My experience for the second time was not so good. I was left feeling that I was being over charged and a lot of excuses to why my car just set at shop for a week. I will never use your services again. My service was never even completely. $800 for a hose for a PCV valve is outrageous. Trying to charge $300 for a diagnostic is just the start of many outrageous charges I was quoted.

Had an RV problem while travelling. The service rep was very helpful and got me in right away. The tech was knowledgable and expland things to me. We were back on the road two hours later. The facility is spotless front to back and is equipped with the latest technology. I was very happy to find Milstead.

Milstead Service Center & Towing came to our rescue when our Class A RV broke down in a gas station parking lot. They quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the DEF head. Sean, the customer service representative, kept us informed every step of the way, and we had our RV back within just a couple of days. Excellent service and a professional, caring staff. Thank you!

Wasn’t happy at all. Paid for a diagnosis and a battery that didn’t solve my problem (600+ dollars) then paid out of pocket for tow just to get a so called “courtesy”diagnosis, only to be charged with a 400 dollars diagnostic to perform an expensive job when all I really need was a sensor. Said I need a bunch of harnessess for roof which would cost over 3000 dollars to fix. Can’t trust this company if they keep charging me money and can’t fix the problem. Imagine paying 3k and the problem still persists.

I am the director of my Seventh-Day Adventist Church’s youth club called the “Conroe Cougars Pathfinder Club.” We were going on a camping trip and found out late that our coach bus needed repairs in order to make the trip. Millstead Service Center was super gracious and accommodating and worked very hard with us to complete the essential repairs to allow us to go on our camping trip. We will forever be grateful to them!!

Come on down to Milstead’s Service Center! Where timelines are flexible, updates are optional, and customers are encouraged to call repeatedly for basic information. At Milstead’s, we’ll confidently tell you your vehicle will be seen immediately once towed in. What happens next is part of the experience: several days of silence, no diagnosis, no parts ordered, and no updates unless you call and ask. Repeatedly. Prefer transparency? Even better. You can request daily updates and enjoy receiving none of them — until you independently track down the owner’s contact information after the manager refuses to provide it. Once ownership gets involved, we proudly demonstrate that communication was possible the entire time. We do eventually fix the car. That box gets checked. But the real value-add comes after pickup. At Milstead’s, we may remove cosmetic modifications from your vehicle — like black window trim wrap — without your knowledge, consent, or disclosure. It won’t be mentioned. It won’t be documented. You’ll just notice it later and wonder what else changed. If you return to ask about it, accountability is optional. We may offer to “fix it ourselves,” which pairs nicely with the overall experience. So if you’re looking for terrible management, minimal transparency, and a little post-service detective work, Milstead Service Center has you covered. Quoted $1700 for spark plug replacements after they had my car in the shop for over 2 days! They didn't even look at the second issue I brought up but they quoted me for 2 other jobs on top of that. I had to call for every single update, they lied when they told me they were getting it in for a diagnostic, and acted surprised when I asked about $700 of labor for a 2 hour job. No sense of urgency or honesty towards the customer. Don't go here Edit: if that's an acceptable price, then why, when I called and asked about the labor, did your guy tell me it was wrong and then never reach out to me after that?

Took my car in to check it with short notice because my abs light was coming on - diagnosed it within ten minutes and told me exactly what I needed to do. Recommend them without question. Will be back as they have earned our business- thank you so much for your prompt and efficient service

They took forever checking my car when all I asked about was my breaks. Then when the guy finally let me know what was going on he came to me with over $1300 worth of work that needed to be done. Thanks for letting me know but I couldn't afford. So when I declined his whole demeanor shifted. I literally had to wait almost another hour just for them to bring my car back around. And when they did they left their greasy paper and plastic in my car. My car stinks and so does their customer service.

Charged my aunt over $350 to get her headlights replaced. They told her the job was done. She just took their word for it. She complained to me that the lights looked the same so I took a look myself, and the lights were definitely not replaced. I told my aunt to go back and tell them to them to replace them. When she went back, they told her there was nothing they could do and that the lights had been replaced. Dirty liars

I went in for brakes and the brakes were fine but the bushings were bad causing the noise. They fixed it and it drives quiet and much better. Thank you. I will be back and have been back with both my van and my daughter's truck. Still love them.

Milstead Service Center did a great job with the issue I had. The service coordinator, Matt, did a great job scheduling and ordering parts needed for the repair! I highly recommend Milstead Service Center for any RV repair work you may need!

Everyone here was extremely helpful and super nice. They helped get my car back to me fast and were really helpful explaining everything. I don’t know anything about cars but they explained everything in a way that made sense. Really appreciate this place!

