Karen the owners wife is condescending and rude. These people totaled one of my motorcycles and wont hand over their insurance. BEWARE

I would hate for my car to be on this truck because a driver is running red lights and driving in the inappropriate lane to do so! Jim Miller and Military area

Friendly,Honest, Extremely honest, helpful!! This by far is the best Towing service I've ever encountered!? In 40 plus years of driving and many many tows. I've never come across a more professional company in 48 States I've been in driven in broke down in it had a current service with. THANKS to the owner because the employees of a company are a direct reflection of them so this owner must be an excellent polite honest friendly and blessed people, I've ever dealt with!!

Super fast and responsive! Great technology to see where and who the driver was, a heads up when he was close, and super easy billing on the back end! Hope I never need a another tow but would call them right up!

Share review Embed review Write an update Edit review 9/18/2020 Absolutely terrible company from start to finish. I was provided the service through USAA. The company didn't show up on time. When they attempted to coordinate pick up, the dispatcher belittled me and was incredibly condescending. On arrival, the driver was rude, refused to listen, was condescending and blamed me for issues. On top of that, he threatened to withhold service despite having received payment already. The driver also threatened to leave my car in a vacant lot instead of my intended destination. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I found that it had been ransacked (the 2 other cars in the same lot were scott free). My car manual was stolen, other miscellaneous items, personal effects, my car title and registration as well as my iPhone charter. When i attempted to find resolution with the company directly, they were incredibly defensive and accusatory, they didn't believe the story and acted like I was the bad guy. Do NOT every use this company

I had a flat, my insurance called them and they had a 90 minute ETA. The closest tire shop closed in 30 minutes. They came out of order to come get me and tow me to the tire shop so I wouldn’t be stranded in my car late at night. Driver was super friendly and made me feel comfortable. Thank you Abbeys!

Customer service and the tow person is so patient and understanding!!! I don't remember their names. Must have been the heat lol while I was waiting for the tow to come. Not my 1st time using them through my insurance roadside assistance!! Good people don't come often! I would most certainly recommend them

Going to a wrecker service to release my car to the insurance company is not something I relish. On top of that, my huge insurance company had some people on staff that were not well informed so I ended up doing just about all of the work. TO MY RESCUE came Karen who was very pleasant and totally competent. She took charge of my situation and promptly solved the problem that the insurance company couldn't. Abbey's Wrecker Service was excellent from start to finish. Karen's work ethic and her caring seems to be the standard at Abbey's. Hopefully I won't have a need for their service again, but if I do, Abbey's will get the business. Karen deserves a raise. Thanks Abbey's

They were phenomenal! My car wasn't starting and I had another tow company come out to help. They brought the wrong towing car, barely tried to jump me and asked for a tip...my insurance company then paired me with Abbey's Wrecker Service and the whole experience changed for the better! Not only were they timely, but my towing guy was polite and knowledgeable. He got my car cranked and followed me to the Jeep Service station. Before I could even get out of the car he told the Service Team what was wrong with my car and made sure they were there to help me. Before he left he made sure I had a way back and that everything was okay. 10/10 would recommend.

Had my transmission gear linkage go out while backing out of a parking spot in a parking garage, blocking all traffic during rush hour. Needless to say, this was a super stressful situation. After 4 hours trying to get someone out to help me, Anthony from Abbey’s Wrecker Service came to the rescue. Without even seeing my car he knew exactly what was wrong with it and gave me hope that it will be a simple fix to get it down from the 4th floor of a low-ceilinged parking garage, safely onto the tow truck, and over to the mechanic. Anthony was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to call again if I’m ever stuck in a similar situation, but I’m definitely requesting Anthony!

After getting a flat, my insurance contacted Abbey's to tow me to a nearby garage. They called me and kept me informed about how long/far away they were and I was towed within roughly 45min. Driver was personable, quick, and even allowed me to request drop-off at a different garage than originally requested (less of a wait time). Really happy with how I both my car and I were treated.

