USSA CUSTOMER REVIEW: I selected Crash Champions based on USAA’s recommendation and the assurance that they are a trusted partner shop. The intake was smooth and initially gave me confidence the work would be handled correctly. That confidence quickly disappeared once the vehicle was returned. Despite a mandatory final inspection process, my vehicle was released with an obvious defect on a repaired door panel. The flaw was large enough that no reasonable inspector could have missed it. That raises a serious concern: either the inspection never occurred, or the shop knowingly returned a defective repair hoping I would not notice. Both possibilities reflect an unacceptable breach of quality control and consumer trust. After receiving the vehicle, there was complete radio silence. USAA notified me three separate times that the shop would be reaching out. They never did. Nearly two weeks passed without a single follow-up, forcing me to escalate the issue myself. This is not a “minor inconvenience,” it is a breakdown of basic communication obligations that every collision repair facility owes its customers, especially when operating under insurer referral partnerships. When I finally reached management, the response was dismissive and indifferent. No apology, no acknowledgment of the disruption, no explanation for how a warranted repair failed inspection, and no discussion of corrective actions. I was simply told I could “drop the vehicle off,” as if my time, my family situation, and the shop’s own error were irrelevant. That is not customer service. It is avoidance. To correct their own workmanship failure, the door now requires full removal and repainting under warranty work that should have been unnecessary had the job been done and inspected properly. Yet the shop refused to cover a rental vehicle that would reasonably accommodate my family during the renewed repair period, despite the fact that this entire situation stems from their negligence. As a disabled veteran and longtime USAA member, the lack of accountability was both insulting and revealing. From a consumer rights standpoint, this experience raises legitimate concerns regarding quality assurance, implied warranty of workmanship, failure to follow insurer communication requirements, and potential bad faith conduct in handling rentals and accommodations related to rework. These are not trivial issues. From a USAA standpoint, Crash Champions’ conduct reflects directly on USAA’s standards, partner network credibility, and referral ecosystem. If a partner shop treats a USAA member—and a veteran—this way, then USAA’s partnership with that shop deserves scrutiny. Poor workmanship, avoidance behavior, and disregard for customer impact will ultimately put the insurer relationship at risk because negative referral outcomes are cumulative and material. If given the choice again, I would not use Crash Champions and would instead exercise my right to select an independent shop of my choosing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Crash Champions to other USAA members, veterans, or consumers who expect accountability, communication, and basic respect for the customer’s time and circumstances. Additional Developments After Warranty Return: It took an additional month for the warranty to be completed, and for my vehicle to finally be returned. Even after this extended delay, the vehicle was nearly released back to me a second time with another clearly noticeable defect, this time involving a chrome door trim piece that was visibly peeling. This issue was identified prior to final delivery and corrected shortly after discovery, but the fact that it progressed to the point of near release again demonstrates a continued lack of proper final inspection procedures and quality assurance. While I can say I'm pleased now with the work, it undermines the customer to make a second attempt to return my vehicle without a quality final inspection process occurring and only further reflects poorly.

I had an amazing experience at Crash Champions, and Ricki truly went above and beyond. From start to finish, he was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive. I mentioned a few small things I didn’t love about my car, and without hesitation he took the extra time to buff out areas and fix things I wasn’t even expecting to be addressed. What really stood out was how seriously he took every concern I had — even the smallest ones. If I pointed something out, Ricki made sure it was handled thoroughly and never made me feel rushed or brushed off. His customer service was exceptional, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about doing the job right and making sure customers leave happy. If you’re going to Crash Champions in Conroe, ask for Ricki. He truly does the most and makes the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommend!

This was my first time straying from my usual location from Lake Conroe. Cole “took a look” and promised me a quote by the end of the day. Lake Conroe will keep my car and do a thorough inspection to have a parts list ready for me. Completely wasted my time and regret trusting just the name Crash Champions. Do better.