I needed my Mercedes towed to a repair shop 5 miles from my home. I called this company because I used them in the past. The driver comes to my home. My front suspension was low due to air suspension issue. My car was in my driveway. I asked the driver can he do the job. His response was no problem. He backed his flat bed into my driveway. He put some boards down on the ground a distance away from the front tires. Which I thought was stranger but I figured he knew what he was doing. He proceeded to back my car up. Then I heard my bumper dragging on the ground. I go to that side of the car and my bumper was on the ground. The driver stops the car and pulls forward a little bit and gets out to see. My bumper was still touching the ground. He attempted to act like he didn't see the damage. Then he put the boards closer and finally gets my car on the wrecker. After he drops the car off at the repair shop. I called the the tow company and spoke with a lady and told her about the incident. She told me the General manager would call me. He never did. So 3 days later once I got my car back from the repair suspension. I took it to get a estimate for the damages. I called the company back and told them I have a estimate for the repairs to my vehicle. The lady at their company was rude and nasty. She told me my car was already damaged. Which is a BOLD FACE LIE. She didn't say well send us the pictures you have and we will review those pictures. No... she basically called me a LIAR The lady then rudely said here's the mangers number and hung up the phone. Very nasty and unprofessional. I had to call back to get the mangers number. I called the number she gave me and it went back to her. They play games at this company I see. Very unprofessional and rude. A good company is supposed to hear you issues and investigate the problem. They did none of that. The one thing they don't realize it's 2025 almost everybody has security home cameras and cell phones. I have undisputable evidence this company damaged my car. Oh and the Manager still hasn't responded. Terrible way to do business. The driver knows he damaged my car. All I wanted was my car towed!!!!! SMDH Will do another review update soon

They have a free shuttle service for those who need it which was very useful! Everyone was very nice, I feel like the service was fast but Matt apologized to me because apparently there was actually a delay in a parts delivery so I should have gotten it sooner. Either way I was still happy I could get my car back so soon, but it's nice to know that they care a great deal about their customer's time! Appreciate all the hard work!

I had a great experience with Milstead. The staff was very professional. I have not had any trouble my car, since they repaired it. Also, they went over everything with me before any work was done. I am completely satisfied. I will be back for any auto repairs I need done.

Great shop. Highly recommend. If you or your company use Isuzu NPR models, they work on'em here. Got brakes, shocks and new front suspension and steering put in. Drives better than off the lot 'new'. Definitely coming back for more service.

The team was very accommodating. We were leaving on vacation, and had a last-minute repair that needed to be done on the RV. They were able to get the RV in and service finished in a couple of days. Everyone was very pleasant and the work was terrific

I want to thank Maggie at Milstead Automotive for going above and beyond in helping me with my vehicle. From the very beginning, she was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining the situation with my car. She took the time to keep a fuel sample for evidence and provided me with a detailed breakdown of the repair costs so I could clearly understand what was needed. Her support has made a stressful situation much easier to handle, and I truly appreciate the level of care and customer service she provided. Maggie is an excellent advisor, and I highly recommend working with her and the Milstead team!

Great customer service department. Going in I was helped immediately. I needed service issues checked out on my car. They had me approve the quote so they could start. I was told exactly what they would do to my car and let me know when ready. Perfect service before and after!

Milstead Service Center handled the repair of our RV travel trailer that was damaged by a tire blowout. The wires to the slide were ripped out of the RV and wrapped around the axle, along with many other electrical and trailer body issues. The staff here is excellent, Maggie dealt with our insurance company flawlessly right from the start. She kept us up to date on all progress made and when repairs would be completed. Her timeline was just as she stated it would be. Very professional, polite, courteous, and true to her word. Jerry worked on the RV and made it just like new. He listened to our concerns and did excellent work. He was honest, true to his word and we could not be more pleased with the finished repairs. Thanks so much for all the hard work, effort, and follow through. if you need a repair facility, this is definitely the place to go!

I had a really great experience with the towing service. Calobe, the towing professional, was punctual and remarkably polite throughout the process. His positive attitude made a potentially stressful situation much easier. We need more people like him—kind, dependable, and dedicated to excellent service. Such qualities make a significant difference in our daily lives.

Super helpful team! Dealing with car problems especially as a young woman can be so overwhelming. Amber was a huge help, she was very clear on what was needed and what was recommended. Made the entire process easy to navigate. The shop itself is clean with a comfy waiting space. Overall awesome team. Hopefully won’t be back anytime soon but the next time I need anything for my car I’ll be taking it here.

It was my first time going to Milstead to get my emission inspection of my gas motorhome. The place is really nice and clean. Very friendly staff and accomodating. Really nice waiting area and no smoking on any part of the premises. I heard an older gentleman talking to another customer that Milstead was the only shop that fixed his vehicle after he took it to multiple shops. When I heard that, I know this place is legit. I called them in advance to make sure they can do it since other places dont. Customer service was very great over the phone. When I arrived at the place, it was spacious and very easy to park my motorhome. In less than 30mins, they got my motorhome ready which was a surprise considering they were working on a lot of vehicles in their shop. I was really happy with my experience and I usually do the work on my vehicles and motorhome but I will definitely try them if I cant fix the issues on my vehicles. I recommend this shop to all types of vehicles and motorhomes.

Milstead provided a fair and honest assessment of my brake system and worked out a great deal for repair. The tech did a great job replacing parts as needed and flushing the system. After driving three days to test out the work, I am very satisfied they did a quality job. I would definitely recommend them for Service on your vehicle.

My son brought his 2020 Explorer to the mechanic shop, where he reported hearing an unusual engine noise. He had dropped it off in the morning, and by the afternoon, the mechanics had inspected the vehicle to determine the cause of the issue. They conducted diagnostic tests and performed thorough visual inspections, but they found no apparent problems with the vehicle. Despite their efforts, they refrained from attempting to create any issues with the car and were completely transparent about their findings. The mechanics spent several hours examining the vehicle to identify the problem, and their honesty and minimal cost were commendable. This is a measurable aspect of their service, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for their straightforward approach.
