I took a battery to get charged at this place after calling to confirm that they charge batteries there. The guy at the counter told me ( I’ll tell you right now that battery is no good) He proceeded to get his tool to show me the battery was bad. I asked him if they charge batteries and that I called earlier and am bringing it by to get it charged. He said we can put it on the charger but it’s a waist of time. I said I just need it charged so he grabbed the battery and took it in the back. Another gentleman told me it will take an hour. I left and came back an hour later and the gentleman at the counter said that the machine was beeping and that it usually means the battery is bad. The voltage didn’t change. I went home connected the battery with some jumper cables to my truck let it run for 20 min and that battery was just fine. Put it back in the car that I was repairing and everything was great. I was pretty bummed that the guys at this location don’t have any integrity. So that being said I don’t recommend this Ronoke autozone at all. All it needed was a charge and they were willing to lie over that. Crazyness save yourself the waste of time.

Wyatt is the man, helped me with replacing a battery today. Knew exactly what I needed in and out in 30 minutes. It’s a 30 min drive from my house and I’ll pass a lot of autozones on the way, but I’ll come back just because of the fantastic service here.

INDIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE: Gave my car key for battery replacement. The technician replaced the battery and handed over the key but the panic button was missing.. We asked him about it and he gave a careless reply "i don't have it. Look for yourself". We just let it go. But the key was not working as well. Went back saying him that the battery is not working.. He coldly replied "i changed the battery.. i cant do anything . probably you should change the keys" and just went.. ------ Later today i found out that the technician has inserted the battery upside down and the panic button had slipped inside the key itself.. i fixed it and the key is working as good as new. Lucky I dint listen to his advice and went hunting for new keys

Bought a Duracell battery here two years ago. The battery slowly got worse then stopped holding a charge. Took it in, battery was under warranty and replaced for free. Super easy process, helpful employees!

I had an issue with my battery; it unfortunately was dead. I was able to get it going and drive to AutoZone Roanoke. Prior to arriving I had called and set up a battery with Victor. When I arrived, he was courteous and professional! He replaced my battery super quickly. He was polite and had a smile fixing my issue! I don't go to auto part stores very often. If I need to, I will absolutely go to AutoZone because of this awesome employee. So should you. Great customer service is rare these days. Great Job Victor!

Just left Autozone in Roanoke. I came in with a bad battery in my wife’s car. I was dreading replacing the battery because she has a 2018 ford escape where you have to remove the air filter to get to the battery and I don’t have the tools to do the job. Victor who greeted me with a smile tested the batter and even installed a new one for me and did it without even a side eye or complaint. I am a manager for 15 people and I know true leadership. If I was owned a company that requires customer service skills I would hire Victor to lead it. The world we live in needs more Victors.

Mr Hayden was my sales rep. Let me tell you, he went above and beyond! He spent an hour trying to get my wheel caps right on my car. I seriously have never seen someone with such sincere dedication and good manners as Mr. Hayden. He was such a sweetheart! 💕

I had a great experience at this AutoZone! I came in to get new license plate holder bulbs and the employee with the bat tattoo and long hair was very helpful. He let me know that even tho he isn't allowed to fix anything for me he would be happy to walk me through the steps of changing them and he provided great moral support when I was struggling. Wonderful customer service and very personable dude (:

I was in dire need of a battery. Thank goodness my partner reminded me that AutoZone also replaces the battery for you. Wyatt was professional and charming. He laid out all my options and I chose what was best and within my budget. The location is a bit tricky to get to. So if you are using Google Maps for example, follow it to the letter or there will some U-turn maneuvers.

