BEWARE!!
My fiance and I called this company and they made us wait almost 2 hours (there was a $89 non refundable cancellation charge) on the side of the highway. When they eventually showed up, they said they were not going to be able to tow us because his tow truck was a 2 seater. We called and told them to cancel our truck and they proceeded to charge us the full service (~$130). We called back and threatened to dispute the charges; they then gave us a full refund. Do not use this company!!!

Very nice and respectful. A bit pricey but great customer service.The only reason I give a four star is because they gave me a time frame of 60-90 minutes however there was a miscommunication on their end and I didn’t get my vehicle for five hours. Despite this I would use them again.
Called to do a 30 min unload job. Tried to charge me $ 530.00 for 30 min of work. Told him driver did not have to strap,chain or winch. I do this about 3 times a week for 3 years. Always between $ 100 and $ 200 for the hour. Call some one else.
I called because my dads truck wouldn’t turned on, on his way to work. I asked for a their services and prices however, the mans voice was faint so I politely asked for the options to be repeated and if he can get closer to the mic. The man responded with “ma’am you didn’t have a problem hearing me earlier so why now”. It was very rude and I uninterested of their service after that remark. 10/10 would not recommend, look for another towing company.
They were quick to answer the phone to get your money and give an eta.
However, they took much longer than the eta provided.
I called back at least 8 times after a 10 minute grace period and calls kept going to voicemail.
I’m sure this is a great company and great people, but the service was not the best or worth what I paid.
Do not use this company the driver was almost 40 minutes late even though I told him my auto shop was closing at a certain time I was quoted one price while I was charge almost double!!! Then it took me 45 minutes to confirm that my car had been towed to the correct place and my keys were handed to someone that worked there! I will never use this company again!
Very friendly over the phone and they always give an estimated time of arrival as well as courtesy calls. There's no waiting around aimlessly with Towing Star Houston. They are The Best!!

