Very poor customer service here especially from this one particular employee in the picture I've had several instances where he won't help a customer,or is very rude. Tonight I called and asked for a part he kept asking for my phone number instead of looking up the part o explained hey im trying to see if you have it before I drive up there. He refused to look it up unless I gave my number. I've never heard of that. So I drove up there the guy is sitting down watching TV. Then another associate looked it up and said they had the part but he couldn't find it. Im guessing he was new. The associate sitting down would not help the guy just told me to go somewhere else. Smh

Training, Training, Training. I had to purchase an Alternator that I had a warranty on because Brian didn't understand the process. I then had to Drive to Desoto to get this situation corrected. I will only shop from Desoto location from now on.

Cashier was clueless. Took almost 10 minutes to get the register to work and check me out. Other clerk just sat there watching and laughing. No help.

On June 15, 2025 I called the store a few times looking for an item. The phone line constantly ringed and no one answered. The same day I drove to the store I saw a few cars parked in the parking lot. One person was waiting in their showing facial frustration. I walked towards the door to find it was locked during normal business hours. I noticed two employees inside hiding themselves once they saw me looking inside the store. I hope someone from corporate will see my review and investigate their employees at this location.

Good place to get parts and information for your automotive needs. The staff is friendly and professional. The pics is a staff members whip. Wow the senior leadership needs help. Their employees is a representation of them. Poor training and lack of car knowledge for simple parts that should be in stock such as universal parts. I think the team needs to look into doing something else.. The part business is not your market.

They had what I needed, but I had just about decided they didn't want to take my money and was at the counter taking pictures of the items that I planned to purchase so I could go someplace else when the guy came around the corner and finally helped me.

Whoever that Hispanic man is that worked the day before thanksgiving is EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Idk if he’s mad that he has to work the day before thanksgiving or what but I’ll NEVER return here. I’ll gladly go to auto zone instead. DO BETTER. After reading the other reviews it’s clear that same worker is the common denominator. He either needs to be retrained or put in receiving or something away from customers. That attitude he has is nothing but how he feels about himself on the inside and being rude to others because he feels like a failure will not fix it.

Total waste of time and gas money to get there ! The kid at the register was totally lost. I ordered ahead online and received a text that my order was pulled and ready for pickup. I drove 25 miles to the store and was first greeted by the manager who said " I cant help you , I am closing out"... after 3 or 4 minutes a kid that was just sitting at a register looked at me and said "what". I told him I was there to pick up my online order. He finally found the paperwork and the order had not been pulled so 10 min later he came back with a 7 mo old looked to be used battery. I asked that it be checked and he was totally lost. The manager finally checked the battery and found it to be bad... Had to cancel the order. Don't waste your time going to the Cedar Hill,TX store.

the absolute worst experience ever . Came in on a Friday maybe Saturday … told them I had a 2021 Chevy Malibu LT .. purchased it for $370 leave the store go home it’s the wrong alternator :) …. The employee corrects his mistake says I can have the right one sent in from our store on Illinois give me til the end of the day I will have it … end of the day comes he says oh man they sent in the wrong alternator I’m going to order from Houston we will have to wait until Tuesday :) . Tuesday comes speak to the manager no one has no clue what I’m talking about the alternator was never order the manager was so unprofessional I’m still in shock and disbelief, he tells me if you told him the wrong car then that’s your fault not mines I say can I have someone above you number he says why they can’t help you either . I’m so disappointed so emotional I’m a mother of 3 no car been getting the run around all week to be out of $400 & no alternator… top tier best quality in service if you ask me :)

Etan at the cedar hill store was the most helpful person I have ever encountered in any auto store in my life. Super knowledgeable about marine and auto even stayed not rushing out after hours. Best overall retail experience in a lifetime. He deserves a raise and then some.

This location is the best! I've receive excellent customer service every time I visit this store. The staff is amazing and very caring. Customers are always greeted with a "hello, can I help you". They play great music : ) Thank you to everyone at the Cedar Hill Location.
