Made an appointment for 2pm and arrived at 1:45pm. Service is for 4 new tires and alignment. I wasn’t even checked in until 2:20pm. Guy said it would be two hours and completed by 5pm since that’s when they close.
Additionally the original quote over the phone was $1350 for everything including taxes. Now the guy at the desk is saying that the quote only included the tires. Alignment, disposal, and taxes are extra bringing the cost over $1600. Unfortunately I can’t wait until tomorrow and need to have my tires replaced.
Fast forward 4 hours…Here it is 6pm no vehicle and I’m now told it’s going to be another hour. How the hell do you operate a business like this?
Never going back to NTB and highly recommending everyone I know to avoid them like the plague.
Took my daughter's truck in for an alignment i could already tell the man on the counter had an attitude as soon as we walked in, an hour later he called to tell us her truck wasn't worth fixing it had so much wrong with it, first thing on his list was struts. I informed him a 2006 gmc truck has torsion bars not struts he said and I quote "struts,shocks, torsion bars it's all the same" no sir it's definitely not!, her estimate totaled $5906.00 to replace "recommended parts to be replaced ". Today we went to another shop she got her truck alignment for $107.00 and didn't need any replacement parts whatsoever. Be very aware of parts they "recommended" be replaced.
Very professional staff, I took the time to explain to me exactly what happened to my tire and took care of some a very reasonable amount of time very very pleased
I needed new tires for my truck. Setting up an appointment online for purchase and installation was easy and I was able to schedule additional services too. Checkin was quick and easy too. I was even able to get some work done using free WiFi. The technician found some other wear parts needing replaced and gave me a quote so I was able get everything installed on the same visit. The manager, Dyllan, checked on me several times during my wait and offered me a ride if I needed to go anywhere. When I got in my truck I couldn't believe how smooth the ride was and precise the steering was. The warranty on parts and labor was explained, and I was surprised to have received a discount IN ADDITION TO the instant manufacturer's rebate. NTB Dunbar WV provides the quick, careful, quality service I expect and I will definitely use this shop again.
I limped to NTB on a donut spare after curbing a tire and immediately was taken care of by deciding which tire I wanted. I was told my wait would be 30-45 minutes and it was approximately 30. I would highly recommend NTB to anyone.
Just don’t go here. Had the tie rods and drop steering bar. For an alignment. They went past their job description to look at motor mounts and a gear box I spilled atf on because power steering pump is leaking. Then asked about my front driveshaft if I knew it was missing… in an all time 4wd with ice everywhere and the driveshaft in my drive way. Please don’t go here. The stories are true. Motor has less the 80k on. I’m surprised they didn’t bring up 1st gear is too short and no overdrive
Yall lost out on money for an alignment and on labor for parts.
I got 4 tires and had them put on by Dyllan and he did a special buy 3 get one free. He was very quick and very professional. This guy knows what’s he’s doing I would recommend them 100%
Dyllan took great care of me and my ride. I can’t recommend him and his staff more! I may never go to another auto shop again for tires. Might come back to get my filters replaced!!!!
Not your typical tire shop! Had a great experience at NTB for my oil change. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient, and they got me in and out quicker than I expected. The manager, Dyllan, explained everything clearly without trying to upsell me on things I didn’t need, which I really appreciated. My truck runs great, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. They have definitely earned a repeat customer. Take my advice, if you need your vehicle serviced, take it to Dyllan and his team down at NTB...they will treat you right!
They are a rip off. I took my truck in for font end alignment after putting new tie rod ends on. They went over the entire truck telling me every little detail of my truck that has nothing at all to do with the alignment. Then after setting there for 2 hours they come out and tell me they cant do the alignment because the tie rod ends a shot. I literally just put brand new ones on and only drove the truck straight to them. Thats when the guy starts going through the list of the problem that my truck with 340,000 miles has on it. I know my truck has a few problems but it went in for a simple front end alignment.
Had an appointment for 11:00 am for a tire rotation. At 12:15 still had not been taken back, so asked how much further behind they were running. Was advised they just cleared a rack and is now 12:36 and still haven't taken my vehicle back.
Outstanding service and professionalism were able to fix a problem they definitely didn’t need to I will definitely be coming back if I need something from there again and I won’t be going to any other shop.
Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was hesitant to return since my last visit wasn’t great but they had the tires I wanted in stock so I decided to give them another chance. I come in at 10 am , get checked in after being told it would be about a 3 hour wait. I decided to wait in the lobby. At 1:45 I checked with the desk (Brian I believe) who said they were short handed and it would be about 2 more hours. I was committed at this point so I agreed to wait. At 4:00 I noticed my truck was still outside and asked if I would be done today. Brian didn’t give me any indication it wouldn’t. At 4:20 I heard him calling customers to let them know they wouldn’t be fixing their cars today. Knowing I was waiting in the lobby, he calls me too. When I answered, he realized I was in the lobby and came over to speak to me. I asked why he couldn’t install the 1600 tires today after I waited all day. He said 2 techs left early. That would have been nice to know 4 hours earlier. I left with no tires. All I am saying is - good service has value. Don’t waist your time and money here. I certainly won’t be back and I will be happy to spend more money elsewhere where I will get treated like a valued customer.
Needed front brakes. Stopped in with no appointment and Shaun got me in immediately!! Shaun was awesome to deal with. Brakes repaired far faster than my expectations!! Will be a repeat costumer!
