Called with an emergency on a Sunday evening, the lady on the phone was kind and helpful and had a driver on site in less than 30 minutes. Even the after hours fee was super reasonable. The car was delivered without incident and I was notified of the job completion. Outstanding service!!!
Worst experience ever! These people cheat and lie you to believe what you want to hear then leave you feeling robbed! And if you want to work it out they’ll team up on you and make you feel like crap! DO NOT TRUST THEM unless you’re prepped for a terrible review from your own hellish experience!
Absolute terrible customer service! Trust me when I say look elsewhere for your towing needs! Their own staff made SEVERAL mistakes with no solutions, just peer attitude!! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!
When a company prides themselves on longevity and customer service, you’d expect to receive such , However Unprofessional is Inappropriate would be better suited.
From the manner the initially driver pulled up , addressed me and “handed “ the card I should have expected less, upon entering the building all employees were occupied which was fine as I was on the phone, waiting for a reception to be present , in the most snarky tone a “manager “ yells once you get off the phone we can help you .
Immediately taken back as well no one was available, and I wasn’t in a rush ,
She then proceeded to yell how they don’t want to be rude im on the phone so and it’s policy ..(because yelling across an office is appropriate?)
A driver in the office steps in and starts getting hostile with me , at this point the receptionist makes her way to the desk and immediately rolls her eyes and has an attitude.
I tried explaining , she proceeded to interrupt and tell me she doesn’t know what happened she’s just trying to get me out .
After asking for a corporate number , the “manager “ comes up very aggressively and continues to push conversations, I stated I wasn’t comfortable with such which is why I asked for a corporate number she said to go online and she’s an owner.
What should have been a quick interaction turned to me leaving shaking on the verge of tears
Just to be locked out of my vehicle .. so I had to stand there being glared at for 10 mins while they tried to pop my lock ..

Great crew, I got a flat and saw the truck driving by and their crew literally had the truck turn around and get me off the freeway. What normally would be an hour wait was 15 minutes. Great guy that helped me also. Appreciate you guys
Austin was great! He showed up earlier than expected, towed us up the mountain, and even helped us transfer the load we had to the new truck. He didn’t have to do that but he graciously did and was very kind to my father and I. Highly recommend him
I want the world to know that this tow company saved my family after our little girl passed away from leukemia and we broke down they came to our rescue they didn't even charge cost for their services so if you're looking for a dependable company with compassion and empathy this is the only company you need to call ?
This towing company is pathetic! The people are rude and ignorant to say the least! I was in a accident and my car was towed to this place. I called them up to see when i could come and get my personal items out of the car. The lady
said I could come over right a way not a problem. I get there and they say I can't get my stuff until I have the title. Well I was told I could come and get my stuff. The lady asked me who I talked to I told her a lady I didn't get the lady's name. She says nobody talked to you. Then a guy comes over and tells me to get out and don't come back without a police escort and I say no I'm not leaving without my stuff. They think they are God's gift to whatever. Everybody has to bow down to them!!! They're are good at calling you a liar and calling you profanity names and telling you to get out and don't come back without the police when they are totally in the wrong!!!! This place should not be in business and should be thrown in jail for stealing people's property!!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!! They are a total disgrace!!!!
I hate that I even have to give one star. This is by far, the worst towing company I have ever dealt with. My 16 year son was in a car accident and the police called the next tow company on their rotation. It was Stauffer's that showed up. They took the car and the were gone within 15 minutes. I called the next day to ask the process of how to deal with the car knowing it was totaled. The office lady was so incredibly rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. She seemed so irritated that I had question and huffed when I explained this has never happened to me before and could they help explain how it works to me. I'm so sorry I called you at work and made you do your job. Shame on me. Anyways, she told me that I could come get the car and pay $450 or I could pay $225 and give them the title. I had talked to my dad who was a police officer and he explained that many towing companies will take the title and just clear out the bill or charge a small fee plus the title. That's what I had planned to do since I had no use for a totaled car. I wasn't expecting the bill to be $225 AND the title! I called and asked them for an itemized bill, and there were so many other fees on there. Erin was so rude when she was talking to me and I was just asking questions. I told her that worst-case scenario I abandon the car at their lot and they have to store it for the next 30 days until they can get a title from the state of Utah for an abandoned car. She then told me that if I did that they would take me to collections for all the fees plus the $40 day storage fee. That is impossible to do because I never had a legally binding financial contract with them saying I owe them money. They cannot take me to collections. I talked to one of the other tow companies and he told me they would threaten to take me to collections, but that simply cannot be done. Lucky for me, I'm in the financial world, and I know whether someone can or not can take me to collections but there's a lot of people that don't know that and they use this as a scare tactic to get people to pay their outrageous fees. I asked if I could speak to the owner and she said "I am the owner" and I said "you're not the owner listed on the website. I Want to talk to him" and she said she would have him call me when he's out of his meeting but of course, he never called me. Between the incredibly terrible customer service, the not calling me back and the outrageous fees, I'm shocked that they can even run a business like this. Whatever you do, do not call these guys for any towing help. I called around to several other towing companies and they said they would have charged me $300 to get the car or give them the title. Much more reasonable. There are so many other businesses in Utah that are honest. Do not use Stauffers!
My Semi broke down & my company sent your drivers to tow me & my dog from Little America to Rock Springs on 7/25/24. It was 2 gentlemen Bert & Jim i think im sorry im not good with names. They were professional & very kind & helped me put my bags in the truck & respectful to me & my dog! I felt comfortable & safe & they were prompt & knew exactly how to hook up the bobtail & then my loaded trailer. Literally i had to use the bathroom & in 10 minutes they were waiting on me so we can go! Thank you so much for your help!
