Had a great experience here! They were very transparent and honest and took the time to explain things and answer my questions, and they paid for my Uber there and back which was awesome!

They are amazing. Always attentive and welcoming, with great vibes every time. Highly recommend.

I really like bringing my cars to Steve's. They do free diagnostics/ inspections. I like that they are honest and down to earth and super nice. They're always great with my kids, they have free snacks and they have courtesy Uber service incase you can't stay to wait for your car.

At first, I was hesitant because I had never used their service. I was satisfied with their services. I would like to recommend them for any car services you may need.

Came in because I didn't want to go to Honda. Steve's team got it done in half the time and at a reasonable price. Gave me some suggestions of what to do (including maintenance schedules for my next service), but no pressure to get it done then. Van is running great...will use them again!

Great customer service. I was in for a simple emissions check on an older vehicle and they got me right in and out.

Y’all are seriously the worst. I brought my car in for what I thought would be a simple diagnosis, and you told me it was “all fixed.” I paid $1,700 — went into debt for it — and drove off, only for the car to break down 20 minutes later with the exact same problem. Clearly, nothing was fixed. When I brought it back, suddenly you “actually found the real issue this time” and wanted another $1,200. At that point, it’s obvious you had no idea what you were doing the first time and just took my money. Completely useless, dishonest, and unprofessional. I’ll be filing a small claim, because yall were useless

We have been to Steve's for years and they are always kind and good to work with. The car is running great. They even helped with the registration and emissions so it was one stop for us. Will definitely come back

I went there for an oil pan replacement due to the drain plug being stripped. They replaced the oil pan but after that I proceeded to get an oil light that kept coming on which means I have less than a quart of oil in my engine. It wasn't just the low light. It was the out of oil red light. I took it back. They said they didn't see any leaks and it's just an old engine and over consumption issue. But this only became a problem once they had worked on the oil pan and I've never had an oil over consumption issue with my engine before. And now I have to refill my oil multiple times a month just so that it doesn't run out of oil. I've had to fill it up full more than five times since I got my oil changed and I should still have 3,000 miles before I need a new oil change

Took my car in end of June because it wouldn’t accelerate and the engine light was on. After over a month and $1700, they swore it was fixed. I drove it for 20 minutes — it broke down again with the exact same issue. Then they tried to charge me another $1200 for “maybe” the battery or alternator. I’m now in debt for a car that still doesn’t run. Save yourself the money, stress, and lies — don’t bother with this place.

Top Teir Mechanic This was the 4th mechanic I've Been to and they had resolved my initial issues with care and precision. They update you with details on your vehicle and show your cars full report, as a client, helps you know they are doing their job to the best of their abilities. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Steve's by the Costco Auto Program. The program listed Steve's as an alternative to Larry Miller Ford. Having had significant problems with Larry Miller companies, Steve's was the obvious choice. I drive by all the time. but never noticed Steve's shop. I'm sure glad I found them! I had an urgent water pump replacement. but after a free inspection, there were some additional items that came up. Steve's got me an Uber home and to picked up my truck when it was ready. They also had a fully stocked drinks and sodas for customers. They got me in quickly and finished my truck quickly. Highly recommended!

They were fast, flexible, fairly priced, and friendly. Nothing negative to say. I had my oil pan worked on and the work they did tweaked my alignment but when I called them back and let them know they fixed my alignment with no extra charge, and they got it done very fast. Great experience all the way through, they also were very responsive to my calls and texts which is rare with mechanics!

What a great 5 star experience. I dropped my car off and while it was being worked on I wasn’t held hostage Michael Rabe got me an uber to go back to work and carry on with my day. Check in was easy and my car is running like a dream definitely recommend.

These guys are real. They went above and beyond for me. I.have to say I was a difficult customer. They did great. My car has never ran so good. Thank you! 🥰

Just got my BMW serviced at Steve’s Automotive and Michael was fantastic. No disrespect to Steve but this place should be called “Michael’s Automotive” with how much he does. Michael was kind, honest and knowledgeable about my vehicle and seemed to be that way with every customer. Would highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here.

