Surprised to see all the great reviews on Google as they are absolutely horrible on eBay, ordered a part and after four days it never shipped tried contacting them via eBay They never responded so finally had to go through a refund process that took two weeks with no explanation or no apology
Called Don looking for a hard to find part, it is Discontinued by Manufacturer. What a fun person he is. Seems like he really enjoys his job which is hard to find in todays world. I think we poked fun at each other more than we actually searched for the part. He sent me to another auto yard business that might have the part I needed. Focusing on Customer Satisfaction and not necessarily the Sale. I will not hesitate to call him again when I have need for another part for my truck. 5 1/2 Bright Stars for your review sir.

I called up Transwest Auto at the very end of the day. Don, worked with me as the vehicle had not been through its initial breakdown for inventory. He said call back in the AM. I did and found out I wouldn’t have to wait to get the part (initially he said it could take up to 5 days). I asked if I could check the part to confirm its likeness. He had it pulled and ready to go before I got there (25 min later) and I was out the door with the part that was needed! Great customer service and ended up saving me over $200 getting this used part vs brand new. Perfect timing!
I got hung up on. Called back the second time and when I was telling him the part I needed was hung up on a second time.
I highly suggest to go somewhere else like I’m going to do to buy my parts.
I’ve dealt with Don at Transwest in Provo for a long time. He’s the best I’ve ever dealt with in finding car parts (and I’ve dealt with lots of wrecking yards over the years). He’s helpful and follows through. He’s fair and knows the auto parts business well.
Don was so helpful! He went out of his way to make sure I had the correct size for my tires and even wanted to make sure I could get it sooner! Very good customer service, was patient, and so kind to me.
Don and Transwest has been great to work with, got the tow mirrors I ordered for a great price . They were well packaged for shipping and got them fast. Will definitely do business with them again .
I called to check on the status of the wheel I ordered the day before. The employee (pepito? ) became impatient with me on the phone because I didn’t know the order number part number or vehicle vin. He told me there was no part ordered with the description I gave him then under his breath he called me a pendejo ! Then transferred me to a message only extention!

I had a very negative experience. I started by calling and inquiring about a part on the website. They gave me a quote and I told them I'd come down and look at it to see what shape it is in. I get there and the lady was ready with the paperwork. Then everything fell apart. They don't allow you to look at it by yourself. You have to drive to the back with the paper work and have someone show it to you. I gave the paper to a nice young man and it took 20 minutes before someone was available. Meanwhile there were other workers working on various projects. It became very clear that the customer wasn't very important. Then, the nice young man, seeing me in distress and frustration, pulled a car up and told me he would take me. I got in the car an not seconds later I thought I was going to die of carbon monoxide poisoning. It was as if the AC was blowing exhaust in my face. We get to the vehicle and it is pulled to shred. The part wasn't there, the vehicle wasn't even recognizable. So I wasted almost 50 minutes, including writing this review, because there records weren't accurate and the service was barely existent. I would hav given it 0 stars if that were an option.
I've been in many salvage yards, this one had absolute best service. The inventory is accurate, and the pull the part. The were polite, courteous, and organized. Not only did they do a great job for me, they were so good other salvage yards came to get parts there! Auto-recycling done right1
Transwest saves the day!! My experience with this company could not have been better i found an exact match color, interior, exterior side molding for the door i needed on my truck but the listing said pick up only and considering i live in florida and there located in utah pick up didn't seem like an option but after calling emailing sam he was able to ship the door out to me at a very good rate and as a complete assembly with the panel so a plug and play installation, he was very friendly and informative through out the process, delivery took exactly a week from placing the order to arriving at the door of my shop as i just received the door will add more pictures when i get it home and get it unwrapped.. if i ever need anything for my vehicles again i will definitely start my search here.. absolutely an awesome all around experience.. highly recomended..
This place is seriously great kinda pricey but the saying goes you get what you pay for and they deliver great parts they will also show you pictures of the vehicle and videos of it running. Don is the man to go to he was super kind and understanding he helped me out the best he could on the price I bought a truck and the owner lied to me and I got a truck with a bad engine and with Christmas right around the corner money is tight already so Don came through and got me a great running engine for the best price he could he's the go to man!
I bought 2 front doors for my SUV on eBay. Sam offered to ship them out even though the description says local pick up only. I live in CA so it'd be a long road trip. And I got to know I can't load these 2 doors on my car at once after receiving the doors. So he saved me in many ways. Sam and Lisa provided an amazing customer experience. I'm so happy that I had an opportunity to interact with them. I will definitely reach out to them when I need other parts.