I had two flats on a sunday before labor day. My driver informed me that the closest 24 hour shop would be able to break off my locking lugnuts since I did not have a key. I had one a spare so I needed to buy only one tire and he gave me all my options but I took the best one. Thank you towing stars.
DO NOT USE THIS TOWING COMPANY. They are complete liars and will try to charge you hidden costs after they are done towing your car. I was frank and upfront with them about my situation and I requested an estimate prior to agreeing to their services. They quoted me a number and I agreed to having my car towed. However, once they were ready to drop off my car, they handed me an invoice with safety, pickup, road service and "other" charges that were not disclosed to me. I specifically made sure to ask them before hand what the charges were so that I could avoid a situation like this and they failed to mention any of the charges. After going back and forth with them, I listened to the recording of my quoted price and indeed they did not mention any of the charges. I told them I would not pay for the costs that weren't disclosed to me during the agreement and they threatened to have my car impounded several times. Long story short, they will try to rip you off with hidden costs and lie about it. DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR TOWING NEEDS. They are scammers.
On yesterday 11/29 around 4:30pm I called this company to get my car towed less than 8miles away. The dispatcher told me the driver by the name of Gerardo Calderon was coming in 30 min. 1 hour pass by still no wrecker truck. My car was parked at the mechanic shop and they were closing down and would charge me to keep my car there. I called the dispatcher back and he said the driver was suppose to call me in 10 min, 1 hour pass by still no truck; still no call. I called back and demanded the wrecker truck driver call me. He finally called and said he's 20 min away......40 min passed by and still no wrecker truck. I was so frustrated and disappointed at this company. Its almost 6:30pm I've waited 2 hours and when the guy gets here I asked his how much will I have to pay because the dispatcher told me $59 first then $35 later, but the truck driver told me $59 first then $75 later. I was so mad at this point because I was quoted two different prices and he didn't have any sympathy for me. I called the dispatcher back to get a refund or a discount noone answered they didn't want to help me out. I was so desperate and needed my car towed I didn't get home until 8:30 on top of that the truck driver took over an hour to put my car on the flat bed, this is outrageous. I'm still looking to get a refund or a credit back into my account I will NEVER CALL THIS TOW COMPANY AGAIN IN MY LIFE.
This is has to be the most horrible towing company in the whole world. Their website gave a 3 pointer guarantee, please, they are totally false and contrary to their services. They claimed a less than 30 minutes arrival, it took about 2 hours for the towing vehicle to show up without any apology. They also claimed honest pricing policy(fixed price, no hidden cost), if you believe this, it is at your own peril. Their pricing is total ripoff with several hidden costs, you don't have to use them to find out, I am talking from experience. They have all kinds of hidden costs that no one has ever heard before, I wonder how they sleep at night knowing they are taking advantage of people in a fraudulent manner. They are not professionals and contrary to their 3rd guarantee pointer, they are rude and unfriendly. If you have any discrepancy and you give them a call, expect phone to be hung up on you several times. Please, stay away from this frauds and cheats. I will be reporting them to the BBB, the way they treat people is horrendous.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! Horrible experience. Immoral and without integrity. I was ripped off. The driver charged me $160 for a 7 mile journey, when questioned he said it was $60 for jumping the vehicle ???? "I had to chain it down" No *%$# that's what Towing is! When I called the dispatch number they said I had to take it up with the driver. In short they took advantage of our need for a tow and were rude when questioned about it especially as driver said "if you don't like our prices don't use us again," you think?!? Ok for you to say that when you had me at a disadvantage. Sickening!
Late on a Sunday afternoon - my truck shifter disengaged. Called for a tow. Didn't have to wait for an eternity (and it's late Sunday afternoon!) and - he fixed my problem without needing to tow it! Mo was the driver and was just awesome. I told him what the problem was and he knew how to get it fixed well enough to allow me to drive it home & to the dealership tomorrow morning for a permanent fix. Best wrecker experience ever. I will definitely be adding this number to my contacts list. THANK YOU, MO!!!!
READ THIS BEFORE YOU CALL: i called to have my keys taken out of the inside of my car and the first man was the only professional person i spoke too said it will be an extra charge of $10-$20 to take my keys out of my vehicle. Then a kid that shows up and charges me an extra $40. Unprofessional!!!!
I got stuck on the side of 59, I called many companies, they told me 2 hours waiting time , until I called these guys they answered the phone after few seconds, they told the guy is going to be there at about 30 min , after 20 min he was already there loading up my vehicle , the driver was kind and professional, he even gave me a bottle of water, the prices were fair. Great towing experience !
Beware- BAIT and SWITCH experience.
First they gave me a quote after I gave them the pickup/dropoff addresses and said they had to get my credit card information to secure the tow, which I gave to them. They gave me a price range of $180-200 for the tow job depending on complexity and I agreed. Right before she hung up the phone she blurted out "oh, and there is a $55 non refundable fee in that amount even if you cancel the tow". Thanks for bringing that to my attention after I paid you, very fair, I thought.
After a couple of hours of waiting the "specialist" arrived to tow my low car. The genius driver wanted to hook up my car to a non structural part of the car and insisted the engine was in the front, despite being able to see it through the rear glass hatch. The driver seemed to get lost so I agreed to pay the additional mileage charge of $3/mile since I thought it was fair.
Then it was time to settle the bill- but I had already given them my credit card information. The driver was asking me for it anyway which was a red flag and then he added up the total incorrectly (in his favor of course) and it was $100 higher than originally quoted. He tried to tack on the $55 saying it was not included in the quote and additional money because he had to use "specialty equipment" (referring to the 2x4 pieces of lumber which were expected to load any low cars up slopes). I called the company and explained the situation- they told me I had to settle it with the driver. I asked if he was an employee or a contractor, they told me he was an employee which I figured was not true because what legitimate business tells you to take it up with their employee? Plus, they asked me for my credit card earlier so they can process payments but not settle payment disputes?
This is likely just a dispatch yard pretending to be a tow truck company with their own equipment and employees. Going to be watching the credit card bill for fraud on this one. I ended up almost having to call the police to settle the matter but after some time I reached a settlement with the driver after he called me petty for arguing about being overcharged and being put on hold by the "company" forever. Good times.
ok so these guys are just awesome!!! Top of the line service, less them 40 minutes after my truck broke down on the side of I-610 Iand I already had Daniel the truck driver working on loading my truck onto the wrecker.. Fast reasonable prices and very professional!

Was in Houston visiting friends, we were out on a Saturday night, get back to my car who wouldn't turn over. Called several companies who were closed, found this guys. Person on the phone was cool, got to us pretty quick, driver took the car to the dealership and was nice enough to drop us back at the hotel.Great Service!!!
