Shop with integrity. I went in with a fairly new battery that was extremely low. They could have sold me a new battery but instead they charged mine up for free. Will trust their opinion and service when I do eventually need a new battery.
I use to love this place. After finding out I bought a recalled booster pack I was not notified about and guy telling me no way the batteries could be bad I am not so quick to go here.
I’ve bought every large battery I’ve needed from this store until today. Guy at the counter said he didn’t know much about batteries and I thought he was joking until he looked under the hood and starting asking questions. That’s when every realized he really had no clue what he was looking at, so I packed up my tools and left..
Just called the store and ask if they charge car battery and run a test. On 2019 bmw x7 2nd aux battery. BMW dealer said $800 for new battery.
He said he is not going to waste time and hung up. He shouldn’t be answering phones at all.
Went to advanced auto. They ran the test for free and told me 60watt lower then it should be. They will charge the battery for me for free. Told me to come back in 2hrs. Excellent service from advanced auto on park st Essex jct
I called ahead of time and gave them the year, make and model of my car asking if they can do a battery install, they said no problem. Drove there, waited in line for nearly 30 minutes only to be told they can’t install it. Waste of time.
Had my 5 year old RV/Marine battery tested at Interstate Battery Store in Willston, VT. It had been losing it’s charge faster. The gentleman working tested the battery for me abd recommended a new battery, which I purchased. He was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this store.
They had the battery in stock in two sizes, and the higher CCA was only $15 more. Quick, professional service and the counter person assured me it would fit even though it was a little bigger. He was right: the VW battery tray allowed for that battery with a second hold-down position.
I trust Interstate Batteries and see them in a lot of fleet and commercial construction equipment.
Sold me a dead battery got home to mow my yard thats in despit need of it and fined out i got sold a dead battery from a BATTERY STORE. No offence but this is just stuped beyond logical thought.
I like the fact that they carried the particular battery I needed for hybrid. I like that the gentleman gave me time to get there just before closing. Made my evening!
Yesterday we had a new battery installed in our aging Lexus. I'm sorry we didn't get the name of the employee who did the work, because he deserves lots of praise! He was pleasant, sunny, and helpful, and he stayed patient even when dealing with rusted bolts and cold wind. We were very impressed!
My battery was completely dead and it needed to be tested and re-charged. I live 25 miles away from Williston and needed to have my battery serviced as I could not drive myself to their location. Upon my request, one of the delivery drivers Steve brought a loaner battery and hauled my dead battery to get it tested and charged. A week later, I drove up to their location and since I did not have the right tools with me, they themselves removed the loaner battery and installed my newly-charged battery free of charge. The staff (Brandon, Jim, and Ryan) made sure that I was well taken care of. I am really impressed with the service that I received as well as professionalism showed throughout my interaction. I highly recommend this place for sales and service and I would definitely go back to them for my future needs.
Extremely helpful, needed batteries for my 48volt golf cart and they walked me threw all my options explaining advantage and disadvantages with every short of batteries they carry.....left with 4 batteries fully charged.....if possible would give 12 stars.....for service and product

My seven month old interstate battery died. An employee in Williston wanted to give me a “loner” battery for 24 hours, to see if mine would hold a charge at the store. He hooked the positive and negative up wrong to the loaner battery. It blew my alternator control board fuse that cost me $450 to get replaced at the dealership.
Really nice people working here. We had a weird battery problem and one of the guys took the time to help us figure it out. We really appreciate the smart and fast service!
I like the store because they are dedicated to all things battery. Whatever service you need, they have. If the isn't something I haven't needed and therefore didn't notice they didn't have it! When I want an unusual battery I go to interstate.
Awesome experience, came in with 2 batteries that were questionable. Got them both tested for free, one was beyond dead and the other registered on the line of useable so the nice person helping me recommended replacing both, considering they both came out of the same vehicle I agreed. Took all of 15 minutes to walk in with dead batteries and out with new ones that were stronger than the old for the same price as what I paid for the old ones at a nappa 3 years ago. These new ones even have a better warranty so if they have an issue in 3 years they will be replaced free of charge!
My car was acting weird and I went to have them install a new battery. They did that quick and easy and it still wouldn't start. Josh and Steve didn't give up on me and we were able to figure out I had the wrong battery in my remote. They were so kind, calm, courteous, I just can't thank them enough. Bravo customer service!
I had an interstate 5yr warranty battery that I got a year and 10 days ago that started giving me issues. We have had some extremely cold weather down to -25, and was doing fine for a week, but then all of a sudden one morning, wouldn't start. Tried cleaning the terminals and charging the battery, but still laggy starts - began thinking maybe the alternator. So brought the battery into them to diagnose.
I called them about 5mins away, and they got me in within 30mins after arrival, with no appointment scheduled. They first determined the alternator was fine, and with first tests thought that the issue likely was the terminals, as one appeared to be loose. However, they continued to do an even more thorough examination of battery to be 100% sure the battery wasn't the problem, and determined something in fact appeared to be wrong with the battery. They immidiately put a new battery in free of charge, with no questions or hassle regarding the warranty. And with the installation of the new battery, the one terminal was no longer loose, fixing that problem as well :-D. My car was examined and problem fixed within about 15-20mins.
As a single woman alone walking in with no appointment, with no prior history of dealing with them, they were great. Every person I delt with was very respectful, and helpful, and the guy who examined my car/battery was also very warm, informative, and more than helpful. Great experience over all! I would definitely recommend going there for any battery questions or issues!
Good products and helpful battery testing and installation. I got a half priced used battery which was a wonderful option. The manager, who helped my friend on her car, did not offer her the half priced used battery option even when she asked for "the cheapest possible option". I interrupted him installing a $120 battery to ask if he offered her a used one. He said no, and went and got her one that ended up being $60. When I confronted him about it, he lied and said she never asked for a cheap option. Helpful service but dishonest. Use with caution.
My car was deadlined due to what I suspected was a bad battery. The folks at Interstate confirmed this for me quickly and got me hooked up with a replacement and a nice discount. Well done Interstate Battery! Nice clean store, helpful friendly staff, fast service!
Store appearance is great and there products all see to be of the top quality. I went on a Saturday you've my battery replaced on my Toyota Corolla. They only had one staff person there and I was paying to have them install the new battery he had to leave what he was doing with me and go wait on another customer this happened at least 4 times. Understaffed on weekends. Also products have a great warranty.