Called Abbeys and spoke to Shana it was late I was tired and frustrated but this lady was so patient she had Brian out to me within 30 minutes. I called 4 places they said minimum 4 hours. Brian came took us and our car to the shop and waited patiently for us to get settled. These two are wonderful and I really appreciate you two. Thank you Shana and Brian!!

My insurance company contacted Abbey Wrecker Service and they arrived within 90 minutes as promised. Lupe, the driver was Awesome. He was very careful and loaded up my Jeep SRT with ease. I was taken directly to the dealership and was good to go. Thanks for doing a great job!

My insurance company called these guys to tow my car per Roadside Assistance. They accepted the tow but NEVER came. I called several times and the dispatch said each time “The driver wil call you in a sec” Needless to say they never called. I’m a single woman and was left out t in the cold. I don’t recommend them to anyone.

I had to come in to get paperwork completed and notarized to get my car out of impound. She was super nice and helpful over the phone and equally so in the office. We were in and out in just a few minutes. Great experience!

The post deserves 0 stars! Shana was the rudest, worst dispatcher! My husband spoke to her this is who our insurance referred us to tow our car. She was talking very disrespectful, being very aggressive just because we told her that there was a shortest route to get to our mechanic shop so we wouldn't have to pay more. Never have we been so humiliated before! That was one stupid lady! She even brought racism in this when we are born here in the US wow need I say more! We will definitely be calling our insurance to make sure they never use them agian!

Me and my boyfriend were stranded for over an hour and Shana, the dispatcher, helped us out big time! She sent a truck to pick us up and take us to discount tire and we got it taken care of! Thank you so much Shana!!

I can not remember the womans name who helped me, but she handles pretty much all the notary and paper work. My car was stolen and found and she was very nice and understanding trying to get my car back asap. My insurance company was not and took their sweet time, but they actually kept me informed.

I was set up with Abbey Wrecker through Nissan dealership. Driver G.Garza was amazing. Very professional, courteous, and definitely knows what he is doing. I recommend this service when you need a tow!

I would definitely recommend Abbeys to anyone who ever needs a tow. It was the middle of the night and most people would be irritated to even have to answer the phone this was the most pleasant experience i could have ever imagined. I started out very stressed but the dispatcher Brandie was very helpful and answered all of my questions from start to finish. once the driver Mike arrived due to where I was parked he had to call another driver Brandon to come out and help him block traffic . He showed up very quickly and they were able to safely get my car loaded and back to my house without fail. All 3 of these people were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend them to anyone and use them again without hesitation if ever need be.

Brandon Roe was the most kind and considerate person I could ever have hoped for. When your car is not driveable, and you have to have it towed, it's great to have someone who cares about you!! I hope I don't need your services again, but if I do, I hope he is the one you send. Thanks.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me explain. The tow driver was friendly and fast, maybe needed a bit more experience but that is not where this problem lies. With this company I was told to call and give them my card number for the charge of the tow. They then used my card and charged the tow to it and then used it to purchase $53 worth of food from a local take out. So if you do use this company, pay them in cash, don't give them your card info.

I called my insurance roadside at 11:50, Abbey's confirmed They were soupposed to pick up my vehicle at 1:20 pm.. 2:00 and I called to see what happened, the lady stated it would be another 20 minutes because they had other emergencies and had to reroute their drivers. So my car did not make it to my mechanic for repairs so I lost my spot. They did not consider my time that I wasted waiting for them. To me my time is very valuable and my emergency and my bussiness was not their priority. PLEASE Spare your self some frustration and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DO NOT LET THEM WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. READ ALL REVIEWS.

I was stuck from 1140pm on Saturday til sunday around 4am, in the middle of nowhere, on a dark street, with cars flying by us.. 3 tow trucks came out stating that they could not tow it because of the way it was leaning and they didnt want to be liable for the bumper getting pulled of during the tow. But Chad came along and rescued us. His main concern was making sure we got home safe and we did!! Thank you he was our life saver last night..

I was turning into MY neighborhood this morning, when the driver of your black tow truck honked behind me. I guess I wasn't turning fast enough, seeing as he was speeding. Although he didn't need to be going so fast, seeing as he turned in just a block down. You need to discipline your driver. I hear termination works. This time it's a google review. Next time I'll find a way to cost you money. I have you at a complete disadvantage here. Don't harass me in my own neighborhood.

