I've been coming here for years and today was my first bad experience. I actually told talked to the guy next to me unloading tin and said that if this had been my first experience selling metal I would never have come back.
It was absolute chaos. I guess it was clean up day or something. They had two 18 wheelers that were loading so those block up the scale for a long time. There was a guy in a little skid steer I think they are called pushing the big pile of metal yelling at me to move forward, while the parking lot manager is telling at me to back up to get out the way of one or the 18 wheelers that needed to move. Both yelling from a distance, and then later yelling at each other. I have no idea how the loading/unloading process is supposed to work but I've been there and watched them load a truck without it breaking down the process for everyone else so it is possible. Maybe just unfortunate timing of two vehicles showing to at the same time?
I usually go to Phoenix down the street but they were closed. I felt rushed. They didn't split up my wire by size like Phoenix does. Seems I got less than what I normally get. I've been scraping wire for along time. I will say the staff was awesome at all levels. I'd go back. Maybe I should've been more assertive on the wire separation. Loved the scripture in the office! God bless!
Awesome people at the front desk love that they have a prayer board and bible quotes in the lobby. Appreciate the free coffee and the Spanish speaking folks helping unload the scraps. 10/10 experience.
This was my first time here and I have to say this was one of the best places .. clean , answered all my questions with out making feel like it was a bother . Very organized . But the best part

I’ve been scrapping for close to 20 years in the dfw metroplex, this by far is the best bang for your buck and they move more people quicker than any other scrapyard in Dallas Fort Worth area. You will not be disappointed if you’re a scrapper looking for a good spot to recycle your metals.
I was running short on time for a project that needed to get done. Fred just so happed to be in my yard to pick up some copper and wire. We got into conversation and I told him about my issue and how I needed someone to pick up 15 years worth of scrap over the course of 3 days. He said “Oh, that’s no problem, I’ll be back out here TODAY, if you’d like!”. Fred is the reason why I was able to accomplish the impossible!!! He was communicative and stuck to his word! Even though he was obviously suffering with terrible allergies, he stuck to his word and helped me out! I will forever be grateful for Fred!
Absolutely no direction what so ever.Employess give very vague directions specially since it was first time ..ended up just selling my steel and copper wire and keep my brass and billet aluminum they had us circling around property No signs NOTHING except some information that did nothing other than cause confusion and taking business else where.. very unfortunate hear some helpful tips to improve your customer service and usability of coming to your company put some signs up because clearly your employees are incapable of answering simple questions and giving simple directions and answers
Outstanding customer service inside—-great team outside guiding trucks onto scale—-fast loaders—-a little tight for an extended hood truck but it’s all good—-100% recommended—don’t know the metal prices but lots of people come in must be good —Thank you

Visited here for many years. They maintain a high standard on the way they operate. Someone directed the in and out traffic dealing with different kinds of customers. The interior and exterior of the facilities was organized and this a never ending yet dangerous process. The whole experience was efficient and effective.
Great job for keeping “trash” valuable and the “mess” in order.
