I give 5 stars in advance if like to ask If Pacific accepts small quantities like about 60 pounds of aluminum and about 30 pounds of copper wire for my home or just commercial use
I have done business with them since 2008 I've sold precious metal many times and I will only sell to them... They are Honest & Great customer service they give you that current days price per oz or gm of preciousI metal. In business since 1917 I tell everyone I know how good you are bcuz I appreciate your longtime honest Business.

Walked into the office with my material and show them my material and asked for a quote they gave me a quote 85 cents a pound and gave me once I unloaded and weighed my material and got to the counter to be paid a different guy came out and said the other guy that was helping me disappeared he went out and looked at my material and set my materials were 60 cents less then the original quoted price and caught an attitude and start talking about race subjects will never go there again worst ever
I have had nothing but good experiences with these folks. They recently stopped taking precious metals from general public. This was very disappointing and inconvenient for me because it's hard for me to know if I can trust the other recyclers. I hope that the owners reconsider this decision.
Every business has their good and bad days, but beyond that there's a culture that permeates. I fancy myself a keen judge of the latter, and from my experience I give these folks five stars for friendliness, cleanliness, professionalism (an effort to treat customers as if they're valued), and for fair deal making. This was in stark contrast to other scrap yards I've dealt with in Seattle so I applaud their obvious effort to stand above in what must be a tough business to please it's customers considering the range of people's expectaions for what they think their materials should be worth. Lady in the front to check scrap quality is too crabby I don’t like doing business with people who seem like they don’t want my business I’ve tried multiple times to see if she just having a bad day but she’s just plain rude I would recommend taking her out of the customer service area if she doesn’t like certain peoples until then I’m taking all business to the other locations
These guys are the BEST! I work for a CNC machine shop and have been using these guys for 20+ years. The customer service is second to none. I had an issue where I was out of bins to dump my chips in and these guys drove out in a pickup truck with a trailer to swap out bins for me the same day! Couldn't ask for better service! Much Appreciated!
Hard to believe they have such good reviews? We came to sell some copper and some silver jewelry. We stopped and started to eat our meal before we went in. A lady immediately came by and asked very rudely if she could help us ans if we were actually gonna do business there. Then a short time later a male comes out with a baseball bat threatingly telling my pregnant girlfriend who was driving we were parked in the wrong spot. Even though a sign 2 feet in front of out car said customer parking. We pointed that out and he said that was for fabric not metal. We apologized and said we didn't know. When my gf asked why he was pointing a bat at her when we didn't know and couldn't have. He said to leave and he didn't need her attitude. We called the police. The office lied about the bat they came out with and said we refused to repark. The police informed us that the business can trespass us for no reason. Refused to look at the video on premise where he did threaten us unprovoked. And jus asked us to take our business elsewhere because this place has a lot of problems with the homeless. SO WE WERE PROFILED, THREATENED BECAUSE OF A STEREOTYPE, AND THEN REFUSED ANY FUTURE SERVICE BECAUSE WE CALLED THE POLICE TO REPORT THEM FOR UNPROVOKED HARASSMENT AND THREATS OF VIOLENCE. i wish i could do more than leave a one star review and why the police refused to look at the businesses cameras to investigate our claims is beyond me and a separate issue. This place deserves NO BUSINESS WHAT SO EVER! Seriously take your scrap to west seattle recycling. Night and day how much better we were treated there!
This place is a rip off I brought copper tubing#2 they give me copper wire price I bring brass and copper mix they give me a different catagorie that has a lower price and for a car battery they give 1.48 you can get 10 to 15 at pick n pull
Went there a couple of weeks ago.. Super friendly service ..great people.. They were honest about what I really had and I'm very satisfied.. I'd recommend this company to anyone Thank you Pac Iron & metal
Someone broke in my car stole a check for 96.00 dollars from them. Then I call to get help n they want to take 35.00 dollars from the check to stop payment. So i get ripped off n have to pay a fee. Man wish they dealt in cash so I didn’t have to wait to deposit a check over a holiday
Best all around scrap yard offering some of the best prices for your scrap, and precious metals, not to mention they have some of the friendliest and most helpful friggin' employees in the Greater Seattle area, definitely a scrap yard worth checking out! But note, they DON'T have a precious metal buyer employed any longer on Saturdays, but my fault for just browsing the comments and not calling ahead, !
the lady who wrote my ticket just ripped me off. my bucket of #2 copper on the scale clearly said 26 pounds and i got paid with a receite for only 15 pounds. i was turning in with my freind so i wasnt able to go back and say my peice but i wont b going back- owner is now clearly a liar because as i said, i was paid, but incorrectly...good luck with your rude and shady business
Showed up and unloaded in a not so timely fashion. Nobody seemed to mind or get upset that I was a tad unprepared. Had multiple metal bins that were seperated out which took a little time. Every price was just as quoted and the staff were more than helpful. The counter guy was pretty rad and helpful. Worked with us on a couple of pieces that were up in the air. All in all my father in law and I were more than pleased and although it takes an hour to get there we will certainly be coming back everytime we have the need. Top notch guys, keep it up

I called for a service they don't provide. Needed a car junked, and they went out of their way to refer me to other places in the area where my car was broken down. Great customer service. I'm really not usually impressed, but flawless performance guys.

Definitely the highest price in town with excellent service i.e. even though I know almost nothing about the finer points of "grading" the non-ferrous metals brought in I didn't feel like an idiot. Instead I was treated politely and helpfully. Thanks, guys!
I have not been there but the guy on the phone when i called was VERY NICE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY WELL ..ALSO GAVE ME HIGEST PRICES QUOTES COMPARE TO OTHERS ..IM IMPRESSED BY THIS PLACE SO FAR
I have been coming to Pacific Iron frequently for the last month or so and have been thoroughly impressedc. Great customer service, great prices, great expereince. These guys go out of their way to help their customers and it really shows, I highly recommend Pacific Iron to anyone looking to scrap metal.
Called in and got a quote for scrap over the phone. Showed up later that day and they shorted me over 40 cents a pound from what they had told me earlier. Will not be a repeat customer.
