We’ve been dropping off recycled items and getting mulch from here for several years. Today after driving 40 miles one way to pick up mulch they asked us at the gate if we lived in the county. The woman said it was a new policy that started this year, but evidently no one mentioned it when we picked up mulch two weeks ago or when we called earlier or on their site! We won’t waste our time there anymore.
I called them up beforehand to check they were open and what time they closed. When we got there a kind man helped empty our car for our glass recycling. Quick and easy - we’ll be coming back
Now that they shut down all the remote recycling stations, not going to drive 55 miles round trip to take it to the one on 46. Land fills are going to have more trash. We only have 1 kitchen trash bag a week to go in trash cans. We buy gallon bottles of water so there are a lot to recycle.
I checked the website before driving 20 minutes to be sure they were accepting brush. Of course, when I arrived they were not. Call first (assuming their ability to answer the phone is better than their ability to make a small update to the website).
Don’t business with them Front desk lady and director are rude, can’t dump a trailer of leaves with the littlest mulch mixed with. Pretty sure they’re just mad I was a young buck working with my nice equipment
Awesome place!! Found them totally by accident but what a great find! Free mulch to do all my gardening this summer. Everyone was very nice too. Thank you so much!
I have been there numerous times to drop off. Fast, friendly and courteous BUT the last 3 times i have been there they have not been accepting brush. This is fine but when i look online to make sure they are open there is no mention of it. With todays gas prices it would be nice to know if they are actually accepting brush. I know its free but …..
I am bringing my moving boxes in! Also the papers that wrap my fragile items to the site. Looks like I have a pretty neat set up for dropping off and receive it! It’s nice to know it’s so close
The team is always great. Blake is exceptionally nice, helpful, and professional. He always remembers the setup of where my recycle items are and how I like my buckets placed. I’m not an easy person to please, but Blake and the guys are always on their game to get me through the line and off to work!
