I ran out of fuel the other day and Kevin came out to drop some off. Both dispatch and him called to ask where I was and wether I needed diesel or gas, and he drove with me to make sure I made it to the gas station. Very polite the whole time and arrived very quickly. Couldn't have asked for a better driver.
Rick did a hell of a job. He took great care of me from Virginia to Maryland. He’s a real great guy. He represents the company. Well, I will use them anytime.??? Oh
I recently had to utilize Elite services. I had accidentally locked my keys inside my vehicle and required their assistance. Kevin promptly arrived to help, despite the cold weather. Although the situation presented a slight challenge, he skillfully managed to retrieve my keys. He demonstrated both friendliness and professionalism throughout the process. I will certainly recommend and use their services again. Thank you, Kevin!
Elite was the company of choice through AAA and I am glad they were. AAA told us an hour and Kevin called and showed up within 30 minutes. He got our truck loaded and headed to our shop of choice for what I thought would be quick service(valvoline) but Kevin didn’t give me the warm and fuzzies with choosing them. Anyway he towed us there at our request and luckily they said they couldn’t fix our belt (serpentine belt but also ended up needing idler pulley) without thinking twice Kevin told us he would tow us down the street to a good shop. When we pulled in he went in and talked to them and they got us taken care of. Grateful for Kevin’s recommendation and also for Valvoline not being able to change a belt because I don’t think it would have ended well.
I cannot Thank Kevin enough for his amazing recovery today, I was only a few inches from hitting a tree when my vehicle couldn’t make it up a steep driveway and the car slid down the snowy driveway. My friend Miquel got an Uber to come and help me, we tried everything, we couldn’t get it moved. I called AAA, Kevin arrived within half an hour.
He did something my friend & I have never seen. To keep my car from hitting the tree, Kevin put straps through my rims and used cables with a wench to pull my car safely away from the tree. We were in awe of what he was able to do.

Highly recommend! I cannot say enough positive remarks about my towing experience with this company! Kevin is an angel and he rescued me on the side of Route 9 on New Year's Eve when I broke down at night. Considering it was a holiday, I was not expecting such a quick response, but as soon as he contacted me I was at ease. His calm voice was so reassuring in such an uncomfortable scenario and he was already heading my way. Kevin was beyond professional and took great care of my vehicle, which has previously been damaged from towing so I really do appreciate it! He went above and beyond looking out for my safety and recommending good car shops in the area, even taking a look at it himself to help me out. Such a wonderful experience, thank you Kevin!!
Was VERY pleased with my experience. Dispatch was very kind on the phone and I received a call from the driver Quickly after I called Dispatch. Our truck had a dead battery. They were able to provide good and honest feedback. We decided to replace the battery with Elite on site. It was done quickly. We will use this company again, if the need arises.
Hands down the best tow truck experience I had. My car was not working right, called AAA and they sent Elite Towing said it would be an hour and within 20 minutes Rick was there. He was on his way back when he got the call and turned around to get me. I highly recommend Elite Towing. 5 stars isn't enough. ?
Kevin from Elite was the patient and kind soul who helped us out today. He didn’t have to but in addition to helping us, he helped an Amazon driver navigate their van off the same icy little hill I’d become stuck on. Despite her concerns, the driver’s boss was telling her to proceed on the route with the deliveries. So the driver obliged ((it *is* a long way around and this was right before Elite showed up so she was lucky to have reasonable guidance!) After Kevin helped her navigate to safety without any sliding or spinning in the dry snow and slick ice, she parked and he calmly explained to her boss why their orders for her to drive on the ice were unadvised. Then he turned his attention to us and was calm, rational, and receptive to the scene. He got us out of there in as efficiently and gently a way as one can in such conditions. Thank you for helping my dad and I out; I know it’s yet another avoidable little vehicle mishap in the miserable cold so bless you all the more for coming out and the heart and soul you left in your brief work with us. I’ve had services From Elite before, couple years back, and the person who came out was also quite patient and helpful. Thanks, Elite! Thank you, Kevin! ?? Bless up.
