What clients say about Arlington Collision Center in Arlington (VA)

Arlington Collision Center did an outstanding job repairing my vehicle and kept me informed every step of the way. Five stars truly aren’t enough for everything they endured from my insurance provider during the process. Through it all, the team remained professional, patient, and kind. I genuinely appreciate their dedication and highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of quality, reliable vehicle repairs.

I am extremely disappointed in these people. Not to long ago I’ve been wanting to get my car fix and I ended up having a $2000 deductible, which I’m not able to afford at the moment due to the cost of living today. I’ve asked plenty of times to see if they can help set up a payment plan and they refuse and said that they don’t work with that. It is extremely frustrated because I want to get my car fixed, but they’re not willing to help me out with the payment plan so I have no way to fix my car now and that is why car insurance is pretty useless because here you are paying every month and now you have to pay a high deductible just to get your car fixed. All they do is care about money.

They were extremely professional. They fixed my bumper and did a great job. I highly recommend them for their kindness and professionalism.

Car was returned with a safety hazard and I was not told. The detail crew ripped my floor mat from the hooks. I was not told of the damage.

The Arlington Collision Center does fantastic work. I could not believe how gorgeous my car was when I got it back. They were very thorough; it was perfect. The customer service is excellent as well.

I have a 2024 Mustang Mach-E, and was rear-ended about a month ago. I was referred here after Caliber Collision turned down the job. Arlington Collision Center replaced the bumper/trunk and returned my vehicle 7 days ahead of schedule. Looks and drives like when I first bought it. There are some reviews mentioning items being stolen or cars being taken for joyrides. I obviously can't speak to the veracity of other peoples' stories, but neither of those happened with my vehicle.

The rear door handle on my 2013 Camry came off in my hand while opening the door. Arlington Collision quoted a price which included a $96 part. It couldn’t be determined if the part was needed until they began the replacement. The total time to fix the problem was less that an hour and the $96 part was not needed. I thought that was very honest and they charged $96 less than the estimate. They were easy to work with and very honest and did wonderful work.

Military/USAA Members Beware – Frustrating Experience at Arlington Collision Center As a USAA member and military veteran, I want to warn others about my disappointing experience with Arlington Collision Center and USAA’s referral process. I dropped my vehicle off for repairs on June 2, 2025, based on Arlington Collision’s confirmation that they were ready to begin work. The USAA adjuster told me repairs would take 10 to 14 days, so I arranged a rental car through Enterprise, expecting to be covered for about 10 days under my policy’s $600 rental limit. On June 4, I received a repair update stating the car wouldn't be ready until June 20—much later than expected. I called the shop and was told my vehicle was still on track for a June 12 completion, and I would be contacted if there were any delays or parts needed. No such notification came. Then on June 9, I was informed again the car wouldn’t be ready until June 20. When I called for clarity, I was told the person who gave me the June 12 date “must have been looking at the wrong file.” That’s hard to believe, especially since I confirmed my name and vehicle during the earlier call. Unless there’s another customer with the exact same name and car, I find that explanation highly questionable. No one mentioned any issues with parts or complications—just that they had “a lot of cars.” If they weren’t ready to do the work, they shouldn’t have taken the car in or given me misleading timelines. Now I’m stuck returning my rental by June 11, out of coverage, and without transportation for over a week—all due to poor communication and mismanagement by Arlington Collision. This is unacceptable. To make things worse, I later checked their Google rating: 3.915—below average for a DC-area repair shop. Frankly, I expected better from a USAA-recommended provider. In hindsight, I deeply regret not researching this shop sooner. This experience has left me not only frustrated but also questioning USAA’s referral standards. I hope USAA will review their relationship with this shop and take steps to ensure other members don’t face similar headaches.

