This used to be my place to drop off used motor oil. Didn't know the City of Pflugerville was so hard up they needed to charge for that now. No thanks, I'll take it to AutoZone for free. Looks like the higher taxes and utility rates I'm paying are going to good use.
Have dropped off some cardboard board boxes and a couple of leaf bags with small brushes more recently. Pretty convenient and accessible with good staff at post!
Always cheerful and courteous and willing to address any question. Recommend it and the employees highly. Esmi is a tremendous asset to the city and this program.
Recently bought a house in Blackhawk subdivision off Rowe Lane and apparently despite paying the City of Pflugerville for trash and recycling pickup, I must still pay $15 extra to drive leaves I raked up in my Pflugerville yard to this Pflugerville facility.... since the weekly Pflugerville trash/recycling pickup guys won't pick it up from my curb.
The on-site attendant was very nice and said the additional fees per visit had something to do with a lawsuit between Austin and Pflugerville and in the future if I did not want to pay the fees I could drive my raked up leaves to the Austin recycling center.
This despite the fact that my electric, water and gas address is Pflugerville, the USPS and Amazon deliver to my house in Pflugerville, the $15k property tax bill I just paid states Pflugerville and my driver's license, voter registration and passport state that I live in Pflugerville.
Politicians and tax revenue.... a bunch of clowns.
Nothing like loading up your vehicle to find out that information on Google isn’t correct hours of operation. I recommend calling the number to confirm.
Never any problems. 9am-5pm on Fridays and mondays also a short period of time on saturday. There's a guy that verifies Pflugerville residency at gate and then you can take brush, limbs, appliances, motor oil, boxes, etc. Take advantage of a free service. No phone number because there's no secretary. They also mulch up the brush and limbs to offer FREE mulch. Goes fast so get there early people. No contractors allowed to dump, residents only!
Terrible! Their Web site says the close at 6pm!!! But their gate sign says 5pm!? Their phnone number is disconnected. Who needs to be fired!? I'll be finding out and making THAT happen!
