I’m not usually one to write reviews, but after eight months of waiting, I figured this shop earned it—if not for the service, then at least for the sheer drama. I took my truck in mid-July to have an oil leak and an A/C leak fixed. Right off the bat, the owner was upfront and told me to get A/C line dye myself and add it, saying it would save money rather than going through their shop. I appreciated that kind of honesty—it gave me hope. I was able to drop my truck off after hours, which was convenient. But unfortunately, that was the last smooth part of this entire process. I didn’t get my truck back until the end of March. What happened in those 8 long months? Well, apparently their one and only mechanic quit. Then the replacement quit too. I gave them a lot of grace and time, but weeks went by with zero progress. It honestly seemed like no one else there had a clue how to work on a Ford—or maybe no one even tried. I made multiple phone calls and heard “about two weeks” more times than I can count. I went in person several times to check in. At one point, frustrated beyond reason, I even yelled at the owner and asked why they were still taking in new work if they couldn’t handle what they already had. His response? A shrug, basically. I was told I could take it home and not get the work done, but finding another shop was nearly impossible since most around here only work on semis and tractors. So, reluctantly, I left it there. Eventually, they did get around to fixing the oil leak. I waited a while to write this review just to make sure it actually stayed fixed—and thankfully, it has. However, the A/C issue was not resolved. After waiting the better part of a year, I cut my losses and decided not to take it back. I’m not about to hand them my truck again only to see it next summer. Bottom line: yes, one issue was fixed. But the service, communication, and timeline were incredibly frustrating. I understand things happen—employees quit, life is unpredictable—but if you don’t have the staff or time, be honest. Don’t leave someone’s vehicle sitting untouched for months on end. I won’t be returning, and I can’t in good conscience recommend them unless you’re extremely patient and only need one thing fixed—maybe. The pricing was very reasonable. Hopefully things get better in the future.

We've had issues with the A/C in our Subaru since we purchased it. Initially, we took the vehicle to a shop, just to be turned away and told that the A/C was functioning normally. At the time, the A/C wasn't horrible, we simply noticed that it was struggling more than it should have. A year or two later, we took it to the dealership to address the A/C issues. $1,200 later, and the issue was still not resolved. This year, the A/C simply wasn't working at all. We took it to Duotech hoping that the friendly team would be able to figure it out. Immediately, they started the diagnostics process and began rooting out the problem. The team was able to fix it and get our A/C working correctly for the first time since we bought the vehicle. Thank you Duotech! This is my go-to shop from now on.

Poor customer service. I took my car there because of a good review from a coworker, BOY was that a mistake. I called once in the morning, the receptionist said they were just pulling it in. I called back at 1, the receptionist said she didn't know and the mechanic would call me in a minute. Well he never called and apparently the shop closed early because when I called back a 3rd time I got no answer. The shop was closed and the next day was a holiday. Fast forward 2 days I call in fuming and ask to speak to the manager. I find it absolutely unacceptable to keep my car for 2 days when I was told it would be done in hours. Then the manager tells me they hadn't gotten to it yet but would soon... Well they completely misdiagnosed the issue as needing a new catalytic converter. Symptoms kind of matched so I said ok and asked if they would shine a timing light on it and make sure it was properly timed. The owner of the shop assured me they had and that it was timed properly. I replace the catalytic convert, got my car back WITH THE SAME PROBLEM! So they fixed nothing. I took it to Midas and they checked it and said the timing was off. they corrected the timing issue and now my car runs great. DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THESE CROOKS!!! STAY AWAY

I had my truck towed to LHM to get the front axle fixed, hoping it was covered under their warranty. After a month, A MONTH of trying to reach my "service consultant" and "service advisor" there, leaving multiple voicemails that were never returned, we finally got their diagnosis. Surprise surprise, it was not covered under warranty. They wanted $1600 + to fix it. I stopped by Duotech and they guys there quoted me around $450. No brainer. I had Duotech tow it over, and less than 24hrs later its done. When all's said and done, it was less than a 1/3 of what LHM was going to charge me, and that was including the tow! I've always had good experiences with Duotech and felt they have always given me fair pricing. I would highly recommend them.