Warning: Repeated Delays & Lack of Due Diligence – Especially for Undercarriage/Bumper Repairs I'm writing this review to share my extremely frustrating experience with Arlington Collision Center. My vehicle has been with them since mid-May for what should have been a relatively straightforward repair involving slight undercarriage damage and a bumper replacement. However, the process has been plagued by significant and avoidable delays. Initially, I was told the repair would take about a week. Yet, it seems there's a serious lack of proactive assessment and due diligence when ordering parts, particularly for more comprehensive jobs like mine. My repair has been stalled multiple times because essential components, such as a crucial bumper bracket, were not identified and ordered upfront. This has led to repeated discoveries of "missing" parts during reassembly, which suggests a "learning as they go" approach rather than thorough pre-planning. This recurring issue is especially concerning given the number of EVs I've observed sitting in their lot for extended periods. While they claim to be certified for these complex vehicles, my experience with even a seemingly common repair like a bumper replacement and minor undercarriage work suggests their internal processes lack the necessary attention to detail and efficiency. This could be a major problem for EV owners relying on specialized repairs that require precise part identification. Furthermore, communication has been a major source of frustration. My attempts to address these ongoing delays and concerns have often been met with evasiveness and attempts to deflect blame. This lack of transparency and accountability only adds to the apprehension. If you're considering Arlington Collision Center for repairs, especially for jobs involving undercarriage work or bumper replacements, I strongly advise you to proceed with extreme caution. Be prepared for potential significant delays, poor communication, and a repair process that seems to lack proper upfront planning and part verification. My experience indicates that their "certified" status for certain vehicles doesn't necessarily translate to efficient or well-managed repairs.

I was at your business a moment ago. During the inspection, an employee named Ruben Lopez said he was going to get in the car. Since a section of the side step was broken, I asked him not to step on the broken section, and he said of course I wouldn't step on that section. When he got out of the car, he stepped on the broken section and completely shattered it. I said I told him not to step on it, he didn't even apologize. After getting an estimate inside, I asked his name and said I would write a bad review about him. I said you made the broken section worse. He said I didn't break anything. I asked him, didn't you hear the breaking sound, he said no, he is lying. Then he showed me the door and said have a nice day and kicked me out. This is immoral and one day you'll realize you're working with the wrong person. If you check the photos on your phone before and after getting in the car, you'll see the damage. (Of course, if he didn't delete them) I'll have them replaced, but it was really bad that he damaged my car and behaved so immorally.

Did not have a great experience here. My car was dropped off by a tow truck on Thursday and wasn't given an estimate for 6 days. I called for an update and they told me that walk-ins took priority and tow-ins had to wait, so they did not know when my car would be serviced. When they finally looked at the car, they told me I should just take the car to safelite because it was just glass damage. When I went to pick up the car a random employee was sitting in my car taking a personal call. So not only was there someone random sitting in my car for no professional reason, the car was left unlocked in the parking lot. Would not recommend coming here, especially if your car is being towed in.

Terrible experience. My car has been here now for five weeks. It’s sat for several days. When you call for updates Martin and the Manager respond with annoyance. Zero customer customer, never apologetic or understanding. I mentioned my car has been sitting for two weeks and the manager admitted that cars do unfortunately sit around for days because they have so many cars needing repaired. Then he boldly told me to consider adding the rental car option on my insurance. No, how about you fix my car and return it to me on the timeline which you stated??? Stop accepting cars to fix if you’re overwhelmed and backed up OR be upfront with how long the repairs will actually take so the customer can plan accordingly or use another shop. Take your car elsewhere unless you want to keep calling week after week only to be told “maybe next week”.

Professional and courteous staff. Great workmanship. Delivered the job as promised. Four photos showed the damage and one photo showing the job after ACC were done with it. Like new. After an accident, you don't want any more issues or aggravation so it was nice that this process went smoothly. Thanks, ACC

I had the worst experience in my auto repair life at this place. Cannot recommend them at all. The car took 2-3 weeks longer to repair because the part was never ordered and ultimately the part was never needed for the repair. I was updated repeatedly that the car would be ready on a set date. When I called the day it was supposed to be ready, the manager called me back to explain they essentially forgot about the car. The part was never ordered. He was "sorry" and wanted to make it right. But instead of offering to pay my rental car bill for the extra weeks my car would be in the shop because of their incompetence - his definition of "making it right" was to work to finish the car in just a few more weeks. When I finally picked up my car - the interior was filthy. The manager cleaned it while I waited around. There is still a missing protective film that was supposed to be installed in a few days (which never happened) and my skid plate fell off a few days later. The manager was nice. But clearly they don't have the processes and procedures in place to provide a quality product. And this repair cost me hundreds of dollars more out of my pocket because they didn't do their job

