We have been going to Earl’s for almost 10 years. They’re good honest people with great rates. I’ve never been blind sided by a bill or questionable services, which has happened elsewhere in Bennington. I can’t recommend them enough.
Took a used car in for a prepurchase inspection. They were quick and affordable, but they managed to miss that the spark plugs and fuel filter needed to be replaced. I would just make sure you ask them specifics about what they're looking at.
Two great and kind guys who diagnosed my leaking radiator on a Saturday! I was travelling through from out of town and my engine light went on. One of the gentlemen was kind enough to refill the coolant and test drive the car twice, , before realising I had a leak. And didn’t charge me a penny. Really appreciate that kindness these days!

I have been a customer for about almost a year I can say they are amazing people. Every time I have an issue with my 2005 they always squeeze me in they are very honest and helpful. They will tell you the price before they do the work and they are okay with you buying the part yourself and bring it in for them to put it in. If they have to order the part they will hold the part for you when you have the money to hand them. Very friendly welcoming people and they will help people understand the problem who have a hard time understanding things, you will never be disappointed for sure.
Stopped by at opening with my dashboard lights predicting all kinds of danger ahead. Earl and colleague determined the cause and more importantly what it wasn’t, then sent me on my way. Splendid experience.

Earl's garage did a great job of replacing my brakes. Fair prices, good service, timely. On a separate occasion I had my car inspected. They got me in right away, charged a fair price and were friendly and on time. I value having a trustworthy garage so close. Thanks Skip and crew!
Like many other customers have stated, Earl’s has a friendly staff who know what they’re talking by about and are efficient. Plus, they price their services and repairs fairly. I can’t thank them enough for making a quick repair as I traveled through town.
I wish I lived closer so I could go in and thank them personally. I set up appointments twice for my daughter who was attending college in bennington. It was so nice to have them take such good care of her and her vehicle when I wasn't around to help. Thank you Earl's!

Outstanding garage. We have been having them repair used automobiles for over a decade. As a couple who has lived all over the US, we have never had quite this level of friendly, timely, affordable service from a group of folks who are all down to earth, light hearted, and overall genuinely positive people to the core. Owner (Skip) is someone I would be happy to have watch our home and animals if we were on vacation. Almost have to pinch myself after some much less desirable experiences in other states (though some were also terrific), but these guys are like the main character in "It's a Wonderful Life", and make living around here that much more possible for, and appreciated by, my partner and I. No connection or relation to them, they simply earned this 5 star review in spades.
You've been looking for a shop that won't take advantage of you, well this is it. Fair pricing, friendly owner on premises. All around small town shop feel. Great group of guys.

I happened to call Earls one morning for a State inspection for an upcoming day. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment that same day. I arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by one of the mechanics. Arrangements were made and he said as soon as a bay was freed up my car would go in. As I sit waiting another mechanic ask me if I needed assistance. This is great customer service, I thought. Minutes later, on time, my car went in. 30 minutes later it's done, just as discussed over the phone. This team is great. They even pulled my car up to the door, instead of a parking space that I had been in. I am going back, this time for an oil change.
Earl's service center was great! I had new tires installed and an inspection done on my vehicle. The guys there were very professional, fast and efficient. I am very happy with their work. I get better gas mileage and a much better ride now. I have had work done on my vehicles their in the past and have always had great results. If you want quality work done on your vehicle without a hassle, get it done at Earl's service center!