I appreciate Steve's professional service. Had tires rotated and they accidentally got a nut on crooked, but when my husband was unable to remove it, I returned and they replaced the post and nut both with new ones-- no problem and no confrontation. I purchased my tires new from Steve's using their coupons and got a great deal. They also replaced the transmission on my 2005 Jeep last year within a week of me breaking down in the canyon, and for a fair price. With the cost of replacing a vehicle and the associated increases in insurance costs, it's nice having a professional mechanic that treats me fairly.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I went to a different shop who told me they could fix my account even after I told them my car had a new freon system I arrived and they said actually we can’t and sent me on my way. I found these guys in a rush and they fit me in same day same time. They did amazing work for my ac fixed and thankfully after a few days I still have ac and I am so beyond grateful considering I have been without for a few months

WARNING WARNING WARNING Don’t be fooled by their cheap oil changes and friendly demeanor. I have a 2008 Tundra with a lift. It was squeaking quite a bit. I thought it might need new control arms, tie rods, and ball joints. I asked Steve’s Automotive to provide me with an estimate (see below). They decided to throw a heck of a lot more into what I asked for. My warning lights went off when they recommended the brake service for replacing the fluid. I had it done last year and only put 6,000 miles on since the service. In addition, I have the receipts from the previous owner that changed the differential and transmission fluids less than 15k miles ago. Differential change recommendation every 30-60k miles and transmission every 60-90k miles. I spoke with a friend about getting a second opinion and he recommended EP Auto on 400 N and 800 W. He told me it might be a week or two before they have availability. It was and well worth the wait. I let EP Auto know I needed an alignment as my tires weren’t wearing correctly. Explained I was concerned about the squeaking and told them the same thing I outlined to Steve’s. The squeaking was coming from dry sway bar bushings. They greased them up. Not a sound now! They didn’t even charge me! (see receipt below) Steve’s Automotive Specialists are flat out crooks!!! They will never get a dime from me again. Do not trust them! If you dare go there, get a second opinion. ——————————- Unreputable companies can sometimes achieve and maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) through a combination of strategic behaviors, despite having questionable business practices. Here’s how they often do it: ⸻ 🔧 How They Get an A+ Rating: 1. Timely Response to Complaints (Biggest Factor) The BBB rewards companies that respond promptly and professionally to complaints — even if the customer isn’t satisfied. Simply responding (not necessarily resolving to the customer’s satisfaction) can maintain a high rating. 2. Low Volume of Complaints (Relative to Business Size) A company with few complaints relative to its size and years in business can still maintain a high rating. If complaints are infrequent or spread out over time, the BBB algorithm sees them as less significant. 3. Transparency & Business Info Accuracy Keeping their profile up to date with ownership, address, and licensing details helps boost their credibility score. This includes proper use of their real business name, not aliases. 4. Longevity Businesses that have been operating for many years are viewed more favorably by the BBB. Time in business can offset other negative elements. 5. BBB Accreditation (Optional but Helpful) Paying the BBB to become an accredited business does not guarantee an A+ rating, but it does mean the company has agreed to uphold certain standards. Accreditation also lets the company display the BBB logo, adding perceived legitimacy. 6. Avoiding Government Action or Lawsuits The BBB rating can drop significantly if a company has been subject to government investigations, lawsuits, or major regulatory actions — so avoiding or settling these quietly helps. ⸻ ⚠️ Tactics Unethical Companies Might Use: • Flooding Reviews with Fake Positives While BBB reviews aren’t part of the rating algorithm, a company can post positive reviews to appear more legitimate. • Handling Complaints Privately Some businesses proactively contact complainants outside of the BBB to resolve issues quietly and avoid public complaints. • Using Shell Companies or Rebranding If a company has a tarnished history, it might rebrand or spin off as a new entity, allowing it to start fresh with the BBB. ⸻ 🎯 Bottom Line: The BBB rating system heavily favors appearance of cooperation and complaint management, not necessarily ethical practices or customer satisfaction. That’s why savvy — but potentially shady — businesses can maintain an A+ rating by playing the system carefully.

I used to go to Steve's Auto with high expectations. After my recent visit I was utterly disappointed and will not be returning. I called to have my car towed to their location which ran me $160+ for a 1.7 mile trip. I called for a CMP sensor issue which we were unable to replace and wanted to get it into proper hands. Steve's was not the right choice. I waited three days for a call only to be told that the engine needed replacement for $10,000 dollars in parts and labor cost. They didn't try to put the car back together or even look at the engine and assumed that replacing the entire thing was the best course of action. I decided to get a second opinion with a local mechanic and he was able to get that towed over for only $67 and looked into it. He replaced the sensor with a part I had already purchased, offered to put on a new timing belt, and check to see if that worked before jumping right to a new engine. Not only did he in a timely manner, he ensured it worked and my car is running fine with no issues. If you chose to go to Steve's, I understand. But I recommend you check yourself or get a second opinion because they clearly don't bother with the labor of doing a proper inspection before quoting insane amounts of money for unnecessary replacements. Before I get asked, they did send me an inspection like they normally do. It says that due to damage on the timing belt, the engine must be replaced. The belt was factory stock and old. Had nothing to do with the engine. They barely even looked at it. So much for an "inspection report".

