Came in today with flat tire. Will almost immediately diagnosed a small nail and plugged it up just like that!!!! And no charge for the service. I love this place!!!

I brought my car in for an inspection due to a towing-related concern, and Will took the time to thoroughly check everything, explain what he was looking for, and answer my questions clearly and honestly. His knowledge was immediately evident, and he was patient, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process.
What really stood out was his generosity—he didn’t charge me anything for the inspection. That level of integrity and customer care is rare and says a lot about both Will and the shop as a whole.

This shop is truly the best!!! I went in to get a car inspection prior to a lengthy road trip, just to make sure fluid levels, tires, etc. were good (I usually get my state safety inspection here regularly because they're in my neighborhood) and knew I could trust them. They went over everything, topped off fluids, filled my two back tires with air and even replaced my windshield wiper. When I went to pick up my car, they told me there was no charge, even when I offered. I'm ever so grateful for my neighborhood mechanics for giving me peace of mind before my trip!! Thank you all so much!

Wish I could give more stars. Will and the team are fantastic and extremely helpful. I came for an inspection. They answered my questions, took me right in, and were even able to change the wiper blades on a car I would usually have to go to the dealership for. I highly recommend and will now be a customer for life!
Overall, I had a great experience at the 2300 Columbia Pike location. My car needed an oil change, as well as a couple of other repairs. Everything was done in one day in an efficient manner. I have gone to Metro Motor's Washington Boulevard location, in the past, for a vehicle inspection and general maintenance, and am vary happy with the services provided at both locations.
I've used this Metro Motor several times and always had a great experience. My latest trip there was this morning when I discovered a nail in my tire that was causing low tire pressure. I took it straight to Metro Motor, and the service manager, Will Alvarez, told me he could fix it quickly, and he did just that - took the keys, checked out the tire, removed the nail and patched it up, then restored the proper tire pressure to match the other tires. When he came back after less than 15 minutes, I asked "how much" and he said it was free - incredible how quickly he got me fixed up and on my way to work, and for no cost at that. Thank you Will! I thoroughly recommend this Metro Motor, easy 5-star review.
NOVEMBER 2025 Metro Motors saves the day again! This time my son needed his alternator replaced ASAP. Will and the MM Crew came to the rescue. Customer service once again was above and beyond. Needing emissions and safety inspections on my vehicle, and having been referred by another service shop, I arriving not long before end of scheduled hours on Saturday afternoon. I was promptly greeted when I pulled in, and both inspections commenced without delay. The staff and manager were courteous and professional.
Will was very helpful and got my two inspections sorted quickly and conveniently. I was able to leave my car with them, do some errands, go for a really nice walk around the neighborhood. I got my call about 45 minutes later and found my car waiting out front, and Will even offered me a free beverage. It was $50 for both inspections.
I’m not much of a “reviewer” but I have to give them a shout out..I’ve been using Metro Motor for many years and it is consistently excellent service - they figure out how to solve the issues, they are proactive about getting things handled + most importantly to me they are go above and beyond in excellent customer service - professional, friendly and generous. I got work done on my car a few weeks ago. I just took it to another garage to fix some issues.
It turns out that Metro Motor did not fix the issue that they charged me for. What they claimed they fixed vs what they actually did were two different things and I ended up paying 2 times more than I should have.
I recommend not taking your car here unless there's an emergency. They're not very honest about what they do and how much they charge.
Will & His Mechanic Team are simply the best. Needed brakes and tires and some filter work done on my car, Will had the parts ordered and was able to deliver the car back the same day! Thank you guys for keeping me and my family safe! Definitely check these guys out.
I have used Metro Mart twice now for oil changes, inspection, tire replacement, and basic service issues like replacing lights. Marty helped me the first time but has since moved to the Bethesda location, and Guillermo helped me this last weekend. Both were excellent to work with. The prices are fair, the communication is great, and the flexibility to pick up my car until a part came in and bring it back in at my convenience was helpful. I recommend them every time someone asks for an auto shop.
I came to get a safety inspection which I failed. The inspector did not mark my sticker so I received a ticket for it. I had to return twice because he wasn’t around to fix it. I didn’t notice until later that he marked it as failed for days before my actual inspection was done, which gives me less time to fix the issues. There was 0 accountability or care for their mistakes. Overall just very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, procedure and attitude. 0/5

Today I ran over a nail and my tire indicator light came on. I went to a repair shop closer to where I was, and they wouldn't even look at it, and told me I had to make an appointment. I turned around to drive back home and instead called Metro Motor, and they said come on over and we will take care of it for you! They fixed it immediately and sent me on my way! I really appreciate service manager Will A. Thank you!
I came here for an oil change. I was met with excellent service. Caleb was super professional and kind. He offered to drive me to and from somewhere while I wait for the service. They set my expectations appropriately low for how long it'll take and then exceeded them -- my car was done within an hour or two.
I’ve been going to Metro Motor for years, and Caleb is hands down the best service manager I’ve ever had. Even though he’s new, he’s already raised the bar. He kept me updated with phone calls while my car was being repaired, offered me a ride when I dropped it off, and even offered me a drink when I came in to pay. He was smiling the whole time and even walked me to my car to make sure everything was good. Caleb truly cares about his customers — I hope he stays for the long run. Metro Motor is lucky to have him!

This service center is one of the best that I have found, and it’s a very short distance from my home. Staff is always extremely friendly, and now that Metro Motors has taken over management and ownership, the service remains excellent! I recently had service done and a very fair price, and am very happy with their work . I can honestly say that this is one of those service stations/gas stations that provides superior service to their customers.
I came to this place to get my annual inspection and emissions testing done. I was able to drive in to the lot and walk in and was greeted instantly by the staff. I signed in saying I needed an inspection and emissions test and they gladly assisted. They took my keys and said it won't take too long. (fortunately I arrived when there was only one car in front of me). And they were right, about 30 minutes later the inspection was done. They did call while I was waiting to let me know some things that would fail if they didn't get fixed and gave me the cost. They also didn't say anything about me having to do it with them, they were just informing me. And of course, I was happy to have them fix it as the cost was well within reason. The staff behind the counter was also super friendly and helpful as well. And the waiting area is also relatively nice with plenty of snacks and drinks for purchase. I will definitely be going back to this place every time I need to get my car inspected now. Cannot recommend enough!
I had to review this place. I reside in Maryland and come here for my car service needs. I know, I will get one of the best prices, superb service, exceptional quality work, and the customer service (see Ricardo) is magnificent. He communicates with you to explain what options you have (if any) and spot on estimate, I have yet to experience any surprise charges. They set realistic timelines (the car is typically ready before the expected time) and if you are short on time, they really try to help and work with you. For being a 3 bay facility, they definitely have qualified mechanics to get the job done just like the dealerships with multiple bays. They are dependable and they communicate with the customer on a professional level. You will leave here a happy and returning customer!