The whole experience was great! From start to end they were communicating with me about my vehicles timeline of how long it was going to take in their shop from the disassembly to the reassembling . I truly appreciated how they were also able to help me with transportation to and from my home since I lived incredibly close to the shop. From the joyful receptionist to the professional intern I can confidently say that I was completely satisfied with their job! Also, they vacuumed my car before handing it back to me and I wasn’t aware they were gonna do that so It was like the cherry on-top. I can’t comment on price since I came to them through my insurance but if you have allstate I def recommend going with them!!!

Crash Champions, indeed the name is appropriate. The tenor of service provided from day one, was stellar. 1). They coordinated with my insurance company, dispatching a wrecker to pickup my vehicle. 2). As well they contacted Enterprise Rent-a-car to pick me up at the Crash Champions location. 3). In their projected estimate of repair of my vehicle, they provided, a date of expected repair completion. 4). In addition Crash Champions sent daily text messages to inform me of the status of repairs. 5). The repairs were not only timely, they were completed 4 days earlier than projected. A final text message, was received informing me my vehicle was ready! The message also informed that they would contact Enterprise-Rent-a-car to pick up the car, from Crash Champions. 6). The text included a link if desired, to pay the deductible, prior to arrival, for further convenience, if desired. Shortly after receiving the text, I arrived to pickup my vehicle. 7). The work (collision repair) was stellar, the customer service stellar, the timeliness of repair was stellar. 8). The detailed (itemized summary) parts supplier list provided was stellar, listing the 39 supplier's, including the supplier's exact location, address, and telephone numbers, including a description of parts, and prices. 9). In addition to all this, Crash Champions ensures a Lifetime guarantee concerning the repairs. 10). I appreciate Farmers, my insurance company for choosing such a stellar company as Crash Champions, for their customers. 11). I appreciate Crash Champions choice of stellar members for their repair team. I especially appreciate the stellar service provided by Ricky Stanley, who so professionally, and kindly assisted me, upon arrival, who kept me informed via text, and texted me with the final text, that repairs were completed, and, as well left a voice message, to make sure I was notified. Which is noteworthy, considering it was Saturday, his off-day. Stellar indeed. The location of service repair: 2575 Interstate 45 N, Conroe, Texas 12). I do not recommend this place!!! Had my car for 2 months!!! Service is unreal!! Paint on car stands out!! Two different colors!!! Continuous back and forth with these people to make my car 100% from wind damage!! Never painted correctly!!! Still dealing with insurance to find someone to paint my vehicle one color!!! Pissed customer!!! Update on this review !! Took vehicle to another professional paint shop!! There update trash in paint!! Multi paint colors!! Spots in paint!! Very irritating dealing with this company and there work!!!

I hit a pole in my new truck. It only took them a week and a half to finish all repairs. All OE Chevy parts. They gave me detailed info, when I wanted updates. Great customer service. Would recommend them, over other body shops.

Excellent experience with Crash Champions. They were professional through the whole experience of getting my car repaired. You can tell it was repaired only because they did such a great job, the whole front end looks brand new now. Paint matched perfectly. There was an issue with my wheel lock adapter getting lost, but I took it back and they ordered a new wheel lock set and replaced them for free. I would recommend.

I have used this business several times over the years. Always top notch work. Have never had to take a vehicle back on any made repairs. The customer service is over the top good. Constant communication on where they are on the repair process and always treated with kindness, respect and concern, I highly recommend if you get in a fender bender take your car to this shop!

The young lady Jessy, made my first car repair go smoothly and gave me a sense of "everything is going to be OK" kinda feeling. The absolute worst auto repair I have ever had. The back door to my Kia Sedona was not put on right. You have to slam the door as hard as possible for the door to stay closed. If not the smallest bump knocks it lose. Also since the door was not put on properly it slams into my bumped and tail lights every time you close it. The paint is chipping off the bottom of the door from hitting the bumper every time it closes and one of my tail lights is now cracked, taking in moisture, and the blinker has quit working. I don't have the time to take it back up there so I am just stuck with a horrible repair job for now. I would not recommend Service King to anyone.

