I was broke down and needed a specific tire for my motorhome. She checked twice and find one. It was at their closing time and she and a tire changer stayed late to help us out. They went beyond and we appreciate them greatly. They were very friendly and got us in and out quickly. An awesome place to go.
I had an issue with driver's side power window which wouldn't go back up, they looked at the issue and resolved it. I had great piece of mind as I was from out of state and felt very comfortable going home. Job WELL DONE THANKS
Great service! Blew a tire late on a Sunday night, driving past the area, so I had my car towed here. Not only did they have my tire fixed early the next morning, but the owner of the shop personally came and picked me up from my hotel. During the car ride, I said that she didn't need to trouble herself with picking me up and that I could have figured out a way to get to the shop, to which she replied, "That's not how we do things around here."
they said it would be a 20 minute wait ended up waiting over an hour plus the worker sat outside smoking to the owner while 2 new cars who arrived AFTER me got serviced so I left. All I needed was an inspection sticker.
We can't say enough good about this business! We were traveling to North Carolina when we had a serious issue with our back brakes. Love's truck stop recommended we go to Swan's. It was 4:10 on a Friday afternoon. They invited us to come into the air-conditioned waiting room along with our big dog, while John looked to see what the problem was. He ordered the part we needed, repaired the brakes, and had us back on the road before 5:00. We live in Ohio, but if we lived anywhere near this repair shop, it would be our go-to for sure! Truly exceptional service experience. I had a tire blow out on I-77. Jilanna was friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I only wish I lived a little closer so that I could make them my regular tire shop!

Me and my family were heading back from our trip to Myrtle Beach when our tire started to show a leak. We pulled off to a gas station and discovered that we had picked something up from the road and needed a patch. We were incredibly nervous. We were 2 hours from our hotel, and had been on the road for nearly 8 hours that day with 5 year old twin boys.
Luckily we found that we were only 6 minutes away from Swanns. I called them up and they told me they had an open bay. We had our tire fixed and we were back on the road inside of an hour. Jill and her staff were incredible through the whole process. I couldn’t believe how our luck had turned. What started as a severe moment of panic and anxiety, turned into a lesson of compassion and kindness I will be able to teach to my sons forever.
I am sad that all I can do to thank these kind people is write this glowing review. But to Jill and her staff, I say thank you so much for helping out a family of strangers in a dire situation.
My wife had a blowout today on her way to Charleston ended up being close to Ripley we replaced the tire, along with the other three, at this shop and got an alignment done. The end Bill ended up being much cheaper than it would have been around our home and it was done very fast and efficiently. Great tires, Great service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! These ladies and gentlemen saved our whole day and road trip, we blew a tire halfway from north carolina to Michigan, little beautiful town in West Virginia, they were the only place with the size tires we needed, handled us very professionally and courteous towards my father and myself , they got us right in and had us on our way. I would give 100+ stars if I could!! I've never written a google review, but this place deserves it and so much more. I was in the middle of a 12 hour drive when an oil change light came on in my car. I just got an oil change around a month ago at this point, so of course I was worried there was a leak or something wrong with my car... and I still had 4 hours of the drive left. Thankfully I was close to Swanns, so I called immediately to explain my situation. Jill Ann answered the phone, assured me everything was going to be alright, calmed me down, and told me to come in and they would be there waiting for me. I was only 10 minutes away, and as soon as I pulled in, I gave my keys to Jill and she drove my car into the shop. Not only did they check to make sure my oil was okay ( light was a false alarm - oil change place forgot to reset light) , but they also lifted my car up to ensure the bottom of my car was okay too. The team at Swanns worked hard, fast, and diligently to make sure my car was safe, but also to make sure I could get back on the road asap to finish my drive. There were people in the waiting room, but I was out within 10 minutes. I felt so safe driving , and got to my destination comfortably! I couldn't recommend this place enough, and will be forever thankful!!
I was traveling for work and discovered I had a nail in my tire. I did a Google search to locate a tire shop in the area and called Swann’s based on the reviews. I explained my situation to the lady who answered the phone, and she was so kind and told me to come on in and they would get me fixed up. When I arrived, she was even friendlier in person. I waited in the lobby area while my tire got fixed and the lobby was clean and comfortable. I was in and out within 30 minutes and the rates were more than reasonable!! If you need a tire shop in the Ripley area, I highly recommend Swann’s!!
Went for an oil change and inspection sticker. Within 5 minutes of being there I’m told it won’t pass inspection unless I get new front tires. Mind you those tires weren’t even a year old, I knew the tread was getting low but there was still visible tread on them. So I agree to the cheapest ones I can get, they do the oil change and tires. When I go to pay I’m told they still can’t pass it because my front bumper cover is broken. I hit a raccoon a few months ago and the bumper cover is a little messed up but there’s no mechanical damage. I understand if that won’t allow the car to pass but why wait until you squeezed another service out of me (that I probably didn’t need) and tell me that’s the only thing I need to get an inspection sticker only to wait until I’m ready to pay and tell me you still can’t do the sticker. Super shady and unprofessional. I wouldn’t have gotten new tires if I knew it wasn’t going to pass inspection anyway. There really was nothing wrong with the old ones. They were literally replaced before I bought the car not even a year ago. But instead of being upfront from the start they scanned me into getting another service and still didn’t pass it.
Simply put, these guys are terrific! I was in a tough spot the other day - got a flat tire while on my way to North Carolina and had no spare (small sports cars don't have a spare tire). Even though Swann's didn't have my exact tire size in stock, they looked around & found a solution that got me back on the road in no time flat. Friendly, competent, and all at a very fair price. I'd recommend Swann's to anyone.
I don't understand some of the negative reviews, I haven't been in town 4 weeks still don't know anyone and the people at Swann's took care of me instantly with great personality.
Not only that but having been a mechanic for the past 9 years I can tell you it's a great crew full of knowledgeable people.

Sharing our positive review as well. We got a slow leak in our tire on the second day of our trip from Florida to Ohio. They got us in immediately and took a look. All the employees we spoke with were very nice and extremely helpful. They even went out of their way to fix something else. They let us know our options and there was no pressure. The other customers in the store were also extremely nice and entertained our 3 & 5 year olds. Couldnt have asked for a better place to have to stop.
We were traveling and became stranded with a flat tire. Everyone at Swann’s were fantastic. We ended up getting 4 new tires at a great price! Got us in fast and back on the road in under an hour. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Need 6 stars. Highly recommend!
The owner and her father are so friendly and such wonderful people. My husband and I took a trip to West Virginia from Texas. On our journey back home to Texas, we had a low tire. They were so nice and friendly. They gave us a free tire repair. The tire technician was also very friendly and nice to us. Thank you so much for your service. The people in West Virginia are all very friendly. We did not have any bad experiences.
Julie Swann was really great. Took a next day appointment and pricing was really good for a balance and alignment. She even said to let her know if mom ever needed help just let her know. They'd take care if her. Wish we had a business like hers back home where I am.
