This spot is great for church events. A full kitchen and tons of space to enjoy food and converse with one another. We love coming up each year and letting the kids play while the adults get to relax.
Nice improvements made to this place. Clean bathrooms and showers. We loved how peaceful it was. Surprisingly, we encountered very little bugs and no mosquitos. Only giving 4 stars because at night the main road becomes a racetrack and you can hear all the cars/bikes/SXS
We had a wonderful family reunion at Mutual Dell. We rented a pavilion that came with seven tent sights. 65 people attended, comfortably, and we had fun playing games on the sports field.
I've always loved Mutual Dell. I went there alot as a kid. I have close family connections to the original campground. My Great grandmother, and my grandmother ran the craft and snack store. Now it's the McDonald picnic site. Mutual dell is a church run facility. Very clean and well kept. Lots of space and fresh air. Very family friendly.
This place was great for rent camping. You can not take an RV or trailer. They will not fit and you will not be able to turn around. No ifs ands or buts on that.

Mutual Dell is a great organized camp. It's tucked away in some beautiful scenery with plenty of trees and shrubbery. In the camp site we were on there was a small stream that ran through it that I am told is usually dry except for if there is a lot of runoff any given year.
Went to a church BBQ & Dance. Very pretty nature surroundings. I had a blast! Did a short nature hike too.. Would really love to go back and explore more of this area.

When entering you will be greeted by smiling faces. They have 4 wheelers to help you bring your gear to your site, or hand carts to load it up yourself. We were able to experience a movie night, confidence course, service time, canoeing, and much more. Materials for fires are provided and maintained there. Enjoy your time there with your group!
I've been coming here for many years now, and it is an awesome place for family and group activities nestled in the beautiful American Fork Canyon. Definitely a must.
This place is awesome. It's owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so I know that Church members can schedule a stay there. I'm not sure whether non-Church folks can stay, but it's worth a call -- the missionaries in charge there are extremely nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. (They're an older, married couple.)
The facilities themselves are just great. There's plenty of parking, the lodges are big enough for a large family reunion, and there are plenty of camping spots. The lodges come with fully-equipped commercial kitchens and have a spot for a campfire just outside. There's a large field for playing outdoor sports or games and confidence courses that are suitable for small groups and families.
Perhaps the best part about Mutual Dell is the location -- you have to drive a bit into the Uinta National Forest to get there, and it's BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely love that drive.
Took 24 teenage girls here for girls' camp bad had a fantastic time!! Property is beautiful and well-maintained. And the missionaries are amazing to work with.
Exceptional campground in a beautiful part of American fork canyon it has a pavilion where you can cook dinner and plenty of places to see wildlife. deer can come into camp but that's about it. Besides the annoying hike up to the campsite, bears will sometimes come into camp, but I haven't had that happen to me yet.
The camp site was great orher than a lot of sap all around from some of the trees. We have a very large tent which wouldn't fit in all the spots, but we got there early and easily found a larger spot where it fit well. We roasted marshmallows and had smores. We talked to other families and had a great time catching up. The amphitheater near our site was convenient and we had a great speaker who was real and interacted a lot with the whole group. I loved seeing my 18-year-old with all the other priests and how they organized/played a game in our tent for over an hour before bed. Some really great boys and amazing dads came for the night. The older missionaries running the campgrounds were very organized and accomodating and kind. They provided wood at the amphitheater which was nice.
Love camping here. Campsites are most walk into, and you often have to walk a ways, but everyone here is so nice and helpful. Nice hikes in the area, lake close by, beautiful area.
Great October campout. Temperatures below 30, but nothing a fire could fix. Facilities were great.well maintained by LDS church. Reservations required.
It was neat to be at a LDS camp for Webelos Woods. I brought my daughter, who is a Webelo, and she was welcomed by all. The camp is beautiful, the Staff is very helpful, and the program was well ran. My daughter enjoyed the experience.
We came up to hammock and camp and it was a great time! Very clean and organized. The senior missionaries on staff were super nice and helped us out even though we didn't have a reservation. Luckily someone fell through on theirs so they let us have their spot for the night.
Beautiful spot to camp in American Fork Canyon. Keep in mind this privately owned by the LDS Church, so you can't just show up to camp. The camp areas are spacious and well groomed. The provided pavilions are nice as well. There is a long walk to some of the camping spots, but carts and wheelbarrows are available. The Missionary volunteers are extremely helpful and friendly. You are a bit close to the road, so car noise is relatively frequent. There is also a nearby trail that motorbikes can access and they can be obnoxious. Plenty of parking and egress is not an issue.
We used the upper cabin for a family reunion, lots of space for gathering, full kitchen for feeding the masses. Trees and shade all over and a well kept field for games and gathering.
I took my family to Mutual Dell Friday night for some car camping. We had a great time! I've also been camping here a few times for father and sons campouts. There is a nice covered pavilion for large groups and there are some playgrounds scattered around for the kids.
This rustic building and mountain setting is always a favorite of our family. Great place to hike, camp, play in the snow, have huge group gatherings. Just a short drive up American Fork Canyon and you feel like you are hundreds of miles away from everything.
