Kaylie is great. Steve on the other hand my God. Takes Steve literally 7 minutes to count a contractor bag full of largest monster cans. He was literally drooling on the cans and has a additude towards the costumer the entire time as he's counting one can at a time. Kaylie got 5 other people in and out while he struggled to count two regular size trash bags with tall beer cans in them. Just hope you don't get stuck waiting 45 minutes to an hour for like 10+ bags

I can confirm all the reviews about getting ripped off I took my chances and went thinking people were just upset they didn’t get as much as they expected but I counted all mine before hand and was shorted for sure will not be going back and don’t recommend anyone else too!

DO NOT GO HERE. These people are thieves. I bring 8-10 bags in every few months. Counted cans to see if they were skimming off the top. On 3 different occasions they shorted me $20 plus dollars.

Gone there. Send a young one, my uncle Jim & My dad started me young And you know I am from new hamper. They are very good and do their business very well. I'm very properly. They're always busy, but there very less busy around one ash. And I always look forward going to do and redeeming these cans. And bottles They Do not care on how much you bring in so far. I have seen they are very good at their job. End. I don't mind helping Em. Pull the can out of the bag or whatever. I aint afraid to get dirty to pull my cand out of the bag too. How them all counter? You only get turned as their parking lot is very small, so it'd be better to go during non rush hour.

Went knowing 💯 % I had over $10.00 worth of cans and liquor bottles because I never go unless I have at least that much. The skinny tattooed, short female about mid to late 20’s told me I only had $5. 85!!!!!!!!! Now I personally emptied 2 -30pk of beer, 6-18pks of beer, 6 -12 pks of soda plus more!!! And to the owners reply, that’s cool because I don’t drink market basket soda… I’m a Coke and Sprite drinker. And nowhere in my original post did I say anything about market basket, so I’m not sure where your assumption is coming from since this is a 4 year old review… hopefully your redemption center has gotten better… I now go south of my home rather then north and I goto somewhere trustworthy, I goto Putney road redemption, it’s worth the extra few minutes of my time to not deal with being ripped off.

Count your cans or whatever your bringing in for returnables!! I wondered about such for sometime now, so I counted every single can I had and bagged them up n took them over to turn on, I had 3 bags of cans, a total of $15.65.. After letting the workers seperate and count the cans, I was given $9.45.. Big difference from the $15.65 worth of .5c cans I brought in for redemption! What is wrong with this world today?? Aren't we all struggling enough to make ends meet???

If the state must mandate can and bottle return, that is okay. However, making the return process doable is a consideration they conveniently ignore. If you are going to mandate programs like this, look carefully at how the experience will typically be for the end user having to use the social system. The least you could do is extend the socialism to the redemption centers. Have the redemption centers keep the exact same hours as the landfills at a minimum. It's very inconvenient trying to clean up with a part time landfill keeping less than bankers hours and a single redemption center with hours that are designed in opposition. It's like Vermont infrastructure does everything it can to make recycling and discarding trash NOT PRACTICAL or NOT DOABLE. Redemption Companies: At least keep the same hours as dumps!

These folks are too busy. Only 2 people working and customers lined up waiting.

Just turned in over $60 worth of cans but somehow was only given $23.35.. I would highly recommend recycling your cans elsewhere.

One of the employees was very rude. Never had an issue before this but wow. They're usually good work with but today was different. I understand that people get frustrated with their job, but you don't take it out on the customer. It's very unprofessional and it turns people off. Reminders are fine but be professional about it.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for a single bad experience my mom and I had. We have used this facility ever since I was a little kid. We brought over a truck load of cans. We had a lot. Eventually we realized that a lot of them we New Hampshire redemption, so we jumped in to help. The gentleman working who delt with us was extremely professional. He did an awesome job and we happily tipped him. Unfortunately, they had a woman working there that day who was the best example for horrible customer service I had ever seen. Once we realized a lot of the cans were New Hampshire redemption she began mumbling under her breath at us, but we couldn't quite tell if she was taking to us. She progressively got louder the longer we were in there. Eventually, she started repeating "you need to sort through everything before you bring it to us". This is entirely understandable, we will never bring this many cans at once anywhere ever again, but the first two times we got it. She went on like this the whole time we were being taken care of. She would complain at us while she was helping other customers, also she never jumped in to help us which I found to be even more obnoxious; if you're not going to do the work don't complain. It was as if she was complaining for the gentleman helping us, because a 6ft grown man can't speak for himself. Once we had finished sorting my mom and I hopped back into our vehicle, she jumped back out to poke her head in the doorway to say thank you to the gentleman who helped us, in our rush to get out of ear shot of the woman she almost forgot to thank him. Before my mom could even say what she wanted to, this arrogant woman starts spatting at my mom that they can have her banned from the redemption center and that they can refuse service to anyone and that she was blocking the doorway(there was no one else there except a customer already in the building being serviced by this woman). As my mom walked away she caught this woman talking trash about how rude we were to the customer she was sorting for. This woman had claimed to be the manager at some point, it's only a matter of time before her ignorance catches up with her.

I love this place! It's very organized and everyone is very friendly! We come here once a year to redem our cans / bottles and will continue to. They also collect the tabs to help support Shriners, which is awesome! The hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Saturday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Closed on Sundays.
