Transwest Auto Parts JunkYard in Provo (UT)

I called to check on the status of the wheel I ordered the day before. The employee (pepito? ) became impatient with me on the phone because I didn’t know the order number part number or vehicle vin. He told me there was no part ordered with the description I gave him then under his breath he called me a pendejo ! Then transferred me to a message only extention!

I had a very negative experience. I started by calling and inquiring about a part on the website. They gave me a quote and I told them I'd come down and look at it to see what shape it is in. I get there and the lady was ready with the paperwork. Then everything fell apart. They don't allow you to look at it by yourself. You have to drive to the back with the paper work and have someone show it to you. I gave the paper to a nice young man and it took 20 minutes before someone was available. Meanwhile there were other workers working on various projects. It became very clear that the customer wasn't very important. Then, the nice young man, seeing me in distress and frustration, pulled a car up and told me he would take me. I got in the car an not seconds later I thought I was going to die of carbon monoxide poisoning. It was as if the AC was blowing exhaust in my face. We get to the vehicle and it is pulled to shred. The part wasn't there, the vehicle wasn't even recognizable. So I wasted almost 50 minutes, including writing this review, because there records weren't accurate and the service was barely existent. I would hav given it 0 stars if that were an option.

It's always a pleasure doing business with Transwest Auto, Don has been a great helped, very funny, and great at his job, so if you need a part talk to Don, and overall I would keep buying from Transwest Auto.

These guy’s are awesome. I needed a lot of little parts to finish off my car and they made sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend! Great prices as well

Purchased a fender a couple weeks in advance. I live four hours away. These guys’ were going to be a life-saver because it was the only fender in the right color I could find that was relatively close to me. I was so excited when I found it! I show up and the fender is damaged. It’s dented and has a lot of scratches. Apparently it was dropped. No call or email to notify me ahead of time to save me the 8 hours of driving for no reason. No offers to help fix the issue, and no emotions were shown about the mistake.

I bought 2 front doors for my SUV on eBay. Sam offered to ship them out even though the description says local pick up only. I live in CA so it'd be a long road trip. And I got to know I can't load these 2 doors on my car at once after receiving the doors. So he saved me in many ways. Sam and Lisa provided an amazing customer experience. I'm so happy that I had an opportunity to interact with them. I will definitely reach out to them when I need other parts.

This place is seriously great kinda pricey but the saying goes you get what you pay for and they deliver great parts they will also show you pictures of the vehicle and videos of it running. Don is the man to go to he was super kind and understanding he helped me out the best he could on the price I bought a truck and the owner lied to me and I got a truck with a bad engine and with Christmas right around the corner money is tight already so Don came through and got me a great running engine for the best price he could he's the go to man!

Don was extremely helpful went above and beyond what he needed to do to get me what I needed for parts, i wish that all places were this good to deal with.

I drove from North Ogden to here. To purchase a rim I found on the website. Indicating they have it. Which they do. But my luck. When I got here they told me I have to wait 24 hours or more so they can take it off the vehicle. I wish they would have said that on the website. I wouldn't have driven here. Plus, They just showed me a picture of it on the computer. How do I know it's not cracked? I'm not going to wait 24 hours or more for some person to take off! I would understand if it was inside the engine. But a tire, or a rim come on! Does it take 24 hours to take it off! Sounds like a bunch of lazy people to me. They had 3 people in front of the desk. One of them could have easily walked in back and taken it off in 10 minutes. They need to change this policy. No stars! Bad service!

Has helped me for many years with auto parts. If he can't find needed parts at his place, Don will search do a search to find what you need.

This place is a total joke. We order and paid for a rim on their website. Called ahead to make sure it was ready because they are a 30min drive away. Was told it was ready so we went to pick it up. Got there and no one could find. Wasted an hour of my day driving there and back plus 45 mins there waiting for someone with some sense to find it. Ended up having to get a refund and leave. Such a waste of my day and they gave zero f’s.

Great customer service! Lisa went out of her way to assist me in getting the parts I needed for a nearly new truck. She was able to find parts that no one else could and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

Great experience talking to Don at Transwest. They didn’t have the part I needed but he took the time to find 2 other wrecking yards, close to me, that had the part I need. It’s nice to just call 1 place for all my Toyota parts.

Don was great to work with. He told me of my options and found a seat for me.

Don got me going, they did not have the part, but they took the time to find it for me at another wrecking yard out of state and gave me the info to contact them and it’s being pulled and shipped out as we speak, I am very thankful for humans like Don that know how to get things done.

Cody did a great job packing a Mazda CX-5 hood (extremely well) on a pallet and getting it shipped out on a Trucking company to me. Transwest Auto Parts gets the job done quickly and has very competitive prices. I highly recommend these folks!

3 employees were sitting on their desk at my arrival, and Don was the only one to respond to me when I said Hi. And because that I accepted his help. And I am very happy I did that because beside of having the best disposition to help, he has the acknowledge and customer service skill to made me feel welcome and get the stuff I need. I needed a driveshaft and was directed to Cody at Transwest Auto Parts. The experience was quick, easy, and extremely helpful. He found me a used one at a sister location and had it shipped directly to the transmission shop that is working on it. It was fair priced and he didn't charge me until the part was approved by the shop. Thank you for the help in such a tough time.