Blown tyre on the side of the road in an unfamiliar location when traveling around West Virginia, tow dispatched via VW, friendly driver arrived in 20 minutes and brought us and the car safely to Sterling. Great service overall
Kevin was my technician and he was wonderful! He was here in less than 20 minutes and unlocked my car door in 10 seconds. Great service, highly recommend.
Hands down best tow experience I’ve ever had! My car wouldn’t start, I had just left Target, tow truck was there within the hour! Rick (the driver) let me know he believed it was my battery and referred me to a local shop where I went and got really great service. I had to call Elite again to give me a jump this morning (my fault) and they were out within an hour once again. The driver Dakota was so friendly and his customer service skills were TOP TIER! No one wants to have car trouble but if you ever do you can rest assured Elite has your back!
Five stars isn't enough, it would be five stars plus one. This company was excellent to work with, right from the start the woman on the phone was great, my driver had the best attitude friendly and very professional the drop off went perfect, I could not have asked for more friendlier and Kinder man to help me with my situation. I wish I had gotten his name, he deserves five stars plus one I would definitely highly recommend this company. And I can't thank you enough for this wonderful service

I was going to give this company a glowing review. After the conversation I just had, that’s no longer the case.
Let me start by saying — the gentlemen who came to help me that night were great. Truly. That’s where the positives end.
My bumper was damaged during the tow. I called today to see what could be done about it. For context, I’ve worked in the auto industry for 15 years, many of those with a tow company based out of Virginia. So, I’m very familiar with standard towing procedures and responsibilities.
I was told the company isn’t responsible for the damage because it was a “recovery.” Cinematic pause. Recovery. I was barely down a small hill just off I-81 — not in a ditch, not on uneven ground. The guys were professional, but I did notice the tow strap was looped around my bumper at one point. Another driver actually caught it and readjusted it before more damage occurred. When the car was dropped off at my house, the driver acknowledged the bumper damage and said he’d document it. Document it for what, exactly? So the office could later tell me they aren’t responsible?
Even in a “recovery,” they still have a legal duty to care. That’s just basic industry standard. I hadn’t planned on filing an insurance claim because my car was undamaged before this tow — but now, I guess that’s the next step.
This could have easily been a 5-star review if the company had better business practices and accountability. The cherry on top was being told, “We gave you a discount — we didn’t even charge you what we should have.” Honey, I didn’t ask for a discount. While I appreciated the original fee, I would’ve gladly paid full price for good service handled responsibly.
I know how stressful towing can be — I’ve been there. But professionalism and integrity still matter. Do better, guys.
100% satisfied with this company. I've used them before and needed them again today, this time to tow my vehicle two states away. The process was super easy over the phone (I'm not sure the lady's name but she was very patient with me trying to get a hold of payment information as I didn't have my wallet) and Bill was my tow driver, I have a ton of good to say about him and he was the most easy going person. These are some lovely employees who seem to care. Thank you again!

Elite towing has helped us a couple times now, but I feel the need to give a special thank you to one of your employees, possibly Rick? About a week ago, my car battery died in middle of traffic at Walmart Hammonds Mill Rd. Your employee was off duty, but still in uniform, and asked if we needed help. Many nice people helped us that day, and I’m so grateful! But your employee was most helpful , caring, and knowledgeable, and gave his own time to help us. He was the only one able to get my car into neutral, and get the E-brake off, with a dead battery, so we push the car out of traffic into a parking spot. Thank you so much!!!
Our car was stuck in deep mud, and other tow company's denied us service, but Elite Towing and Recovers saved out butt's!! They gave us a good price, and they were super polite and helpful! They didn't give up on us. I would recommend them to anybody in a tough situation!
I HIGHlY recommend Elite Towing and Recovery! I had to get my truck towed this week due to a part breaking and it not being safe to drive. They were 100% transparent about the time they showed up. They even called 15 minutes prior to showing up. Rick is who towed my truck was professional, answered my questions, and asked appropriate questions about the drop off location, and he also got my truck to the shop in a timely manner.
