Doug may seem intimidating; he's not. The fact that he is unwilling to quote a price for a major repair over the phone before he even sees your car is a testament to how honest he is. He's not going to quote some ridiculous price just to get you in the door just to jack it up later.

My 04 civic was overheating took it to Doug at lone wolf and he Replaced radiator upper & lower hose gasket and a cooling fan quick and it’s been 4 months and the car runs great hasn’t heated up or giving any more problems differently recommended and will continue to go back for service on all my vehicles.
I deliver auto parts there. The owner reminds me of the older hippies, he has a sweet heart for dogs and she’s always been kind to me. I love his branding and the name of his place!
Most honest and sincere mechanic I have met. He told me everything that was wrong with my vehicle but didn’t use pushy sales tactics to try to convince me to do the work. He told me what needed to be taken care of and the urgency behind each part. Very knowledgeable and does quick work.

I would NEVER trust anyone else with my vehicles. Over the past 10 years, Doug has worked/repaired our 69 mustang, 70 something Chev, 02 Acura mdx, 08 Acura MDX and recently pre inspected my 2015 Toyota Highlander before I purchased it. Pretty soon I'll have a new teen driver on the road (watch out Davis county) and Doug will be helping us out with that as well. He truly is honest which is the number one reason we keep going back. #2 reason is he has a cool shop dog named Sadie and shop cat named Hitler (only because she has the mustache face no other reference intended) that my kids and I like to visit. #3 is he knows his stuff inside and out. He educates you on the how's and the why's. He will be our lifelong mechanic.!!
I never saw such a humble person who knows exactly how to treat a Car. I went to Doug for pre-purchase inspection and believe me he took 40 minutes to carefully examine the car. He tested every detail of the engine and checked each nook and corner. He has a really sharp eye and found all the existing problems in the vehicle. I really loved his service, his attitude, and obviously his two PETS. I simply loved the overall experience. I would definitely go there again.

Doug is a great guy. My family and I were returning from a trip when our car broke down. It was late about 7pm, I found his number and called him, to my surprise he picked up and was very helpful. He waited for us to get our car to him and gave us a quote that was a great price. He went above and beyond for us I would recommend him to everyone. So nice to have a guy you can trust completely. He doesn't look for ways to cut corners or upsell you on stuff you don't necessarily need. I can't say enough positive about our experience. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Doug is awesome. He is a great mechanic and most importantly he is honest and a man of integrity and will go the extra mile. He replaced my starter and later it went out again under warranty. He replaced it again at no cost and helped with the towing cost.

My family was headed to SLC from Idaho to pickup our sisters from the airport. One of my sisters had passed away that day, hence the others flying in. My car's water pump broke, stranding us. Doug was not only open, but honest, fast, cheap, knowledgeable, respectful, and overall one of the best mechanics I have ever worked with, if not the best.
The only downside to working with him is the knowledge that I do not live close enough to have him be my dedicated mechanic.

Doug is one of the most knowledgeable and honest mechanics I know. Doug will be upfront and let you know the best action to take to repair your vehicle. He does amazing fabrication and custom work, or he can keep your daily driver on the road for a competitive price. I have a classic Cadillac that needs a lot of TLC under the hood and Lone Wolf is the place to have it done, V8's and lots of power are no problem there.
Went to Lone Wolf when my car wasn't running well; they were recommended to me by a friend. Doug quickly found out was was wrong, and fixed it in a jiffy! Lone Wolf has the best prices, absolutely unbeatable, and Doug is the most honest mechanic I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
