My car was hit while parked and the guy had no Insurance. Went to the first body shop to get an estimate & left with a very uneasy feeling, having never been to one before. Called my mechanic who referred me to Flemings. The BEST thing I did. From the moment Tim saw my car (my Insurance was taking time), his calm assurance that my car can be fixed made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I was frazzled as Insurance was trying to total my car & I panic called Tim, who once again, in his very calm reassuring way said to wait what the Insurance says & then figure out further steps. I was impressed with Flemings Auto Body from the moment I called. I was going through the person's who hit my vehicel while parked insurance and they wanted to send me to thier shops and after doing extensive resarched and not being happy with the shops provided to me, I came across Flemings and decided to go through them and I am very happy I made that choice. Not only was the work done amazing, but the professionalism by the staff was top notch. I would not go anywhere else is you need autobody work done, and if you have to go through insurance remember you can go to a shop of your choice and I would highly recomend coming here. Espcially over places like caliber that seem to be francised and do not have steady outstanding feedback and customer service like flemmings! 100% the right choice and can not thank them enough for giving me back such a beautiful car!
I had a great experience with Fleming’s 1st Choice! I came in with a horrific repair job from a previous body shop and Fleming’s did an excellent job explaining what was going on with my vehicle and keeping me updated on possible ways to rectify. They worked quickly and efficiently and returned my car in a beautiful state. If needed, I would definitely return.
I had the best experience at Fleming’s!! My bumper fell off whilst driving on the interstate and to be honest, I’m not a car girl. So, I wanted to find a place that wasn’t a chain and felt like they cared about more than just money. I was so excited to find Fleming’s and read their rave reviews so I chose them. I wasn’t disappointed!!!
They took my car in right away on Monday morning and by noon I had a VERY fair estimate. Today (Wednesday) my car was already ready and the total was under the estimate! Annnnd they vacuumed my car and cleaned up the outside and inside. Soooo nice! My car looks brand new, I didn’t even recognize it. I actually teared up!!
They were also so kind, understanding, and didn’t make me feel shameful. I’m so grateful and will for sure be a repeat visitor.

A++. Took my car in for a quote and they could have easily taken my money to do a job, but referred me to paint less dent repair because there was a chance it would be significantly less expensive. Definitely earned my business for when I do need them.

I will be honest, I was a bit of an emotional wreck when I came to Fleming‘s to show Nick the new dents on my beloved car. He was so kind and didn’t make me feel silly for telling him I cried about hurting my car (you all feel that way, right?). I received three other estimates and Flemings was the most affordable by far so I went with them. They were extremely communicative, honest and made me feel like I was working with a team that cared about me being a forever customer. There are a ton of bodyshops across NOVA and DC, but I will not be going anywhere else after my experience at Fleming’s 1st Choice!
I recently noticed wind whistling and leakage on my passenger door. I received quotes from several other shops for $1900-$6000 for any combo of replacing hinge, door, a-pillar work, and other paint work i didn’t need (or want!). I was sweating a bit since this was a self-pay repair.
After thoroughly inspecting my vehicle, Tim asked me to bring it by the next week and he would have it fixed within a few hours. He was the most genuine and honest mechanic I interacted with in getting quotes and through this process, and I could not be happier I took my vehicle this shop and that Tim worked on my car.
Tim and his family run a great business, and I will (hopefully not any time soon) be using them exclusively for any body work we need on our 3 vehicles. Bonus! They specialize in German automobiles and we have an Audi and Mini.

They repaired my car quickly and did an amazing job—it looks brand new! I was worried about pricing since some places really overcharge, but their pricing was very fair and transparent, which gave me so much peace of mind.
I also had them replace one of my headlights and fix the other, and they did that flawlessly too. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers.

Got a recommendation for Fleming’s and it was right on! They were responsive to phone call, easily accommodating to my schedule, and gave me a fair and quick estimate. The car was fixed to a high quality and in a quick amount of time. They replaced a panel and painted over some scratches that I had. The icing on the cake was the dmv hospitality and kindness of all the staff!

