Great experience here. Usually don’t have great reviews about auto shops but these guys are top tier. Not the cheapest, but good and fair price. Usually the cheapest options end up being the most expensive anyways. Went out of their way to fix a problem that I did not ask them to fix, and they did it at no charge, saving me many hours of having to do it on my own. Amazing crew and experience, would recommend to any friend or family member. Thanks you guys!

This place is amazing! Our car stalled on the freeway nearby. We had heard this place was the place to go, and boy were they right! We called at noon on Friday, and were still wanting to drive down south for our reservations. I thought it would be hopeless, however he said bring it in and he can run diagnostics. We stalled probably 15-20 times trying to get it to him, so I thought this would take a while to fix. He got my car in AND fixed in 1.45 hours! I think he gave me a deal on the diagnostics because he did the fix also, or he just is really good and honest and didn't over charge us. It did not ruin the bank, and we were able to get back on the road for our trip. I am unbelievably appreciative of Doug and his shop, and would recommend anyone come here. I have never felt so heard from a mechanic before. Thank you again! You saved our trip!

Best place ever they are so nice and can fix it all!

If you are looking for an honest, affordable and professional mechanic go here. I am a college student and this place saved me $1,250. My check engine light was on and my registration was expiring soon. I was quoted $2,300 to fix the issues. I went with the cheapest local mechanic I can find with 4.9 stars. They quoted me $1,100 to fix the first code and $400 to fix the second. I had my appointment made and everything. Last minute someone recommended me Doug’s and I took a chance to go and have them look at it the same day I called. They looked at it and within 20 minutes they turned the check engine off. They told me this was to hopefully get the first code not to turn on (the more expensive one). When the check engine light turned on again they checked and only the second code turned on and I made an appointment with them to fix it the next day. Got it fixed for $250. Passed emissions and got registration and everything. Done within 2 days! No mechanic even tried to turn off the first code. So I never knew that was an option and thought for sure I was going to spend at least $1,500. I’ve been driving it for a few days and the check engine light is still off! LITERALLY THE BEST AND MOST HONEST MECHANIC IVE BEEN TO PLUS INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!

I called here at a friends recommendation and very nervously. Doug was kind, funny and willing to accept my towed in vehicle at almost 5pm on a Friday and holiday weekend. Jake put in my new alternator and had my vehicle ready by 10am the following day! Absolutely fantastic service. Fair pricing and quality work. My vehicle runs! Highly recommend.

Hands down the most competent mechanics around and are the only people that I trust my vehicle with. I haven't lived within a 45 minute drive of Doug's Auto in years and still refuse to take my car anywhere else. Would rate 6 stars if I could, will be back time and time again, and will not refer my friends to anybody else.

Doug is super friendly. I felt like this is an honest place considering my brakes were bad but they didn’t make me replace the rotors or pressure me to do the back brakes. I did anyways since they would go bad soon enough. Nice family ran place.

Needed quite a few things done to my car. I didn't think I'd get it back the same day let alone before 5, but i was wrong on both accounts. Plus, they did an excellent job. As far as price goes, I think for what I needed done it would've been expensive no matter where I took it but Doug was honest. I thought I needed a few more things done than what I actually needed and he was honest and didn't just do it to get paid.

Zach and his wife were awesome at accommodating my needs in order to work on my car. Their shop is very clean and they provide a majority of the tools you need to work on a car. At the top of the list is a lift to easily work underneath! Very professional and at a great price per hour! I'm happy I now know this is very near my house in Springville for all my future car repairs. Highly recommend!

I called Doug on a Friday with a broken truck that needed a clutch replaced. I was in a time crunch and needed to be on the road Tuesday morning. He was able to squeeze me in on the next Monday, got my truck fixed and I was able to get on the road Monday afternoon. Thanks Doug! Your team was so awesome!

Absolutely fantastic, I will not go anywhere else for car repairs! This was actually my second time bringing my vehicle into Doug’s. The first time, my car was making a weird noise and I had brought it to a different shop prior. That shop had given me a rather high repair quote so I wanted to get a second opinion. Doug’s team thoroughly inspected the car but did not find any issues. They recommended I continue driving and bring it in should anything change, but at this point there was nothing to fix and no need to waste my money. I was so sincerely appreciative of their willingness to be honest, even if it meant potentially “losing money”. I came back again today to get an oil change, and there was also a piece of plastic on the bottom of the car that had come loose due to a pothole. I mentioned this beforehand and Doug was kind enough to secure/remove it free of charge! They also did not try to upsell me on anything which I feel happens every time I go to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. Both times when I called in asking for an appointment they were very upfront with me about realistic availability and wait times. The first time I was able to get in literally within 30 minutes of calling them. The next time was right before Christmas so he was pretty backed up, so I just waited a few days and he was able to fit me right in. I will definitely be coming back here again for all future repair needs. Thank you!

Fantastic service. I usually hate having to deal with mechanic services because of scheduling conflicts and speed of service, but Doug’s was a great experience. I had to get my serpentine belts replaced before I went out of town and Doug’s was the only place I called that could squeeze me in as soon as possible. They were able to get the job done in 2 hours even though it was a busy morning. I can tell these guys deal with crap all the time, but they handle themselves professionally. I will definitely make Doug’s my preferred place for mechanic services.

Doug is the best in the area by far. Fair, honest, and straightforward. Finally a mechanic I can trust. He loves cars and his customers and it shows. Doug’s and his wife’s Mustangs plus his Ford GT are all wonderfully cared for and worked on by him and his shop too. Great guy. He even made time for me for a last minute appointment. I’ve been taking my car to Doug’s Auto for a few years. Never been disappointed. I first brought the car to them when others in the area tried to overcharge me, and Doug provided a more reasonable price. Today, I thought I had been undercharged and returned to check; Doug smiled and said the part was cheaper than they thought and that it was easier to quote higher and charge less than the other way around. Who else does that in today’s world? I went from people trying to overcharge me (multiple places and by a lot of money) to a man who is willing to charge less when he can.

Doug and his team are honest, fair and kind. They’re all around great people. I’ve used them many times to work on our cars. Yesterday I had him look at our 2014 minivan. I was expecting it to need major repairs. Because Doug’s team is so great, you sometimes have to wait awhile to get your vehicle in. I had to wait 2 weeks. During that time, I had it checked out by another mechanic who said it needed major repairs starting at over $4k and it could go up from there “because the price of parts is increasing.” We were so stressed out! My husband and I decided to wait and see what Doug said because we trust him. Well, Doug and his team fixed it for around $365. My husband asked if I forgot a zero. No, I didn’t. Doug saved us at least $3,900. Go to Doug. He and his sons and staff are fair, honest, and they’ll take care of your car. Also, he told me that if my check engine light comes back on that I can bring it back in for a free recheck. Seriously, it’s the best mechanic shop I know of and we’ve lived in Utah County for 26 years.
