me change the bulb. I was told "I don't know how, you can youtube how to do it." There was no offer to see if any other employees could help or anything. Now it's pretty straightforward and I know how to do it, but if I can get someone who really knows what they are doing to do it I will. The man just didn't want to help. I returned the overpriced bulb and went and got them elsewhere and tried changing it myself and got it in but in trying to secure the bulb in the fixture it exploded in my face... so that's what youtubing it got me. Luckily with the help of Amazon and a great friend I got it taken care of. Moral of the story... Go to O'Reilly's! You will not even have to ask for help, they will just go change it for you no matter what time of day or the weather!
This is my go to automotive store. The employees go above and beyond to help me find what I need (often when I don't know what the thing-a-ma-jig is called). Supplies and pricing have changed over the last few years since corporate ownership changed, but the employees' concern for my satisfaction remains a constant.
Absolutely will never return! From being hung up on or even better the phone not being answered at all to placing orders for things that never come this place has all your bad experiences in one location. Save your time and go to oreillys they price match and are fantastic.
They are all rude and never want to help. Went to get check engine light read and they said they would do then he rudely changed his mind and said they couldnt, they don't have a code reader.
Parts are way overpriced compared to other auto parts stores and their quality is pretty bad, I used to get heater hoses and other hoses or different sizes from here but they all leak after a short amount of time the Thermoid “brand” hoses have pin holes in them causing them to leak, needless to say I don’t shop at any Advance Auto anymore, have had too many bad parts from there, only had THREE good parts from there window motor, waterpump and a wiper motor!
The staff is very personable and very professional. Very willing to help in anyway that they can. Even if it's go out in the sun zero cold and replace wiper blades for you.
