As usually they like to leave early and turn us away with a load this yard stops taking loads at 3:50 even though they close at 4:00 and there Google hours are wrong

These guys are terrible... I called them and asked what time they close. They said 1130 I get there at 11 0 5. He says over the machine shuts down at 11. This guy needs a new watch... They did this to me if you munched back I called. I said we closed eleven thirty I got there eleven fifteen all we closed at eleven. I don't understand everybody wants to go home early but just tell me what time you close save me a trip! I don't recommend these company to anybody

The service is super bad. I brought two old dishwashers and they gave me 3 dollars. Very bad. I don't recommend it.

I do not recommend this place at all. Had to wait in the rain, not in my vehicle. The most recycled product ever, they don't take, is aluminum cans. Never heard of that. This place also didn't put down the right scale weight. Copper was weighted at number 2, when I had #1 also. Been running around looking for their bank. Don't go there.

They only did it for the thin copper when I had thick in there mostly. So separate you’re wires

100 lbs. Aluminum all sorted and they said throw all in the same bin. 8 cents for a radiator. 17 bucks total. Rude. No wonder they had no other customers. Will never go back even though it is across the street from me.

I cringe when I have to take anything to scrap here. I have a Purple Passion against this Scrap Yard. Other reviews read how rude the employees are. I believe they all think they are part owners.So they get a little controlling. IT'S absolutely ridiculous here but sometimes I feel I have to go here yes it's my fault for going there just gets my anxiety up to be grilled about this or that. But if your up for a little longer drive best place to go is Sweeny Recycling not far from Bay City pay is so much more not as critical as Texas Ports weeny doesn't look for every screw or every dirty can so they can deduct on already low prices.$8 @ 100 is worth the drive. Aluminum is 40 cents a lb #1 Copper is $ 3.30 and #2 $3lb 15 cents for Aluminum isn't squat to drive to Victoria. Save it till I have 3 or 400 lbs or I will do a little less at Texas Port Recycling. I'll only go when I feel I don't have enough of a load to drive to Sweeny Tx.

Except for the price of metal being low. Good service. In and out. Had to scrap a large sign cabinet requiring help to unload. Beautiful.

These are some of the rudest folks for miles around. I have gone there 3x in the last year with a trailer load of scrap from my company. At least they are consistent in their treatment of others, they are rude to everyone. And not just one of them, all of them I have encountered so far. This must be a terrible place to work!

Easy to get in and out. Problem is the low price paid. $2.50 per 100 lbs of metal

Zero tolerance for any screws in aluminum whatsoever. Also they have a sense of entitlement. Most places are fine giving benefit of the doubt for a few screws here and there, or they’ll knock off a few cents. Not these guys. EXACT same scrap (in fact, probably cleaner) we’ve been getting 70 cents a pound for all over Dallas was 31 cents here. They “did me a favor” and got it to 36 cents. Not much local competition probably explains the approach and the price. Beats a poke in the eye I suppose.

Pay pretty well and have fair scales unlike some other places. I have been to there yard in Houston and its pretty good too.

Old white guy almost got scrapped with his "I hate my job, and my life" attitude. But I'm a child of God so we spared him.