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Classic lazy upselling tire shop. I walked in with a coupon for free tire balance (normally $25 a tire), alignment coupon for $84.99 (normally 120-130 plus tax), and free tire rotation. They called me up about hour & a half after waiting to tell me all 4 of my struts were shot & gave me a quote of $1637 to replace all 4 not including tax. My struts show no oil, rubber boot intact, spring intact, no blown seals. They said there’s no point in doing an alignment if the struts are shot which is untrue as well. There’s no broken spring, no bent strut, no broken control arm. This a very unprofessional, upselling, lazy tire shop and I highly discourage anyone from going unless you want an extra random $1000 “problem” tact on.
Shawn was the best! Super kind, professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. It was my first time here but I will definitely be back for any other car needs. Clean environment as well.
Shaun did any absolutely amazing job! I tried to get my tires at another place and had the appointment set for over a week just to show up and find out they hadn't even ordered them. I started panicking a little as I needed them today for my inspection and worked the rest of the week. NTB actually had my tires in stock which was a miracle in of its self as they are a weird size and weight and I typically have to order them. Then Slaun allowed me to come in and immediately put them on for me and completed my inspection. Absolutely saved my day and I will definitely be coming back and recommending everyone else too!
Shaun was great! Even with a mix-up from the call center, he made sure everything was handled and my alignment was done perfectly. Really appreciate his help!

I arrived for a Wheel Alignment, staff was nice at the time. It was simple wheel alignment but became a 2 day event due to Technician supposedly not have the correct tool for draglink adjustment although All parts were brand new and lubricated able to be adjusted by hand! Because I had to return I had an additional hour of travel time to achieve an Alignment and having the Shop Mechanic stating he was able to perfom adjustment by hand was upsetting. Due to being disabled I was unable to get down low to inspect work but a week later when I was able to wash my truck I realized that the New Rims were damaged in several locations from Alignment Tool mounting x2 on new rims and gouging where Technician bumped into the rims with it on New Rims with Less then 500 miles on them. When returned to store to discuss situation with assistant manager he stated there not at fault for this and he's not admitting fault. Wow! I've always used NTB for service and never had this issue before on any other Alignment or services period, but this has been so unpleasant I doubt I'll ever return for services after this and Customer Service provided by store representatives
I had appointment at 9am i arrived early they got me right in. I was able talk with the staff and the assistant manager they answered my questions that I had they were very knowledgeable, patient and courteous with their answers. I also had them give me an estimate on rotors and pads for future replacement/repairs. I would recommend them family and friends. Thank you again.
Found this tire shop along our route while on a trip to visit family up north. Dylan was helpful, friendly, and made it easier to accept the huge but necessary expense we weren’t expecting to make on our trip. Got us back on our way, so glad they were open later.
I purchased my tires at NTB and got a great deal on a set of four all weather Goodyear brand tires. I had comparison shopped online and called NTB directly to ask if the tires I wanted were in stock when I found that their online price beat out every one of their local competitors. I was happy when my call was quickly answered by a live person on site at my local store. The branch honored their discounted online rate even though I ordered directly with them over the phone. The set of tires that I had ordered arrived promptly the next day and in time for my mid morning appointment. They acted very professionally and the shop was efficiently managed and staffed with knowledgeable customer service stationed at the front counter. They inspected other areas while my tires were off and communicated their suggestions, but didn’t push any additional upgrades or repairs on me before proceeding with my tire work. I did have to receive an alignment, which they offered at a discounted rate. This actually corrected the issues that remained after a previous alignment I had just had done at another shop for a much higher price. NTB even provided me with a print off that detailed each calibrated adjustment that was made. I waited in a comfortable air conditioned waiting room and my car was ready quickly. They even e-mailed me reminding me to come back in to get my tires rotated for free after a couple of months. I didn’t have to make an appointment and I didn’t have a hasty deadline to meet when completing my rotation in order to maintain the terms of my original tire purchase warranty. I was treated with respect and like I was part of the process at each visit, with no surprises on my bill. I recommend NTB to anyone needing tires or for thr many other services they offer.
I called to check for a in stock tire. The gentleman who answered quickly got an answer and price and that they could fit me in asap if I came. I’m in the lobby and the staff are friendly, fast service didn’t have to sit and wait for someone. The lobby & bathroom are clean. We’re traveling across states back to North Carolina and glad we came here.
People in the front are nice but the service is lacking. Didn't ask what oil I wanted so of course put the most expensive in. I dropped it off at 9:45 for a 10 am appointment didn't get it back until 1:30 for new tires oil change and an inspection. When they put my inspection sticker in they left a grease mark on my gray interior.
Went to get one tire replaced at the Dunbar, WV location. I had called Brian earlier in the day and told him what I needed and how much I had to spend. After a few mins he told me he had a Cooper tire for $175.83, mounted and balanced. When I got there i introduced myself and he said he remembered talking to me. It took a solid 20 mins before the mechanic even took my car back then I waited another 47 for ONE tire. When he rang me up he said it was $185.03. Earlier he told me it was $175.83 taxes and all. I asked if he didn’t remember me joking earlier that I’d have to find the .83 somewhere to cover the $175.83 he told me it’d be. Very friendly crew, but don’t take their word if told a price. And don’t fall for the “it looks like your wheel bearings need replaced. Years ago we had my wife’s Jeep in there that had its bearings replaced a few months earlier and they tried pulling it on me. The mechanic took me back and said “see the play in the wheel?” There was no play in the wheel. not my first choice to get work done but when in a pinch…
What a phenomenal team of professionals! We were transiting the local area when the tread on my trailer tire delaminated. This team of folks had us back on the road quickly. Thanks so very much!