In the past, I’ve had painful experiences marked by cold service, unkind stares, or outright discrimination. This has been especially true in smaller towns throughout Texas. So, when two engine lights lit up on my dashboard and a headlight went out, I braced myself for another uncomfortable visit to an auto shop. Instead, I found something truly remarkable at the AutoZone in Roanoke, TX. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted warmly with a smile and a genuine “hello.” Kyle, the general manager, didn’t hesitate—he immediately offered assistance and treated me with the kind of kindness, respect, and attentiveness you’d hope for in any customer service experience, but sadly don’t always receive. He ran a complimentary diagnostic on my car, explained everything clearly, and assured me the issues were minor—mainly a low tire pressure warning. He even pointed me to nearby places where I could inflate my tires for free, saving me time and money. As for the headlight, Kyle noticed they had the right bulb in stock and offered to help me replace it on the spot. When he inspected it, he discovered it was just loose, tightened it for me, and—once again—I didn’t have to spend a dime. What could have been a stressful, uncomfortable experience turned into something surprisingly uplifting. Kyle and his team have fostered a welcoming, helpful environment that embraces all customers, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance. Because of this, I won’t just be choosing AutoZone for all of my vehicle needs moving forward—I’ll gladly drive 30+ minutes just to visit this specific location. They don’t even have switches. It’s just a retail store now. Electrical connectors are insanely priced. Guy at the counter doesn’t even know what a switch is, doesn’t engage to find out what you’re doing. Just simply types in whatever word you say and then says they have it or don’t. Clueless.

I just bought 2 headlight bulbs for my car since 1 was out completely and Danny was so helpful in helping me find the right ones. He also came out and changed them for me as well and made sure they worked before I drove away. What a great experience, thank you!

I went to AutoZone with my gas flap not opening. Not only was Selvin able to get it open, he also tried to glue back together the part I had broken. He was very nice and saved me from running out of gas.

5 stars for the associate Selivn ONLY. Selivn was the only employee who took a moment to help me solve my issue. I have been sold the wrong part 3 times, ordered online because picture was correct, but i was sent wrong part, when i went to return today, a middle age balding man ( he didn't offer name) was the first to offer "assistance " but was very rude and unhelpful. His only response to me mentioning the listing picture was wrong was "all I can do is sell you the part that is listed to match your vehicle " and " so you want to return it?" which I understand there is only so much an employee can control but I am showing him correct part, and he offers no assistance to help find it. Selivn on the other hand took over my return, listened to my concerns AND FOUND THE CORRECT PART SAME DAY. Not sure what the other guys problem was, seemed his cellphone conversation was more important to him then his job. Thank God for selivn, helped me with this stressful situation and kept my business at auto zone vs going with another company

I encountered an issue with my remote start not working. Suspecting a bad battery on my key fob, I promptly visited my local AutoZone. There, I connected with Daniel, who confidently diagnosed the problem. It turned out that the check engine light was on due to a faulty fuel cap, preventing the vehicle from starting remotely with the key fob. I requested a key fob battery replacement for peace of mind, and Daniel promptly and enthusiastically obliged. He also took care of replacing the fuel cap. He assured me that the check engine light would clear itself with some driving, and indeed it did. As a result, I can now remotely start my vehicle again. The service was exceptional, the staff was top-notch, and their expertise was evident.

2 stars because they had the bulb, but the associate ignored me until I approached him, then told me he didn't know if he could put it in. After looking under the hood, he told me he didn't want to put his hand under the hood. I would have waited for it to cool down, but he made it clear he just didn't want to. I know it was only a $25 sale so I guess it just wasn't worth it to him.

Went to replace a battery under the 2 year warranty for Duralast. Store tested the battery and verified its a bad battery. This store just kept giving the runaround. Will say first day information couldn’t be pulled up because the # used to purchase battery was entered by the other store incorrectly not this AZ fault. After that tho we provided the receipt, had the bank statement, and had the AZ where the battery was purchased call this store and speak to Selvin the commercial Manager to provide any information they needed from them to proceed with the warranty. Was told to speak with him when we went up there would be there until 5PM.Today was the 3rd time going up there and now suddenly they say the warranty was already used. False! Second even if that was the case why when they were speaking to the original AutoZone, did they not pull up the information and verify/confirm then and there on that call if there was any issues or concerns!? Why wait until the customer heads up there to say something!? Now going back and forth between both store on the phone they said is a system issue and they just can’t pull it up retracting the warranty has been used statement . If it’s a company system issue of not being able to pull up the information thats a store problem and not a customer problem. Again I have the receipt and bank statement for the battery it simply needs to be exchanged. This store refuses to do that. The way it’s coming off the store doesn’t want to take the hit for the replacement since they were not the ones to sell to us and wants to push off till 7/16 ( exp of warranty ) so then we are forced to purchase a battery so they receive that sale. While both AZ stores play a fault here. This is the AZ that is dealing with the customer directly and not well. Also this is the AZ located near me and where I go to purchase items for my vehicle. That will no longer be the case and I will find else where even if it’s out of the way. No solution has been met. Terrible service. Would highly advice to avoid this location if not the company as a whole. Based off other reviews recently we’re not the only ones either who have had difficulty.