Unfortunately, my Porsche was struck twice within a two month period, but I was very fortunate to have located Fleming's 1st Choice Autobody to handle my vehicle repairs. Hands down, they are the best auto body shop in the DMV! These guys are great. Nick and his fellow colleagues were very efficient, thorough, honest, communicated effectively, and most importantly, they had an excellent attitude towards the client. I do not plan to be involved in anymore collisions soon, but if I should, you know where I'll be! Strongly recommend!
Fleming’s did a remarkable job with my Audi wagon. They kept me in the loop of all work, finished quickly and all work was beyond satisfactory. I never had to hassle with the insurance company as they took care of all that. If you have a German car or any car really at that, definitely look them up if you’re in need of a good friendly respectable body shop.
Fleming’s 1st Choice is the absolute top tier when it comes to communication, quality of work, and turnaround. This is my second time using them, and result was equally great as the first. Recently had some out-of-pocket work done on the front of my car and it was fairly priced with a quick turn around. Final price was less than the quote due to them finding a safe way to save some labor cost. Paint work is absolutely seamless. I highly recommend this family-owned business for body work on your car, definitely don’t skimp by going to one of the big name shops.
I recently took my Honda Accord to 1st Fleming Choice Auto Body Shop for a paint job, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. The team did an outstanding job my car looks as good as new! The paint work is flawless, and the attention to detail really shows.

I want to recommend this company to everyone. I brought in my Model 3, with a significant scratch by the side, on Tuesday and got it back on Friday. Although it was a short span, they managed to make it flawless and brand new again. They were also able to fix the damaged seat! Everything was affordable and beyond my expectations and will go back to them if needed. This company will definitely provide you with a top tier service!
If I am to rate this place on a scale 0-5 stars I give them 10!! I was searching google for a place to fix my bumper and called few places around before finding this shop.. When I called Fleming’s 1st Choice Autobody, the lovely lady picked up a phone and she was so pleasant and helpful so I decided to proceed and do my repair with them! From a moment I walked in I felt a friendly atmosphere which was a great first impression and they already knew who I was, what I was there for, they already had all the information pulled up, I just dropped off the keys and the next day the job was completed as previously promised! They are very straightforward and honest people, they don’t charge you more than needed which really sets them apart from others!!! There was a clear line of communication, very efficient operation, no room for worry or confusion, their team is extremely knowledgeable! The owner was in the shop both times I came and he is extremely nice and helpful with all the questions I had! I couldn’t recommend this shop enough, they are the best!! I am attaching pictures of the work that was done on my car!! 10+++++! Incredible experience start to finish!! I am so happy with my experience!!
I brought my BMW X3M Comp for body repair work to Fleming's. Nick was very thorough in going through the necessary repairs and communicated updates well. Overall I was very pleased with the work they did and would recommend them for any autobody work.
Tim and his daughter Jade were absolutely great to work with. Despite having an issue with USAA, Tim was really easing to work with as well as Jade. Tim's folks did an outstanding job repairing the damage, as well as made my other headlight look brand new. I would highly recommend Flemming's for all your body shop needs. One word, there is an Enterprise Rental Car up Us-1 at Hilton Garden Inn. They open at 0730, and they have issues. But it is the closest place to Flemming's.
My experience with Fleming’s 1st Choice Autobody was outstanding throughout, specifically as follows:
• Situation: Minor bumper damage in hit-and-run, but insurance company determined entire bumper needed to be replaced. 2015 Infiniti Q40 AWD.
• Extremely high-quality work product: every detail including sanding was of very high quality. Flawless (see after pic below). Had mechanic with critical eye review it afterwards and he was quite impressed, indicating the work superior (not even close) to recent work he had done at another shop.
• Cost: Amica Insurance provided their quote, which I thought for sure was going to be too low considering entire bumper had to be replaced. Fleming’s 1st Choice did it exactly at Amica’s quote. Fleming’s 1st Choice wasn’t on Amica’s preferred list (preferred list included another shop that my repair mechanic indicated recently did subpar work for him, as well as other shops with problematic online reviews), but ultimately this was irrelevant.
• Turnaround time: brought it in on Monday ~3pm, was returned completed the following Monday ~2pm
• Nice free extra: Also, I brought the car to them with filthy exterior after driving across country and not washing for 3 months, plus unfriendly fire from neighborhood bird, and Fleming’s returned it to me squeaky clean throughout the entire vehicle’s exterior.
• Family business: Tim is owner, daughter Jade and husband Nick run the front office.