I brought my car to this shop on January 7th for an estimate to repair a driver’s side mirror that was destroyed by a hit and run. Next, I called the shop back and was told it would likely be the following week, and that the mirror housing parts would have to be painted. The following week, no one had called me, and on January 15th I called for a status. None was provided by the receptionist. I called again January 22nd, and I was told they are still waiting to paint the parts. Meanwhile, I am driving a car with no driver side mirror. Later that week, I did receive a call from the receptionist to drop it off, and I drove to the shop on January 23rd. She said, “you can leave it on the 20th.” I said: that was three days ago. How come no one called me then? Another person told me the parts were still not painted. 2 weeks and almost no movement on a fairly small repair. Still, another week went by until the receptionist called me to bring it Monday. I dropped of the car Monday, and was called by the receptionist who said it should be ready tomorrow – Tuesday, January 28th. No one called me on Tuesday, the 28th, so I walked to the shop around 5 pm to pick it up and was told to take a seat. After about 15 minutes, I was told me there was an issue with an electrical part that did not fit, and it would take more time. I said, ok, well, I will take it home tonight, and bring it back Thursday, since I must use it Wednesday. The receptionist asked if I would pay for it now, I said its not done, I pay when its done. She said ok. Then the guy who was supposed to manage this repair confronted me in an antagonistic tone and said: “the car does not leave the shop until you pay the deductible.” I replied but the job is not finished. I already told you I need the car Wednesday, and if its not done I will just bring it back on Thursday. Then he said in a threatening tone: “You can either leave it here and we will let you know when it’s done or pay for it now before you take it.” I asked him why is that the case? I already said I am bringing it back. He then accused me of – his exact words: “Because you might not bring it back!” To which I said: “Why would I do that? I need to get my car repaired. I already said I am bringing it back. I paid, I brought the car back on Thursday, and it was finally completed. Lastly, on February 3rd, I contacted my insurance company, and learned their portion was not paid yet – still pending completion of the work. So, it was clear to me, this guy was not concerned about that, only that I had to pay before the work was completed. Quite horrible customer service, and un-called for behavior. There was no reason to become confrontational, accusatory, make ultimatums, and impugning my integrity, by accusing me of not wanting to pay. As a customer, I am really in disbelief after waiting this long to get my car repaired, and saying nothing about how much time was wasted, driving a car with no mirror, to be talked to in an a disrespectful, insolent, and threatening manner. I don't think I am using this shop if I need another repair.

A few weeks ago someone backed into my 4 month old SUV and caused cosmetic damage. The other party’s insurance told me to go to Arlington Collision Center for an estimate. I did and was met with Martin. He looked over the car and saw a spot I completely missed. I explained I wanted that fixed a long with another spot that someone banged their shopping cart into. So I got 2 estimates. The last week and a half they had the car and got the repairs done. During the time my baby was there I got alerts on the app that my powertrain had an issue. I freaked out and took the short drive to ACC. I saw Martin and explained what happened and I just wanted to make sure the car started and there were no issues (the 2024 have engine issues). Martin saw my concern and we walked to the truck and it started up and the only lights on the dash was cause the bumpers were removed. Today I get the call that my baby was ready to be picked up. I went to pick her up and I saw some marks on the bumper but when I asked for someone to look at it, it was dried up compound and they took care of it real quick. Overall, this business and their employees are great. I was hesitant because of horror stories from different businesses. Not to mention my dad was an auto body tech for decades so I’ve heard his stories. I highly recommend ACC! I don’t want to be back (no one does) but if I had to, I would be back in a heartbeat.

Had my car here twice. Experts, friendly and skilled at what your car needs. Reasonable wait time and the receptionist/secretary keeps you updated on your vehicle. I will not choose any other company to repair damages from someone hitting your car! One stop, this company.