My Driveshaft went and the rear locked up. The Experience I had getting my 2003 Ram towed by Elite was a great one. My truck has a 6 inch lift and full-size bed with big tires and he had no issue getting it up and towed along with treating me and my property with respect. I’ve lived in this area for almost 30 years and have had about 20 tows and Elite comes through in every way. I would recommend them first to anyone who needs a Tow or their many other services they provide. Thank you again!!!
It’s been said that one happy customer is worth more than $10,000 of advertising. In this case, I wonder what deficit may result from one unhappy customer. Our expectations of satisfactory service were unfortunately not met, and subsequent interactions with Elite Towing & Recovery did not improve our impression of the company.
Here are a few of the ways in which we were disappointed and our own business was negatively impacted:
Misleading Assurances: When I called to request towing services, I specifically inquired about the compatibility of my 10-foot tall work van. The dispatcher assured me that this height was acceptable and scheduled the tow service.
Driver Ignored Concerns: Upon arrival, the driver again questioned the height of my vehicle and expressed concerns. Despite these hesitations, the driver proceeded with the tow, indicating that everything was fine.
Severe Damage: During the tow, my vehicle's ladder rack and stabilizer were significantly damaged. The images show the extent of the damage caused by their service.
Costly Repairs and Safety Issues: The damaged components are crucial for the safe operation of my business. Repairing this damage will incur substantial costs, as verified by the original installer.
As a business owner myself, I understand the necessity to treat each customer as a valuable part of my business and not to see them just as money to be made. I was in a position where my business was being affected and I trusted Elite to take my problem seriously.
When I initially reached out to Elite after the equipment was damaged, my concern was labeled as “outrageous” and I was dismissed with a pandering acquiescence to replace only part of what was damaged by their team.
If you are a business owner with specialized equipment, I would avoid using this service, as their lack of empathy and interest in their customers belies any claim of professionalism. One happy customer would have been able to happily recommend this service to others in need; unfortunately, all they have now is one very unhappy past client.
Jarrett from Elite Towing was a lifesaver. He was super nice, professional, and diligent. I locked my keys in the trunk of my Toyota Camry 5 hours from home. When he unlocked my car, it still wouldn't allow me to unlock the trunk due to the alarm going off on the vehicle, setting off the security, and disabling my trunk button from the inside. My seats only allowed me to fold them down by pulling the release button, which is unfortunately in the trunk that was still locked. I learned another way to unlock my truck to access my keys and he had the tools to get the job done and stayed to make sure he put everything back together correctly even when I told him it was fine the way it was and I could fix it later with my husband. I am super extremely grateful for this company and Jarrett for his excellent customer service, I feel like he went above and beyond. Thank you for caring and being so diligent during this stressful situation.
Elite Towing is very professional, dependable, and comforting. I was kept up-to-date throughout the entire process as to ETA, etc. The driver, Ken, was wonderful. He was respectful and careful of the car and I received a picture showing the car was at its destination. Sandy from the office also kept me informed of the progress as to when Ken would be arriving. I would not hesitate using Elite Towing again (though hopefully will not need their services).
My car had issues in WVA and I needed a tow back to VA. I was put in touch with Elite Towing. I was given a wait time of an hour and an half and to my surprise they were there in 30 minutes. Ken is the nicest. He made sure I was in the truck and completely comfortable before tending to my car. He moved fast and efficiently. The drive back was full of conversation and laughs. Everything about this process was smooth and easy. I would definitely use them again if needed!
Ken with Elite was great! It was a cold rainy night and not only did he come assist with towing our car to the dealership late at night but he was willing to help when his shift was over. After he picked up our vehicle, he drove it to the dealer, put the key in the drop box, filled out the form, sent a text and pictures to let me know vehicle was dropped off and ready to go. I am grateful for the help! I would definitely call them again!