This was the WORST experience of my life! I’m a young 22 yr old woman from out of town and needed to get my key fob battery changed. I went in & they changed it but put the battery in wrong. I went back later that night needing it to be fixed and Daniel the parts sales manager was so rude and refused to help me, telling me to come back Monday and figure it out with the manger. Thank the lord for Braden White the sales associate. He kindly stepped in explained that the battery was put in wrong and helped me out while Daniel sat on his phone. I will NEVER return to this location. Braden White deserved to be the parts sales manger & needs a raise. When I walked out other customers were also complaining about how disrespectful & unhelpful Daniel was.

Horrid service and customer experience tonight, 5/22/24. Placed an online pickup order before noon. Did it to make absolutely certain my parts and tools would be there for the job I had to do first thing next morning. Received confirmation that my order was ready within an hour. I showed up about 9:15pm to pick it up. There was an employee, hanging out talking and looking bored and a manager counting down drawers. The employee looked up my order and said it hasn't been picked yet. He then goes around the store attempting to pickup my order, which I really didn't have time for, but whatever. He then says that the tools I ordered are out of stock because there are none on the shelf. While he's looking for my parts in the back, I asked the manager if perhaps they had the order already picked somewhere. He says they don't. I explain to the manager the time that I placed my order and that it should have been picked already so that they didn't already sell what I ordered to someone else. Instead of an apology, he argued that they just got the order. I explained again when it was placed. He said they would issue a refund, which doesn't help me. He didnt apologize. He didn't offer to see if he can get me what I need at another store or have it for me first thing in the morning or anything. At this point I'm fed up and beginning to raise my voice because I absolutely need what I ordered and it's absurd that I'm being treated like I'm inconveniencing them. The manager blamed the computer system while the employee joined the conversation with equal attitude. The manager and him are clearly buddies. As I continued complaining to the manager, the employee finally looks in a cabinet and discovers the tools I needed. He presents them to me with attitude, like here, leave now, all while failing to realize he finally looked where I wanted them to look in the first place. If at any point they apologized or admitted that they messed up, I would have understood. Instead, they acted like it was absurd for me to expect my confirmed order to actually be there. I will be giving my business to O'Reilly's from now on.

Both employees seemed bothered by me when I came in to warranty a battery and made it feel like I was making a huge hassle for them. One employee literally rolled his eyes at me when I asked him a follow up question about the battery warranty. 2 stars because they did warranty the battery. I will not come back to this location again.

The people who work here are super helpful. They cleaned my battery cables/posts at no charge and without me buying anything. On a different visit and car, I bought a new battery, and they installed it at no charge. I try to give them all my related business and bought jumper cables as well.

Very grateful for this store, their level of customer service, and can do attitude! Clean & well stocked. But the best was when a knowledgable worker helped me find the right windshield wipers for my car and didn't hesitate to go out into the cold (15 degrees!) to install them for me. Much appreciated!

I stopped in this store today I was headed out of town and a man by the name chad helped me purchase a few things I was needing for my car. I must say it’s rare these day to find someone so knowledgeable and respectable. He was a pleasure to work with, had such a wonderful attitude. Great customer service I will be returning to this store for any future purchases. Thanks to chad I feel safe and road ready !!