The work itself seems fine, but when we finally received the car, the radio station was changed to a Christian channel and there was a children's toy in the back door. We don't have children. We think they were driving our car. They told me to keep calling if I wanted an update or had questions, when I did, a man on the phone was VERY rude to me. The estimate we were given was 2 or 3 weeks, took more than 8 weeks to get it back. They pushed it back the day before pickup 6 times. Would've picked another place if they gave us an 8+ week estimate. Out -2k in rental car costs because of all this. Don't take your car here.

Awful service. The repair took way longer than expected. First they said would take 2.5 weeks, then another week got added!! They didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know in advance. On the pick up day, I called just to confirm the car was ready before leaving my house and got the surprise that the car wasn’t ready. On top of that, I talked to Jeff to let him know this was unacceptable and the lack of communication a problem, and he hung up on me. I would give them zero stars, but not an option.

Repair took longer than expected, but I was patient with them. Finally get to the store and they lost my keys. They made me a new one the following Monday and gave me a discount to help rectify the situation. While they need to get better with organization, they are good people.

Took them almost 5 months to fix my car. They took like 3 weeks of vacations in between and had a waiting time of around a month. Didn’t tell me any of this until my car had been there for two months. They replaced the entire front bumper and hood of the car, and side panels. The car sounds like it’s grasping the doors against the panels. Fog lights aren’t working and they didn’t even knew how to properly use and treat my car since they have little experience with electric vehicles. I am supposed to have life warranty with the body work, I am never taking my car there ever again

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to Arlington Collision Tesla for their exceptional customer service. A special shoutout to Belkis at the front desk, who truly went the extra mile for me. After my wife accidentally left her wallet and keys in a rental car, I reached out, and without hesitation, Belkis promptly retrieved the items and even arranged for them to be sent to me via Uber. I'm deeply appreciative of her swift and caring response. Additionally, I must commend Felix, the service representative, for his outstanding work. Felix consistently kept me well-informed about the status of my car's repairs, ensuring I was always in the loop. This attention to detail and commitment to communication made my experience even smoother. This visit marks my second repair at Arlington Collision Tesla, and both instances have solidified my trust in their service. The team's dedication to excellence in customer support and their ability to go above and beyond is truly remarkable. I can't thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness. You guys are simply outstanding!

Ok, just got my company vehicle back.ets start off, the text messages were very helpful and appreciated. Next, the vehicle was completed 5 days ahead of schedule. The surprise (having a lot of experience nation-wide with auto repair centers in a previous job position with a large unnamed auto insurer) was that, the inside of the vehicle, and the outside were cleaned and detailed. My last experience, plus having visited many other shops was if they were cleaned, it was a quick wipe down of dust from body work etc. Seriously, kudos to the detail crew, I was more than extremely pleased. The only reason for 4, not 5 stars is the parking is absolutely a challenge. All aside, great job, will recommend.

Update, after a couple month of having my brand new vehicle returned from body work and painting, noticed a lot of overspray throughout vehicle that was previously pointed out, but not taken care of properly. Not the cleanest nor profesional when it comes to prep nor finishing product. Did not return vehicle once again because i had done so prior multiple times and got tired of continuously pointing out imperfections that were clearly visible. Customer service is great but the shop/paint department needs a-lot of improvement. Would not use in future for me new vehicles.

Great service! Was worried initially whether I could get my car fixed (fender bender on old car). This body shop did an excellent job with great costumer service all along the way. Ask for Felix, very nice and professional. They even cleaned the car, hasn't been in such good shape for a while.

Best auto shop place in the area. Alann H. was professional and so helpful. Even when I ran late he was able to fit my car in. Called me with updates. Came out to be exactly what they estimated. When I got my car they also cleaned it on the inside, even the back which was a hot mess! These guys are the best. Can’t say enough good things.

Excellent service and workmanship!!!The folks at Arlington Collision Center repaired damage to my BMW caused by a hit and run. They worked with my insurance (USAA). The staff was professional, courteous, and very helpful. The work was done on time, and they texted me updates on the progress. My car looks like new. At first I thought of taking it to the BMW body shop, but I could not get an appointment for more than 6 weeks, and I did not want to wait that long (and they would no doubt be pricier). I HIGHLY recommend Arlington Collision Center.