Ashley was real polite and helpful taking pics for my quote for my damaged Lexus very quickly on Tuesday ... Backed up with work she thought it could be up to a week to get my quote and I received my quote to my AAA Insurance the next day on Wednesday. I also talked to David in Monday the day before who took a note because Ashley was not in at that time. I am glad I chose Service King Collision for my repairs. They continually kept me updated on the status of repairs and expected completion date. They were faster on the turn around time than the dealership had quoted me. They staff was always friendly and courteous. I would recommend them and will use them again if needed.

My car was hit while I was at work. Once they took receipt of my car, aw week later, it took another three weeks to complete the repairs. A week or so later I had the work inspected at another shop. Everything was fine aside from the steering wheel alignment, which was slightly off. Overall a good experience.

Service King in Conroe does excellent paint matching. The color on my FRS is called Raven and it looks black but it color changes like a Raven. I thought there was no way they would be able to match that color but they did. When a truck backed into the Fiat I knew that Service King would do an excellent job again and they did. The ladies at the front desk are friendly, the paint and body technicians do qualify work and do recommend them.

My husband and I were in a car accident in January of this year, well my insurance dropped the ball and failed to let me know that they would only cover 30 days of the car rental. They told me that I needed to return the rental "tomorrow" I was hurt from the accident, stressed out and had a lot of anxiety and they laid that on top of all what I was going through! I had been at my new job for like 3 months and I couldn't afford to lose my job nor pay for a rental for weeks! Well long story short, I called Service King and asked how much longer before my car would be ready? Service King stated that the parts were on back order due to the downfall the dealerships and parts departments were having from covid, and that it might take up to another "30" days!! Out of the kindness of their hearts they heard the distress in my voice about the car rental needing to be returned so they offered to pay the rent a car for the rest of the time they would be working on my car!! I was so thankful and blessed to have them working on my car as I knew at that moment that these people do care for their customers more than I thought! My car was almost totaled and it looks like I took it out of the dealership, brand new!!! Also the staff is very professional. Caring and AMAZING!! Thank you Service King!!

Absolutely fabulous experience. Sam at the front is a sweetheart and Ricky (my tech) did excellent work on my Mini Cooper and kept me up to date on everything going on with my car!! I am very impressed by their level of professionalism and customer service. I have gotten my car fixed by other service King’s in the past. There is no other place I will trust with my Mini Cooper!

I've always had great experiences here. All staff has always been very helpful, but this particular time Samantha was awesome. Very friendly & helpful. She kept me updated on my car. She handled everything with my insurance. Plus they do great work. My car looks great.

Great service. Very good workmanship. I went by reviews and chose them and I was happy I did. Not the first time I had a collision repair but the best one so far. I would for sure say they got it original look. A pleasant team to work with and makes you feel welcome as well. James and Richard were great people. Would highly recommend.

I did not have a choice in going here because this is the place the insurance company of the person who hit me had me take my car. I've never been to a mainstream mechanic I always think they are scam artist (reserving my 5th star for that in the future if I need to edit). Anyway the staff at this location were really great. I like that they had Enterprise on-site for me to pick up my rental at the same time. The convenience of that made an already stressful thing, less so. I liked the email updates on my car, while it was off by a day, it still took less time than I thought it would to repair the front right fender and bumper. The car looks brand new on that end. I almost want them to fix the rest of it! Rick was really great and down to earth. I didn't have a whole lot of questions about the repairs, maybe I should have asked, but he was straightforward with the main things I wanted to know. My car drives just like it did, maybe a little bit better than when i brought it in. So far, I really have no complaints. This location in particular, I do like. All locations are different, but as far as I'm concerned they did a good job in positively promoting Service King overall. I hope I don't need to see them again, but if I do, I feel comfortable in them being able to get the job done and get it done right. (Pictures to come).

I used this facility in January. 2018, and was COMPLETELY SATISFIED with their expertise and professionalism. The office staff was very knowledgeable and very courteous. Mr. James Grimes was so helpful and kept me informed every day or so about the progress of the repair of my vehicle.
