My store will never buy from this company again.
Sent the wrong part for my order. Had to call multiple times with over 15 minute wait periods or more to get someone on the phone during totally normal business hours and outside of typical break times.
When my correct part got here I was asked to pay a second time. Who would do that.
Had to wait for 20 minutes for the manager to confirm I had already paid and that THEY screwed up when picking the order in the warehouse.
I waited so long on the phone with the driver itching to leave that I called the main 800 number and called accounts receivable to see if they could confirm my invoice was already paid. I was told “The company that bought us 5 years ago doesn’t believe in swaps”.
So they wanted me to pay twice AND judging by these reviews I would have had hell getting my money back on the original order.
It took my rejecting the order and positioning to send the driver back empty handed before they made the right decision to swap the part.
Bear in mind there was no price difference, my original invoice had the correct part number but the item brought to me was wrong. Nobody in their right mind would or should pay twice for a single order. I’d give 0 stars if it were possible.
I would not buy any parts from this company anymore. send me the wrong part twice, now I have problem to get my money back from them. They just running me around.
I am the owner of a body shop that I have ran for 30 years who has been buying from this company for years and while they do have a great selection of parts they have recently they have adopted the worst policies I have seen out of all the parts distributors(they are the only company that have a restocking fee for returned parts and will lie saying other companies do to, and they are the only company that charges a fuel surcharge for delivery and returns) I have worked with there are a lot of better aftermarket part distributors that have better policies this company has permanently lost our shop as a customer and upon telling them they still give you attitude instead of trying to solve the issue
Called this morning at 11 was told they had parts in stock drive 2 hours and was told they were in stock but in another warehouse 4 hours away
Horrible service
I needed a new hood for my honda and the local auto dealers wanted too much $$$ so I found this place in Austin and saved myself over $200. It was definitely worth the drive from San Antonio. I wish they were closer to San A. so I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5.
I have ordered parts from Mark and the other staff at National for over 5 years now. It is great to call a vendor who knows their inventory, as well as its applications. They are very thorough and easy to communicate with. Deliveries are dependable and timely. I use them for the majority of my non- OEM collision repair products, and will continue to do so. I have used the others, but find that the quality of service at National is above and beyond the other "old hats" in town. Do yourself a favor and call Mark or any of the other folks for an easy part-buying experience.
I bought a few parts over the years ordering from their main store in Dallas and now we can just stop by & get our auto parts from their new store location in Pflugerville. Very convenient and still very good prices compared to what you pay at dealerships!
We were looking for a replacement headlight for our car and found these guys in N. Austin. They sell mostly to bodyshops but they also sell to general public. They have tons of auto parts in stock and great prices. Also good to know when we need something for our 2nd car.