Nolan and Austin stayed over 2 hours with me to make sure things were good after an extra error code flagged after I pulled off which originated from a simple issue with the air filter that came up after the repair. Appears back to normal. But what I came to comment on was the way it was handled. They kindly responded to all my questions, further than I even expected since my curiosity and use of AI (not 100 percent reliable, might I add). But Nolan still humored me and kept good vibes even though I knew that "customer consulting AI" wasn't exactly the most credible sidekick, and I was approaching with caution, he still was patient and listened to my questions as I threw darts at the dart board seeing if anything pinned. The AI didn't crack the code. But Nolan did and he ended up fixing it anyway. Nolan:1 Skynet:0 But then get this. He gave me his mobile number and sent me the error codes so I could research and learn on my own. And then after I left, hours later I realized I left my work laptop at the shop. I texted him and he drove to meet me at the shop and give me my laptop himself. Honestly the only bad thing I realized about this whole situation is how uncommon it is to run into guys like this these days. Austin made sure I had his number and told me if anything came up after hours with the car to let him know. So far so good. 10 out of 10 man. How you treat people literally does not get any better than this.

This a review of the Steve's Automotive chain in general and their shops are incredibly honest and stand by their work. I had some trouble with my truck due to an honest mistake from an other one of their shops. The other shop got on it with towing the truck to the nearest Steve's at their cost and got it fixed right away and did a thorough evaluation to make sure it ran right and got it back to me quickly. Mistakes can happen and its amazing good to know that there is a group of shops in the valley that will stand by what they do and will take care of you if something goes wrong. Amazing group of shops to go to.

Austin was great at diagnosing with the technician what was wrong with my car after having to bring it in due to issues at a body shop where it was supposed to be ready to drive but all the warning lights came on and I was unable to drive it due to a sensor! They ordered it and it was defective so they had to order another! I was so glad when it worked after waiting 4 hours + And I was able to drive it home 300 Miles away without a hitch! Thank goodness for knowledgeable competent service! Would definitely used them again if I lived closer, not 300 miles away 🥴

This auto shop is great! John and Chris were very helpful at explaining what was wrong with my car, and they were honest and had integrity when one of the technicians accidentally broke a part in my car to fix it free of charge! I will definitely be coming back here again!

Great service performed on my Ford F150. I had 4 tires and alignment installed and I am so happy. The tires are so quite. Nolan Raybon is a great service tech. We will be back if any additional service is required.

The usually get the job done quick and some of our experiences have been positive. However, our last few have not been so good. They forgot to put the skid plate on after changing the oil and they put the lug nuts on so tight that it took 180lbs of force to take them off again when they were supposed to only be tightened to 110lbs. They also told us of $3000 of work that needed to be done, when we checked with two other mechanics they said our vehicle was perfectly fine. There’s definitely some great people here but also some that also seem like they have a minimum wage work ethic.

Excellent place to take your vehicle. They were fast. And worked hard to get parts here when they had not shown up. And worked great with our employer In getting things taken care of. Very friendly service and very honest and with prices and parts and labor. Which is hard to find these days. Definitely would recommend Steve's for any car work needed

Customer Satisfaction is a priority here! After being a happy customer for quite some time, I was ready to write off Steve's Auto due to a terrible experience. They do have some highly qualified and great mechanics, but it only takes one bad one to lose a customer. I brought my truck there for a driveline issue and they tried to sell me a new transmission for $7000, without showing me any evidence. I was furious and felt ripped off vowing never to return. To my surprise, Jared reached out and he was very apologetic, understanding, and made things right. He was honest and respectful. He won back my business, and I will give Steve's another chance. It’s not every day that a business goes to these efforts to ensure customer satisfaction. I strongly recommend giving them a try.

I’ve been here a few times now and this shop has always done a great job. I’ll definitely continue to come here with my car. Thanks for taking great care of it! I’ve had a rear diff fluid change, two oil changes, and a transmission fluid change here. Zero issues every time.

I had some serious leaks happen abruptly and was struggling to find someone who could take my car in soon. Steve’s was able to take me the next day, and was prompt about getting back to me and letting me know how things would work. They had a great system for leaving my car before hours, and were great at keeping me in the loop! They explained everything well, and the quote they gave me was very detailed. I don’t know a ton about cars and pricing, but it was really helpful to have the breakdown. They were also willing to answer my questions about why something was recommended, and didn’t make me feel pressured to get something. My car’s almost done, and the experience so far has been great!
