Good spot and Ryan is a great guy. Only bad thing I have to say is they like closing the shop within the last hour of operation listed. So just act like they close at 3:30pm and you'll be all good!

I recycled a bunch of clean aluminum here on Monday, not aluminum can , but aluminum stock etc. I am not sure I trust the weight they said. They are absolutely not honest when it came to paying a proper price per pound! They paid 20 cents a pound! I recycled more of the same today at a location by my house they paid 36 cents per pound! Obviously there is no integrity at this business! I expect the owner to pay me the difference as I believe the 36 cents is the going rate. I will be calling the business on monday and then BBB if I do not get the proper response Thanks

I was doing a radio project at home and needed some copper wire of different gauge. It was my first time at this scrap yard and I was impressed with the selection and ended up getting more than what I initially thought I needed. Everyone was super helpful as the guys showed me around and helped me to fetch a longer thick wire and find other odd items. They also have long cuts of new CAT5,6 networking cable, something I didn't expect, but will keep in mind for the future. The price I paid was great too. Super happy, will be coming back!

I went here today 30 mins before closing towing a 37 ft. Flatbed full of random unsorted metal junk and a mini rubbermaid shed full to the top of what i thought to be electronic and copper recycle scrap. The guys there were super helpful, patient, and informative. I should have known better than to think all the dvd players and speaker boxs and lamps were not elecrrical scrapor copper because theyre made primarily from steel and plastic. The manager brought me bins and allowedd me to cut off as much cords and wire as i could, even helped me do it and sort some himself and explained the requirments and guidlines for non ferrous metal recycling. In the end what i had was the lowest grade wire and fetched 40 cents a pound. But since i really didnt have too much, he bumped me up to the maximum cash payout limit they have of 30 dollars(anything over that they write you a check) which bumped me up to 60 cents per pound!! Thats a signifigant increase for a buisness who had no real incentive to do so especially for the lowest grade material at low weight and within minuetes of closing. He then stopped traffic on HWY 99 so i could more easily back out and get on my way.... Super cool guys, great customer service, and very ethical. An all around top notch buisness. Will be going back tomarrow, this time prepared with sorted bundles and I may purchase some steel they have for sale as well.

I bought some old brass instruments from them that they posted on offer up. While I was there I fell in love with some antique roller skates that West gave me a great price on. Just walking around got my creativity going. This place is a scrap metal paradise. I must go back soon!

These guys rock. Friendly, honest and hardworking. They’re on the smaller side but we’re super lucky to have them in the neighborhood. Easy to find. Last time I was there I took home two antique tractor wheels for my garden. Got a nice deal on them. Have my eye on some aluminum diamond plate for a shed I’m building in the back yard. Recycle and reuse!!! There’s the Seattle spirit for ya.Great for makers and treasure hunters and recyclers. The market is tricky (and political) for selling salvaged metals. Call ahead to get the info you need.

Wes Richards makes deals and then claims ignorance. Stay away from this place unless you want to get screwed over.

You are better off taking your metal to the transfer station in Fremont where they won't try to charge you for dropping off recyclable metal. I don't recommend this place.

These guys are paying $0.50 LESS per pound of copper than other yards in the area! I really didn't think I had to worry about being low-balled by Northwest Metals, but now I'm really wishing I'd been more suspicious.