Had my car for 2 weeks and its still not fixed plus now there are more problems then when I dropped it off the first time and have to take it back again..very disappointed ?

Now retired, I was a mechanic for about forty years and I can only hope that the service I provided was as good as I recieved at Duo Teck. Excellent in every way and I always had the feeling that I was among friend. Can't say enough good things to express how I feel.

Very professional and great customer service. They worked so hard to figure out the issue with my son's truck and refused to quit until she was running top notch. Hard to find trustworthy mechanics.. We've found our place and won't go anywhere else!

My goodness, I have not been at a place where I feel taking care of. Mike fleas above and beyond when it comes to customer service, definitely will be coming back for all my vehicles needs. Prices are so reasonable too.

Where do i even start? As another local business owner I have a hard time writing something negative about another business but having given them the chance to fix things multiple times and then them not capitalizing on that opportunity, I feel that now it is appropriate. We contacted Duo Tech in January 2020 about an issue our Mercedes Sprinter Turbo Diesel was having. It started to run bad, the check engine light came on and it went into a limp mode to protect the turbo and wouldnt go more than 25 miles per hour. After having it towed to them and reading reviews about their experience on diesel engines, I went forward with the repairs. Mike was my technician and ran the codes and told me that the repair would be $1,730.88 parts and labor. We needed injector #1, a fuel filter, air intake o ring clamp, carbuerator cleaned, an air flow sensor and air filter as well as some other basic maintenance like wiper blades and an oil change. Based off their expertise we agreed to allow them to proceed. A few weeks later the called asking us to pick it and pay and we made it a couple blocks away and the check engine light came back on and was doing the exact same thing. We took it straight back and they agreed to dig into it further. Fast forward a month....didnt hear from them so we called. They said that theyre still working on it. A few more weeks go by, call again, some story about wrong parts coming and needing to ship back and the part they need on backorder. Another 6 weeks goes by and we follow up and they said we arent sure whats wrong but we cleared most of the codes so you only have 1 left. Unacceptable. I could play the guessing game but they have the tools and resources to figure this stuff out. They agreed to take it back and get it in when they could. It had already been a few months now so hopeful theyre eager to get this thing out of sight and behind them. I mean they already have my $1730. Nothing. No calls, emails or text, we call 4 or 5 times over the next few weeks just asking for a call back. We get some story about theres a different tech that needs to look at it. About 3 weeks later WE follow back up and they said it now needs a computer. Frustrated i wondered if that is what it needed all along and they said no it had multiple codes and theres a process of elimination that takes place. Once again were playing the guessing game. I wait for the new computer. 4 more months. Frustrated theyve had my vehicle for almost 9 months and still not resolved. The new computer doesnt fix the problem. They say they cant fix it and tell me to pick it up and take it somewhere. The fact that i have to take it elsewhere to have someone new do the job that I paid Duo Tech to do made me sick to my stomach. I begged them for some kind of resolution, grace, a reduction of labor or parts, split the bill with me anything!! After all, the misdiagnosis was their fault. Im without my van for 9 months. Nothing. Not an apology, giftcard, discount, not one bit of accountability. I let them know that this review would be coming. Honest, transparent, an actual account of what happened and what didnt happen. I had the van towed for a few hundred upto Larry H Miller Dodge because the Mercedes Sprinter and Dodge Sprinter share the same motor. $575 to fix it. Didnt need anything on the estimate besides the maintenance. The computer was never bad. It needed a reprogram. That is why the part Duo Tech ordered gave the same result. On top of it, the software needed to program the factory computer is dealer item only so Duo Tech didnt even have the capability or tools to fix it to begin with had it been diagnosed correctly. Its been 10 months. The van runs great. Part of the $575 charge was a new battery which makes sense for sitting for so long. Im not gonna say Duo tech doesnt know basic mechanics but i wouldnt trust them on anything techy or more than basic repairs. They had 10 months to make this right and chose not to. But i will never recommend a shop like this based off experience or customer service

After being stranded by a faulty alternator on a country road the tow truck service recommended Duo Tech for the repair. Not being familiar or local to the area I accepted the recommendation and had my vehicle towed to Duo Tech. Great experience. (1) Super nice on the phone explaining the diagnosis, parts, and labor (2) double checked with my home town mechanic who verified they were in line with parts and labor pricing (3) the owner picked me up from the train station and drove me to the shop for car pickup (4) they proactively discussed options to leverage the part warranty even if I wasn't in their traditional service area. Down to earth people... only compliments from me. I'd come back if I lived in the area.