Did a roadside request at 6:35 p.m. Was quoted 8:06 for pick up. Called around 8:20 to see if we could get an update. The driver was at home still and was supposed to call and tell us he is on his way and.....nothing.We are still waiting. Second time the insurance has dispatched these people and we have had a bad experience with them. Would not call as my first choice or probs my last.
GEICO called this company for me through my app. We just needed a jump because our diesel pickup wasn't driven for a while . He arrived promptly and had no problem starting our beast of a pickup. Would definitely use them again.
Stauffer's towing AND ALL of their staff are amazing to work with. Kaden was my helper this evening and he was so quick, very professional, and handled my vehicle like a pro. I wouldn't go with any other company for my towing needs!
I locked my keys in my car! These guys are great! Cody was the nicest and most genuine person. Snow was pouring down. He worked fast and got me back in my car. I was feeling distraught, and he was cheerful and kind. Great service!
Rory was amazing. Polite, friendly, helpful. Stauffer’s Towing came to my rescue after the dealer roadside assistance was a total failure. They were unable to get me a tow after 8 hours. Rory got there in an hour, as promised. He took great care of my car and delivered it for repair. All this after he had already got home for the night.
If I ever need a tow, this is my first call.
On Thursday of last week I was towing my 1985 camper with my 2002 F350 from hunting camp headed home. Done for the season. It had snowed on Wednesday, but the roads were not bad. There is a section of road off of the forestry service boundary that goes through private and is not maintained. I was going slow because the road is rough and I started up a small hill. I did not have enough speed to crest the hill and my tires broke loose. The camper started dragging me backwards...I could not stop and I couldn't steer. Almost back to the bottom of the hill the camper went off the road and stopped when the back of the camper bottomed out in the creek. We took pictures and sent them to prospective tow truck companies. One said he could help us and would be there in a couple hours. He finally contacted the sheriff's deputy that came to our assistance and informed us he would not be able to help us. Now it was late in the day and the search was on. I left messages on countless answering machines and to this day none of those calls have been returned. I talked to a few dispatchers and none were willing to help...two hung up on me. And then I called Stauffer's Towing and Amanda answered the phone. She did not have anyone available at the time but she listened to me and explained to me what I needed to to. I asked if I could send a couple pictures so her drivers could see what the situation was. She agreed. I sent them and she immediately forwarded them and had a driver contact me directly. Brent called me ( I think he called me 3 times) and we had a discussion about everything from what equipment was needed to what safety issues were present. Brent made some suggestions that might save me some money, but he understood my concerns. By this time it was well past dark. We set up a meeting place and time for in the morning. Brent and Jim showed up the next morning. Each in what I am going to call a Semi Recovery Truck. We should have had a film crew. After walking through the project they each got into position and rigged up. After that it was just a slow process of recovery both truck and camper as a unit. When it was said and done I was able to drive the truck home with the trailer in tow. Both have some repairs needed, but thanks to Amanda, Brent and Jim I am going to be able to go back next year with the same truck and camper. I cannot thank them enough and hopefully I will never need them again, but they will be my first call if needed and I have already started spreading the word.
Chase came to pick up our car after it died unexpectedly. He came several hours earlier than we were quoted because he knew were we were a family with young kids. He was courteous and helpful every step of the way!

Our motorhome's rear axle broke on a Saturday morning as we were leaving town to go on vacation. We have roadside assistance, so our insurance company arranged a tow. The first company apparently didn't pay attention to the vehicle description or didn't hear "Class A motorhome", so when they called to confirm my location they told me they didn't have the equipment needed to tow such a large vehicle.
Stauffer's was the second company to take the job and even though I had to wait a while for them to arrive, they sent a huge rig that easily towed our motorhome to the nearest RV dealer, even with having to tow it front wheels down because of the broken rear axle.
Unfortunately, we discovered that the RV dealership doesn't do the repairs we needed, so the next day I had to call Stauffer's again and have them tow our motorhome to another location that would repair it.
Sean, the same driver as the previous day, did a great job both days getting it hooked up and towed safely to the destinations. He was friendly, professional, and he laughed when I told him I appreciated his hard work but hoped I never had to see him again.
If you have need of a huge truck to tow a big vehicle, I would highly recommend Stauffer's.
Amazing service! My husbands truck broke down and they towed his vehicle and Doug looked at it gave us a call and had the truck ready in 30 minutes! I am very impressed and satisfied with the work and pricing. I will most definitely be going here for any issues regarding our vehicles.
This is hands down the best company in the business! I got my truck stuck out in the mountains in the snow, I called a couple different places but none where able to help. These guys got it out no problem and we're awesome the entire time. I would recommend them to everyone. Friendly people, great prices and life savers!
There was a large wind storm that swept through Ogden and Washington Terrace, Stauffer's Towing offered up there trucks and large equipment to pull anyone's stumps out of there yard. I mean WOW! What a way to show how much the community means to their business. I have used them befor to tow my personal cars too. Talk about fast and Professional! Just can't say enough about how great this business is.
Newbie Chris and his mentor Paul were phenomenal. Paul has a plethora of knowledge. I was so impressed with their professionalism, speed of work, honesty, integrity and they were a delight to chat with. Ashley the dispatcher was also very patient and empathetic to my plight and the pricing was fair. I'm forever grateful to the entire team. Will definitely use them in the future. World class service!
There ended up being a mix up with which tow yard my car was at. However, the owner immediately paid for my gas to the other lot, without me asking. When I got to the right lot, the tow truck driver was very personable. It was windy and incredibly cold but Bryan made sure to help me get my belongings out of my totalled car. holding a flashlight and handing me things. He could have sat in his warm tow truck but he helped hand me things, hold a flashlight and dig through glass. Thank you Stauffer's Towing