Customer service is much to be desired from the woman that answered the phone. When trying to get a status of my driver, she answered the phone laughing and after 10 seconds of doing so, she finally acknowledged that I was on the phone. She's very rude as well as unprofessional. She didn't answer the phone as if she was at a place of business and it was as if she was doing this as a favot and not receiving payment. If I had to choose, I would have hung up and called someone else. It's unfortunate that Statefarm has a contact with them. The driver was okay and got the job done and I appreciate him.

Service, that's a laugh. I was connected with Abbey Wrecker Service when I called USAA roadside assist after my car broke down. Five minutes after the ETA I had been sent of 10:56pm, I called to ask for a status report. The woman on the other end said: "oh, there was a concert downtown, and he got caught in some traffic. Don't worry, he'll be pulling up soon." Another 15 minutes go by, and so I decided to give them another call to see if we could find out another ETA from the driver, see what the status is, all that good stuff. She then asked my name, and who I'd been referred by, and asks me to hold a minute. When she comes back, I'm told that a truck was never actually dispatched to me, that "we get a lot of calls, and this one may have just slipped to the bottom. We'll get someone out to you in 10 minutes." My brother and I waited for an hour when there wasn't even a truck on the way, great. And then it dawns on me that the first time I called, I got some lie that the company has ready to explain delays on weekend nights, and that it was just that, a lie. She never asked my name, or tried to find my case number until I called the second time. Cue my phone to ring not three minutes after I was told they never dispatched. This time, the woman over the phone very irately told me that my drop-off point didn't have a night drop. Yes, it does. What address do you have. Wrong address entirely. Sigh, these things happen, let's get the right drop-off point on there. Though I only verified it with my USAA guy twelve times. Now I'm a firm believer in the idea that if your customer is getting a little frustrated, an entity hired to provide a service to people in need should do what they can to ease the client. They are, after all, getting clients, and therefore money, dropped into their laps. This is not a belief that Abbey Wrecker Service shares. I asked why the information was wrong, why my request had been forgotten about, and most importantly, why she lied to me the first time I called just to get me off the phone, and with no real idea if I even HAD a request pending. She did not like that. Some people can't be held accountable, and she is one of them. She proceeded to tell me that she didn't lie, that she did know that I had a request (no possible way) and then asked if I wanted them to come at all now. Was she threatening to not send a truck? She kept asking me this, as though I'd say no, as though I'd just cancel the request. I asked her if she was threatening to not come, and she said: "No, but you're getting smart at the mouth, and so..." Whoa. I didn't know my mother moonlit at a wrecker service. It was at this point that I asked to speak with her supervisor. "I'm it." Okay, may I speak to your supervisor please? "I'm it." So, you're the owner of the establishment. "I'm it." Ok then, what is your name? Wendy Wendy Wendy WENDY. She made sure I knew her name. In fact, I think a person standing 10 feet away from me heard it. After going back and forth with her about wanting her to admit she lied, and her asking if I wanted them to come or not, she finally made a decision, and told me that she would call USAA to cancel the request, and I should find another service provider. And then hung up on me. Great! Thanks, Wendy, if that's even your name. Thank you so much for giving my dad (who is able to use this great insurance company because he WENT TO WAR) a reason to have USAA re-evaluate their contract with you. Can't do your job, Wendy? Here are some tips from someone that works in real customer service. Maybe you shouldn't fabricate things under the guise of service until you're aware of folks' situations. And if you do want to run your business with assumptions, be able to be caught and held accountable. With power comes responsibility? If you wanna have fun, if you wanna blow people off because your business is so successful, be ready for the backlash when it turns out that maybe these people you blow off are THE REASON YOU HAVE A BUSINESS AT ALL.

I had several hundred dollars worth of gift cards taken from my car after using Abbey Wrecker. I called to report the claim to the manager, Karen - she told me basically to file a police report and there was nothing she could do. To try to make amends she said she would check with the driver and follow-up with me upon doing so - I never got a call back. Not helpful. Bad taste left in my mouth.
