This place is stocked full of nostalgia, antiques, new boutique like items, coins, Amish furniture, and handmade items. You’ll need at least 1-2 hrs to fully look at everything.

My sister and I visited Point Pleasant last year and this was one of our favorite things we did! We spent hours in this store, admiring all of the unique handmade goods and checking out the antique area. We bought some things and loved this shop! The people were lovely and there were so many things to look at. Definitely something for everybody in this store! You must check out this store if you are in point Pleasant, and set aside amount of time so you don’t feel rushed!

Three friends and I walked in while attending the Mothman festival and we were watched like a HAWK by this one particular older lady in a blue-purplish shirt and white pants with blonde-ish hair. We were carrying bags, but were never asked to check them or leave them at the front (which we would have been fine doing). Instead, she veeery obviously followed us around the entire shop and would stare directly at us. A friend overheard this woman (who did not see my friend standing there) calling us suspicious for going back to a certain area. It's a large store and we were interested in seeing what was being sold at each booth, of course we'd go back to a certain booth to see again. She approached us several times and was asking to take items from us to leave at the counter, as if she didn't trust us with them, but never asked to see our bags. Then, would lurk behind us again. It made all four of us very uncomfortable. We also heard another, older male employee being rude to some customers around the same time. When we went upstairs, there were four young boys completely unattended who were pulling clothing items off of racks and SPRINTING around tables with glass. While the four of us were looking at some luggage, they approached us and constantly asked about the clothing items they had pulled out and were playing with. No staff ever came to see what the running and ruckus was, but the second we came downstairs the same older lady was following us so closely. By time we finally were ready to check out (and incredibly uncomfortable already), the older woman was walking and staring at her phone while watching one of my friends. Lo and behold, I see her open her camera and START TAKING PHOTOS. While I was in line for the checkout, she was so obviously taking photos of my three friends who were waiting on me that I asked the woman who was cashing me out about it. She apologized if we were uncomfortable and all four of us shopping offered to have our bags checked if it would make the shop feel better. They mentioned that they really didn't know anything about photos but kind of switched the topic. I get having someone keep an eye out on the floor but this woman didn't really look at a single other person in that shop, only followed us. The only time she wasn't tailing us was when we were upstairs with the young boys. Admittedly, we were kind of vocal about her following us because it was so obvious and mentioned several times amongst ourselves that they could search our bags (and only two of us ever held merchandise, a friend with a checkered shirt and me with a salt and pepper shaker set, which I kept FAR from my bag in case this woman came to say something to me). To top it all off, as we were leaving with our paid items, she followed us all the way to the door. If I'd have known the four of us would be treated as borderline criminals, we never would've went in. All four of us were rather upset and uncomfortable, especially about the photos. If you're going to be so strict about it, have people leave their bags up front. Most people will understand and would prefer that than being followed and watched from around corners. Edit: I did add her description a little more clearly because the owners/managers should really talk to her about this, especially the photo taking.

Quirky little antiques store. Selection and prices vary wildly based on the vendor stall. A lot of interesting vintage and modern finds to be had. Prices are mostly reasonable, with most vendors offering a discount of some sort. Some modern day Mothman items peppered amongst the antiques. Hard to tell who's staff and who is a customer, unless they are behind a register. Staff seemed friendly. Aisles can be skinny and the shelves are stacked which made me a little nervous being in there with three kids, but we made it out without incident.

Visited this place because it was near the mothman museum. Wish I didn’t walk in there. The smell of one booth overpowers the whole store. I really wanted to come in here for glassware and mothman stuff but we had to walk out because of the smell.

Not much of an antique shop. The booths towards the back are nice but the front is a lot of cricket made iteams and just junk really. It's sad because the area needs a cool nifty antique shop that has items different than the other stores downtown. This place really needs some new booths with oddities and such.

Lots of nick nacks and Mothman merch. Not everything is an antique, there are lots of new made things. The staff are friendly. Smells like an old place, over all we had fun poking around to see what we could find.

This is a charming little antique shop that also offers a variety of non-antique gifts, like handmade items, giving it a unique mix. While other reviews mention friendly staff, they seemed a bit cranky during our visit, so maybe it was just an off day. One of the highlights is their large collection of novelty drinking glasses, especially the Smurfs collection, which is always a fun find. The handmade Mothman items, like Christmas ornaments and bags, were a nice touch and added a local, personal vibe to the shop. A nice trio combination with this store, the Mothman Museum, and the Point Pleasant Trading Company.

About a year ago I was accepted to be in a vendor in this store. I prepped for about 3 weeks making products worth approximately $800+. I tried contacting the owner numerous times about if she was ready for me to set up. She ignored my many messages. It was so discouraging spending that much time, money, and energy on products for this store. Just a simple hey we went another direction or we aren't interested anymore would have been sufficient. I would have been disappointed, but I wouldn't have been out time and money. I use to absolutely love this store, unfortunately now I won't shop there.

nice antique store, there's definitely something for everyone! there are also non-antique items, so if you're not into antiques still stop in and take a look! the layout was a bit confusing so it was a little hard to remember what sections I had been through already.

Excellent antique store! This place has everything you need. You can find Amish furniture, china, comic books, hot wheels, tools, kitchenware, tables, chairs, and many other collectibles and useful items. The service is always friendly and relaxed. Definitely one of the go-to stores in this part of WV. Check it out!

Great store. There is something for everyone here. I didn't buy any antique, but I did find a couple of trinkets and a mothman shirt for myself. My husband is regretting but buying the mothman feathers and big foot fur ? The employees (owners?) were both super friendly.

Hidden gem in Mason County for collectors and furniture buyers. Worth a look from visitors to the area. There is an entire section committed to mothman merch and another for comics and cards. All kinds of other collectors treasures throughout. Very friendly staff. The guy from American Pickers visited this place before.

Mostly new primitive style furniture and decor. The antiques were nice but pricey. Many I looked at had no price tag, kinda frustrating. Very clean and we'll arranged. Nice, friendly staff.

Neat store. Alot of different items from many different vendors. Mostly antiques, some home crafted items and collectable items. I was surprised to see someone selling funko pop toys which I really like. Worth a visit!

I enjoyed it. The setup is difficult, in the back it's one way in, one way out. So, instead of looping around, you're cornered and have to be in close proximity to others. The people that run it are so nice, it's worth the slight discomfort.

I absolutely LOVE The Mason Jar!! I get all my wax melts there and country/Americana decorations. The main reason I like this place so much is because of the owner. She is by far the kindest lady i have ever met. I always see her with a smile on her face and she never hesitates to help you find what you are looking for. It's a business centered around family and I love that.

I love to visit the Mason Jar. There is so much to see you can't do it all in one day. Quality antiques, crafts, food stuffs, etc. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

So many great items to check out! Only reason for 4 stars is it's kind of expensive. Other than that, 5 stars all the way. Great friendly employees as well.

Great little small town antique mall. They have some really cool local treasures like Fenton glass. Cool furniture, home decor, books, comic books, etc. Friendly staff. Also a big selection of modern Amish-mafe furniture.
