Wilson Automotive is my new mechanic. I had a faulty sensor, which they changed quickly while i was there. I have an older car, and they found a hose boot that had been really damaged w driving. They found the difficult part quickly and got it in sooner than thought! They showed me any repair, were very helpful. I was very pleased w their work and felt well taken care of.
This is a crooked place to take your vehicle for repair. I got charged $474.68 to have a battery change. I changed the battery one year ago got it from Interstate batteries and for some reason one of the cells was down or drained and my key got stuck inside the ignition 2005 Audi a six so I didn’t think it would be the battery. I thought it could be something major electronic problem so I took it there to Wilson automotive and that’s how they will take advantage of you. Caution do not go there !!!!!! Do not go there!!!!
Originally said they could work on it that day. Waited all day and no call. Called them. They hadn’t even looked at the vehicle. Waited until the following day. Still no call. Called them. Hadn’t yet looked at it. When I asked why they said they got busy.
Well…. Communication would be helpful. Eventually they were able to look at it. A bit expensive for the fix, but they were at least honest about the repair…. Which is rare these days, so I appreciated that.
My family has been taking our cars to Wilson’s automotive for years. Their prices are very fair, they’re honest and always let you know what’s going and what’s needed to take care of things quickly. We’ve always been very impressed with Wilson’s automotive. I highly recommend giving them a shot if you haven’t in the past.
Elroy Wilson Automotive is the most reputable buisness, they fix your car better than the dealer. And they are very honest. And friendly And thats a rare trait these days.
Great friendly service. Didn't push things to be done on my vehicle that were not absolutely necessary. Knowledgeable Techs that got the job done quickly and they were very reasonable on the price. They have taken care of many of my vehicles for many years. I trust them and count on them for their service.
My daughter had her radiator fail on I-15 and her car overheated. I randomly picked their shop off Google maps and I am very glad I did. They were incredibly nice and had the radiator replaced for a good price in 2 hours. Incredible auto shop.
I was about to buy a car that I thought looked great but decided to run it by a mechanic just for a sound mind. They were able to identify some evidence of a crash that the seller did not disclose and helped me dodge a potential bullet. We take all our fleet vehicles to Wilson and they have treated us great.
Great shop. I take all my cars here. Their prices are better than most I have found in the area and better than any dealer. I feel like I'm getting honest answers to my car problems and quality work.
Wilson has done several repairs for me. Everytime their prices are so fair and reasonable. They are also pierpont prompt when I bring in my car they get it done quickly (unlike other places where it sits for a while before they finally get to it. Wilson is the only place I take my cars now, I cannot recommend them enough!!
I love going here because I know I won't be ripped off with something I don't need I would give them more stars if it were possible. The owner Shawn is a great guy!
Elroy no longer runs the shop it is son. He is very unethical I go in with a problem quoted at amount i say this is all I have I do not have any more money so he takes my name and number on a post it and said he would call if it was more. I go to pick up my car and the bill is 3 times more than the quote I did not get a call he said oh thought i could just fix it when he knew that was untrue cause he took my name and number down to call. My daughter has serveral mechanic friend's and she told me that it is pretty much standard to call a customer on any repairs that are made just so this doesn't happen. I think his son needed money and made off me he did let me make payments the part is not fully functioning and I dont know if I let him touch my car cause since i did another small electrical problem came up i am at a point i have to let another mechanic look at what he acutely did before i pay more money
This is the greatest auto shop ever!! It really hard to find an honest auto shop that you can trust. You can trust Elroys. These guys fixed my old truck a d did an among job!!!!!!
We have lived in Centerville for over 20 years. We have been taking our cars to them, since we moved to Centerville. They are honest and will work with you. It is a family owned business. They will always give you a price before they work on your car.

These guys will do everything they can to save money for their customers - before recommending the big jobs that would line their pockets. We NEVER question their motives or suggestions. The term "honest mechanic" is an oxymoron these days - but we've been going here first for 20 years - and we totally trust Elroy, Collin and the guys who work here. And, when they do work - it's at a fair price, or they'll just say "Heh, if that little tweak worked, you can pay us later". How rare is that? They turn the tables and make their customers honest. See if YOUR mechanic will do that!! Wilson Automotive is the best!