I have been doing business with Mitch and Jim (the master mechanic "duo" of Duo Tech) for the past 18 years, and I keep bringing my vehicles back (and I have, and have had, a number of them, seven at the moment), and I keep recommending all my friends and family to use them. Why? Because they are *BY FAR* the most skilled, caring, competent, and honest mechanics I've found in the valley, period. They are SKILLED. I've had friends who had been lead to believe their cars were on their last leg by other professionals, told they were going to need new engines, or other exorbitant expenses, who I got to try Due Tech, and they fixed them right up! Not only are they skilled, they are COMPETENT! Competence is about knowing what you know, and knowing what you don't know, and not getting in over your head. I have had other shops jump into projects only to discover they had no idea how to handle it, but wanted to charge me a HUGE sum just because they tried. I'm not paying a professional to learn what they're doing, and Due Tech doesn't believe you should have to. It is RARE when you can find something these guys don't know, but there have been times I needed some sort of serious speciality, and they turned down the work, and made recommendations when and where appropriate. They WILL NOT get in over their heads. If they take on the job, they will deliver, and will do so for a reasonable sum. They will not just run up the clock while they try to figure it out. They will not provide you a less than professional resolution. They are always HONEST, like seriously you can't believe it honest. Mistakes can happen to anyone, and I've seen a few over the years, but if they break something, they tell you, and they fix it (on their dime). If they get a repair wrong, they back up their work. Not only that, but I have watched them discount repairs they felt had gotten too expensive. ...and not because I asked them to, but just because they looked over the bill, and THEY thought it was too much! Who else does that?? They are CARING! They keep an eye open as they work on your vehicle. If something seems like it needs to happen while they're there, they may just fix it for you and not bill you a dime for it. I've had that happen many times. If it's a big deal they'll call you and ask you how you want to proceed. The caring goings beyond the wrench as well. They have worked around my schedule, helped me with the logistics of getting vehicles to them (since I'm single and don't have a second driver). Like if there is something within their reasonable power to do they'll do it! I love cars, and I always have a project, and I have worked with so many shops in Utah and abroad, and I have never encountered an equal to Duo Tech, not in terms of skill, honesty, or consideration. The extra mile only designates the point where this group gets started, and that's not hyperbole! If you have a problem with them, seriously, all you have to do is talk to Mitch or Jim (the owners), and they will MAKE SURE you are taken care of.

I took my vehicle in and it supposedly got fix had to take it back same day cause it was not fixed. The next day same issue took it back they said it was something else paid them more money and it was still not fix the next day another issue called them back it was something they did they said the could fix it but they wanted more money. I would advise not taking your vehicle here they are no good. On top of it all had to go back because of a part they said was broken they ordered a new one. When I went in they put the old part on said it really wasn't broken. WOW DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.....

DON'T TAKE YOUR vehicle here they don't know what they are doing.... as my wife stated on her review nothing but problems on our 3rd week and given them plenty of money and my car is worse than what it was when we took it in. They will BS you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

They are a shop you can trust. I got to different stories about the problem with my Toyota van from dealerships that wanted $2000+ to fix it. Took it to Duo Tech after a quote for $1400 to fix what the dealerships reported the problems to be. Duo Tech fixed the real problems and it was a total of $640. I'm a very happy customer that recommends them the family and friends.

Took me in on Friday at 2pm even though they were already booked out. Did a 2 hour repair in about 1 hour. Did a great job and did it with a smile. Called me to let me know I accidentally left my $20 coffee mug on the table. Great guys and great service all around.

This company is the only one ill use for my fleet trucks and my personal truck. very honest and fair. they work on first come first serve which in my opinion is the only way to do things cause i know as soon as they get to my truck, they will not leave it and work on something else until mine is 100% complete. they have earned my trust and business. i highly recommend them to my closest friends and family
