Don't use these people unless u want to pay outrageous prices it cost me 600 to get my truck out of pound I was also pulling a trailer and that was another 600 to take 24 miles and I was there the next day to retrieve my truck and trailer it should be against the law to charge people these outrageous prices .Stay Away at all cost.
I'm running a small transportation company and I had my truck and trailer towed to this company, and this was one of the most difficult experiences I’ve had dealing with towing and storage.
On the first day, I was told it would cost around $30,000 just to release my equipment. Since I didn’t have that kind of cash available, I had no choice but to go through my insurance company. As the process went on, both my insurance provider and I were surprised by how quickly the charges increased.
I was told my cargo (BBQ logs) was being stored in multiple containers at a high daily rate. However, when the insurance appraiser inspected the site on March 3rd, fewer containers were observed, and a portion of the cargo was still inside the trailer. The appraiser was also not allowed to inspect the inside of the trailer at that time.
When I asked for clarification and a review of the charges, I received updated invoices showing higher and higher totals, at one point exceeding $120,000. After raising concerns, I was offered a partial reduction with only a short time to resolve the balance.
This situation took much longer to resolve, partly due to the insurance investigation and the size of the charges. Based on my past experiences, these costs were far higher than anything I’ve previously encountered
Based on my experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re prepared for potentially extremely high costs.
If i could give zero stars I would. My totaled car got towed here. I was told by insurance i needed to get it out because my claim is taking longer than expected. I called before hand and asked to come get it and they said yes. So we loaded up and brought our own truck and trailer and some buddies to help and headed there. After i paid the God awful amount of money, she said you cannot bring your own truck and trailer into the gate. And only one person can go back there. I told her the car does not drive and she basically went “🤷♀️” meanwhile i’m hurt from my accident i cannot push that car. I feel like that should be disclosed before you pay almost a grand. My husband went back instead of me and they watched as he struggled and nearly passed out from pushing it alone and then told him they aren’t actually aloud to let you push it. So please tell me how do you expect us to get it out then? Would never recommend this place ever! The only good part was the tow driver. He was nice.
Helping a friend of mine and need the vin # for her vehicle that got towed. The police nor the tow company gave her any paperwork and she does not know the vin number. Without the vin # she can’t get insurance or prove ownership of the vehicle…called the tow company several times and they would not give me or her the vin # …;. Sounds like a racket to me for them and the crooked Johnson county sheriffs to make side money or auctioned vehicles….. per TDLR website a tow yard must provide someone claiming to be owner access to the vehicle to retrieve any paperwork to help prove ownership ….. they flat out said they will not give us the vin #. Calling Johnson county sheriff next then TDLR. This isn’t right and is a huge scam… they said we could access the vehicle during normal business hours to retrieve paperwork… what’s the flipping difference… I have to go there and locate the vehicle to get the vin when they have it in there system right in front of there face…; PATHETIC. CUSTOMER SERVICE SND TOTAL DISREGQRD OF TDLR RULES
This place is a joke. They want you pay for your car before you can confirm its yours. Next time they can just keep my car. Hope this place goes out of business soon.
Driver stated I could bring another truck and get my tool box out of mine. Went to pick up my tools for work and they said unless I could carry everything from the yard to out the front gate I can’t get it. Very sorry business.
The service was good but the fact that the police had my vehicle towed from an accident and they charge a very large impound fee is a little rediculous....talk about insult to injury
super friendly receptionist and good communication. read multiple reviews that they got a different price on the phone than in person which gave me a pit in my stomach on the way to retrieve the car, however the price was exactly as mentioned on the phone and got my car out immediately upon arrival. nice work.
Very unprofessional and rude staff at the front desk. Based on other reviews, the reply shouldn’t be “who did you speak with,” it should be a conversation with your front desk staff. Getting your car towed after an accident (and Beards automatically get the tow because of their contract with the police department) is already stressful enough. Having to deal with someone being rude and yelling at you on top of that is unacceptable.
Avoid This Towing Company at All Costs!
I had the worst experience ever with this towing company. The most stressful part was dealing with the lady at the front desk—she was incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I asked simple questions, she either responded with an attitude or refused to answer at all, constantly redirecting me to call the general office instead of helping on the spot.
On top of that, the pricing was outrageous. They unloaded our trailer without prior notice and then charged an extra $600 for the load. By the time we were done, we ended up paying a ton of unexpected additional fees that other towing companies don’t charge.
If you want to avoid stress, stay away from this company unless you’re willing to waste your time, lose a lot of money, and deal with the rudest customer service ever!
My car was towed up here after an accident I spent many weeks in the hospital after I had got now. I had a friend take me up here to get some belongings out of my car. And because I have many broken bones. I'm not able to gather them myself. But they refused to let my friend come help me. Said only one person at a time. This is a garbage rule that needs to be removed
I went to pick up my pick-up a couple weeks ago. They told me it was undriveable. They told me it was acharge $728.00 for a week of it being there and since it was not driveable it was $50.00 more. I got it home. Guess what?? It's was able to start and drive out. They just want more money. It had started out at being $548.00 by the next morning it was the $728.00 then $50.00 more.The people there are rude. All I needed was the truck. I gave them all the identification.
Dishonest business. After my accident (without my approval) they towed my motorcycle to their establishment and asked for $600+ after holding it for only 2 days. Then when asked the price for a tow home, was quoted $250 but when I arrived the rate magically jumped up another $100. The lady seemed super inconvenienced that I had follow up questions about the changing of rates. Provided virtually zero help. Charged an extra $50 for a "notification fee" but the notification never came when it was supposed to. Fifty dollars for a certified mail letter...let that sink in. The letter arrived 7 days after the accident. They do this by design to tack on fees.
If you're reading this - stay sharp and do not let these folks squeeze you. Document every information and if possible record your phone call when you contact this dishonest and opportunistic business.

No thank you. I've already cut my losses and moved on. But I will add that the tow truck driver was very friendly and polite. No complaints with his service. The made-up pricing depending on who you talk to is why you have this 1 star review. Get that in order and I'll gladly change my review. Have a great day.

My Kenworth clutch went out on me tonight in South Dallas and Jacob came to my rescue! Truly a stand up guy! Extremely professional, courteous, and was very precise and careful when hooking my truck. He took me to KW in Irving and talked the entire way. He was very sweet and welcoming to my puppy too! By the time we parted ways I felt like I’ve known him for a long time. Can’t say enough to how appreciative I am for him being such a great guy with the best personality even after being called out after hours. Thank you Beards Towing and thank you Jacob! Yall will be highly recommended by me for anyone needing a tow in the future!
