I asked for a flat bed and was told one was on they way. When the tow truck showed up it was not a flatbed. Desperate to get my car to the repair shop I went ahead against my better judgement I had the car towed. The main reason for my complaint is after they lowered my car at the repair shop. I heard a noise from the front when they were retracting the arm from the tow truck it sounded like a rubbing/scraping noise. I thought it hit the flaps under the bumper. It wasn't until I paid and they left did I notice they pulled back the passenger side of my splash shield. Now I've been quoted two places over 300 dollar repair now.
The price that is advertised$250.00 for an impound isn't correct, it's actually a $350.00 more, which is considered false advertising. I was charged a little over $20.00 just to use my card and to find out my fiance's belongings came up missing. Two watches a Citizens Smart Watch and a Dress watch with a little bling. I called the Guadalupe County Jail and was given a run down of the items he had in his possession at the time of his arrest and all was accounted for. I called JJ and was told that the inventory sheet said there was nothing in the car. I was then told to contact the police and give them our side and they will give their side. Please beaware!!!
AVOID this place.DO NOT do business with these people.Avoid them altogether as they are rude, unprofessional and simply do not care about anyone’s safety. They only care about their pockets ! I know someone that was in an accident due to their negligence! I have also witnessed continued negligence after that accident. They simply do not care about the safety of their community.
Seeing these Negative Reviews, is Unbelievable. I had them tow my Tahoe from Spring Branch, Tx to Converse Tx . With no problem at all . I didn't even get the Drivers name. But let me tell you he was extremely Friendly and Highly Professional. He did an outstanding Job.
So if ever in need of a Tow Truck. I Highly Recommend calling JJ's Towing. You be Glad you did.
If I could leave less than one star I absolutely would. This business owner is extremely rude and unprofessional and I will be following up with a report to the better business bureau. After my vehicle was towed and picked up, I noticed that there was significant undercarriage damage to the vehicle. I asked the owner for the name of his insurance company and he refused to provide the information requested, informing me that they are not accepting liability. I told him that’s fine, he could share that information with his insurance company, but I still needed to file a claim. He again told me he’s not giving it to me and hung up on me. There are dozens of tow companies to choose from. Do yourself a favor and make sure you do NOT choose this one!!!!
Charged me over $1300 for a tow that was only 5 miles away. It was out right ridiculous. I will never use them or recommend at all. They really need to make price changes for there 18 wheeler customers
I got a tow last week and was very pleased with the service I received. The driver was friendly, and kept me in the loop as our time frame changed due to a collision on i35. The car got where it needed to go without problem.
If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are bullies! Wouldn’t let us grab the stuff out of OUR car unless we paid them $250 which we didn’t have on us and we told them that and they’re response was “well what do you have, and we get the title”. They are going to rip you off and drain you of all your money just because they can. They’re compete aholes and don’t deserve ANY business. They need to practice human decency especially after you just got into a car accident. Go literally anywhere else.
Horrible experience!!! Don’t use them they will rob you of all your stuff. And strong arm you until you pay. Never again. Be prepared to pay anytime you have a question about your car.
I can't thank JJ's Towing service and driver Mike enough for coming to my rescue when I blew a tire going southbound on I35. Luckily, I was only 3 miles from JJ's. Mike got there quickly and towed my car to Costco.

Reading the reviews for this company, I was shocked to see people claiming their prices were high. I called numerous places for estimates before using their services and they had the best prices around! They were able to get to me on short notice, within twenty minutes. Jeremiah was super nice and helpful! I was so impressed with their quality of customer service and care! He even managed to drop off my car in a hard location, up a hill. Such a talented driver! I 100% recommend to any and everyone!
The tow truck driver was so kind and made sure I got home safely. I was a nervous wreck and he helped me navigate the whole process (if it were to be totaled, what I needed to do, etc..) I really can’t express my appreciation for him adequately. Thennn, retrieving all my belongings the following day was an absolute breeze. In the midst of a very stressful situation, JJ met me with such kindness and joy to tell me how glad he was I was okay. Thank you guys for bringing some goodness into these times!

They were unhelpful the EARLY Saturday evening I called to pick up my car.
It was obvious the person who answered, was at a gathering, and they didn't want to leave, to meet me to get my car out of their facility.
I was able to arrange to pick up my car the next day, and myself and another customer waited over an hour after we were told to show up.
I had to go to a local atm to extract cash for payment, and told them I'd be back in 10mins, and I was, only to find they had left again. I had to wait for them to get back again.
They did not have even $4, the change I was due after payment, which was already inflated $20 , from them not being willing to help the evening before.
This place was a nightmare.
So the county fair with limited parking is a place to tow vehicles to make a little extra money for the town? Seriously, have the event at a better location with ample parking and not just tow vehicles with no warning, no signs not to park in certain areas.
Towing service takes a very long time to get personnel in to operate the office after towing vehicles. This whole process is garbage and both the city of NB and this towing service should be ashamed by taking advantage of folks supporting their events!
Needed a Flatbed tow for a vehicle that was in a difficult spot… in a ditch, along a narrow & very busy roadway, just feet away from an active railroad crossing, and with a collapsed/folded right front suspension. Juan was just as able as he was confident and did an outstanding job both loading and unloading the vehicle. JJ’s was prompt and easy to work with. Will definitely use them again.
My son got in a car accident and Anthony Solis was very professional and helpful in giving me directions how to get to the area where the vehicle will be stored at. He also was telling my son it’s a ok it’s a car and what matters is that your ok and he was comforting him.
Price was double anywhere else, told me an hour to hour and half at 3 hours I called and no answer then 30 minutes later they answered and said they got tied up and it would be another hour and a half plus. Wish they would have just called and told me instead of me sitting on the side of the road waiting on them

I was charged 5 times the amount of money to have my veh towed a half of a block to a dealership. Never have I felt so taken advantage of or at the mercy of any co for their service. I wouldn’t call them again and feel sorry for any other people who use this co.
After calling other places and getting out rages quotes, I called this place. The driver was out within 30 minutes and the price was great! Thank y’all for a good start in getting my vehicle fixed.
This tow yard is very unprofessional
Called multiple times trying to get my truck released to the insurance after I had verbally told them “in person” they would be coming the next day to pick it up. 4 days later after myself my wife and insurance trying to call them we were finally able to get my truck.
I do not recommend this tow yard to anyone that doesn’t want to pay a high storage fee due to lack of response time
