What clients say about Antique Mall of Lumberton in Lumberton (TX)
We've been shopping at this antique mall for the past 12 years, spent probably thousands of dollars here, but after today, we won't return here. We entered there today, 01/07/2026, and upon entry, the clerk demanded my wife lock her small, 8" x 6" purse in a locker before we barely entered the door. We aren't criminals, I'm a retired LEO, and we refuse to be treated like we're criminals, guilty until proven innocent. Guess they don't want honest customers here.
I visited this antique store in Lumberton, TX around 4:30 PM today with my daughter. As soon as we walked in, we politely said hello. Within moments, a woman approached me and asked if I would “please put my purse in one of the lockers while I shop.”
What made this especially upsetting is that other customers in the store—who were white—were freely carrying their purses. I was the only one singled out the moment I walked through the door. That felt like profiling, and it was humiliating.
I told her that yes, I did mind. I am not a thief, and no one deserves to be treated as suspicious simply for walking into a store. Experiences like this are sad and disappointing, especially in a place that should be welcoming to everyone.
Because of how I was treated, I will not be returning. Businesses should reflect on how their actions impact customers, particularly minorities, and do better.
The vendors have good prices but the staff made my friend and I uncomfortable the entire time. I didnt appreciate feeling stalked, they have lockers for ur bag so just be aware
We visited the Antique Mall of Lumberton a few months ago and since we didn't finish browsing on our first visit, we decided to revisit since we were in the area. They have many vendors there with a variety of antiques for sale. The wifey found a nice trinket so I purchased this for her. I highly recommend visiting the Antique Mall of Lumberton if you're in the area!

First off, the staff was great—no complaints there.
The layout of the place is a bit wonky, but we managed to see everything within an hour.
Saw a fair amount of overpriced uranium glass. I gave up collecting it two years ago when the prices became outrageous.
Deducting -1 star for the blatant money grab on the newer series $2 bills, priced at $5.50 each—a 175% premium. ( folks ask for 2 dollars at your bank/credit union)
Like any antique store or mall, item pricing ranged from low to just right, to high and very high. It is what it is.

The bestie and I discovered this gem of a place when it popped up on Facebook! Decided to take a trip and discovered a thrifting paradise! Go check out all the treasures they have to offer! Maybe me and bestie will see you there!
Love love love it. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I've purchased many unique antiques and vintage items from them. Will continue to shop here. I wonder if I could work here lol
I LOVE coming to check out what antiques they have occasionally! I have spent hundreds of dollars here finding relics of the past. The ladies that work there are super nice and helpful. They package up any fragile items I have to keep them safe. Everything I have purchased has been great quality. I’m not even sure I’ve been to all the sections yet, there’s a huge variety.
Friendly people, nice set up. But I did not buy anything, felt uncomfortable in the place, ( cause they follow you around like you're a criminal and like your trying to steal) . Prices are decent.
Absolutely a wonderful place to shop for a variety of stunning vintage finds! The two Lovely Ladies that helped us were amazing. They have such a great selection of rare finds. Everything has great prices for what you are purchasing. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely make this a regular visiting spot for our vintage buying. We were super happy with the items we purchased. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for unique rare finds, great prices, good music, and Sweet welcoming Ladies to assist you.
There were so many wonderful things to see, that were actual vintage and antiques. Not recreations, or shabby-chic design. There was an absolute, tiny bit of that, but it is no danger of taking over... And the employees were so welcoming and friendly!!! Hubby and I made a few purchases and found the prices very reasonable. It was far from where we live, about 3 hours, but we made it into a adventure, visiting other places, on the way home. I'll be going back on my own, to shop solo, for the items that he admired, but didn't get... A gamble, whether or not it's still there, but likely, I won't come home empty-handed, in any case! Turn over is great here!!! ?
My favorite place to go look for antique stuff at great prices. Everyone here is super friendly and ready to help when you need it.
If you are looking to thrift shop or look for old items or even collectibles i recommend this place every time!
Great prices and friendly staff. We found a lot of things that would go wonderfully in our home and we hope they will still be there when we go back but if not we don't mind looking at anything "new" they bring in.
This is one of those places that are perfect for some Window shopping and just enjoying the day casually strolling about. The area is huge and you can easily spend a few hours here just checking out all they have to offer.
This was a great, decent sized antique mall! Really enjoyed browsing all the items they offered. Bought a few things too. The staff was very friendly! Definitely one of the most pleasant stops I've made in Lumberton.

Love love love this little place!!! The ladies are so friendly and always willing to help. The atmosphere is welcoming and each vendor always has a great selections. Lots of rare and vintage finds.
This is such a neat place to browse. There is always something new to look at, and the staff is always very friendly. Definitely worth both a stop if you're passing by or a special trip. Love this place! Highly recommend a visit.

This is my absolute favorite place to search for little treasures. They have an assortment of furniture, home decor, flatware, dishes, crocks, iron pans, linens, quilts, milk glass, trinkets and doodads. I love the staff working the front counter. They're very friendly and always have fresh coffee and snacks at the front bar for patrons to enjoy while you shop. *I've included pictures of things we've bought from the shop and either turned into more or used and loved as is.
