I've been to Texas port a number of time a couple years back and from my experience their typically a good scrap yard and pay fair prices but recently I went to scrap with some bear bright and got it graded as number two I'm an electrician and been scrapping for multiple years now I'm well aware of the difference (The stuff I brought in had zero coating nor burn marks) I'm hopeful that this is lack of experience by an employee and not a reflection of the scrap yard as a whole Don't be an idiot like me and please make sure to check your ticket before you leave sadly I did not see that it was graded like that till I went to deposit the check a couple weeks later

They're giving a pretty decent rate, especially compared to other places I've gone to before! I walked away with much more than I expected for my scrap cans!
It gets 2 stars for being big and clean but the people are rude and there times sucks. You have to be there 15-20 mins be closing time or they wont help you and tell you they are closed
Staff is great and facilities are clean, clean, clean. You don't run over metal or any items when bringing a trailer. I have taken my cans there for several years now. Most convenient set up for it that I have seen
Helped me out in a nylon bind to get rid of about thirty plus pounds of empty beer cans after a huge crawfish boil for the past few weeks & stayed open after normal business hours, so definitely great folks here! Highly recommend.
Experience was really easy. Employee was friendly, informative and helpful. He even helped me unload my metal from my trunk, as I was struggling with. The entire process from weighting in to cashing out was less than 10 minutes.
Every time I’ve been here they’ve been extremely helpful and friendly. The prices they pay are fair and in line with what is typical. It’s also clean and very professional.
This was my first visit there. Antoine, Shane, and Vanessa were so very helpful, courteous, and friendly. An easy process, the staff made it even easier. And it's nice to get some money for your recyclables. I highly recommend it!
