Walking into Firestone in Brownsville this morning to get my brakes changed was great especially being greeted by Conrad’s warm smile and excellent customer service; from checking me in quickly, preparing coffee for, and chatting with customers throughout the lobby, Conrad knows how to take care of business ! You’re in good hands here and the whole team at Firestone are #1 !

If I could give a negative five stars I would first I brought my car in for a tire rotation which took 4 hours then the mechanic lost a bolt on the rim and didn’t say anything I found out when I was detailing the rims then I had them put in a water pump and when I brought it to them there was no leaks in the system not even the bad water pump so they they put in new water pump over pressurized the system when they were testing it and blew out the head gasket and blamed it on the radiator cap I looked at other people reviews that said there car came out of the shop worse than it went in and I agree seems to be a trend with these guy’s drumming up some business maybe?I wouldn’t let these guys work on my bicycle let alone my car

Had an appointment @5 and get called to come in early. I show up at 4 and they dont even look at the car until 5:15. What a waste of time. I just needed a break check. Im scared its just gonna be worse now that they touched it. Edit: went to another place the next morning, getting charged less than 1/5 THE PRICE. if you got cash to flush down the toilet go to firestone.

I have only used them for the lifetime alignment due to them being a little on the more expensive side. But it is nice on the alignment to get the printouts to show where you vehicle compares to the specs and to prove that some work was actually completed.

Fast and efficient service! Friendly and very professional.

Massive overcharges for parts, they treated me like a little old lady who knows nothing about cars and doesn't have an internet connection, definitely go somewhere else.

Excellent and fast service. Workers and respectable and hep knowledge you in what needs to be done to your vehicle. Would recommend.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! So there's a saying...in an effort to save a dollar you'll spend a fortune....that was me. I should've just come here first. I had an AC issue for my Range Rover and I spent an embarrassing amount before I gave in and came here. With the other mechanics I got my condenser switched out, new hoses, and some plugs, all costing WAY too much. I came here. They identified the evap core as the issue and fixed it in less than 2 days!!!! The condenser took 3-4 WEEKS with the other mech, and one of the other procedures took a week and the hoses half a day. Do yourself a favor and just get it done right the first time. My AC is running better than it's ever have! The staff was awesome...and free coffee LOL

All good. I little high cost for battery and given no credit for my core battery.

we went to get our tires replaced and let us know about our back brakes needing replacement. javier helped us out a lot with the services and making sure the service was quick.

Can't keep appointments they set, because they're too busy taking walk ins, which is great, but you don't blow off appointments. Why even set the appointment, just to tell someone to come back in one hour? Then they fail to follow through with promised call-backs. Pertinent info is not disseminated and communication is almost zero. I'm sure their shop guys do good work, but the business end is very poorly managed.

Been coming to this location for years now. They always have excellent customer service and knowledgeable employees.

Miscommunication,overpriced and service takes hours just for a simple check out ! I suggest to not ask or get help from Conrad I had a horrible experience with him !

I had a flat tire and went to Firestone to have my tire replaced and have my car inspected. Spoke to Javier in the front and he was amazing. Very informative, helpful, polite, courteous and he did an amazing job. He was very helpful. I will definitely go back to this Firestone because of him. Thank you for al your help much appreciated.

Last year I took my car because it was over heated, they changed some hoses because they were damaged never told me about the thermostat now I have the same problem. And they charge me 1,500 for labor only. Am so disappointed with their service 😞.

It's the only place I know that takes over 3 hours and $1000 for an oil change. I've been here twice but I won't be coming back. There are several other options that are much cheaper and quicker.

Been here for 2 hours to do rotation balancing and alignment and still sitting down waiting and they haven't put my truck inside they told me mine was next along time but they lied bad service would not recommend it at all you would have to wait all day sitting in the shop ..very upset they told me it was going to be around 3 hours but I guess I'll be here another 8 hours more 😡😡

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star if I could give zero, I would) I went in for a simple coolant flush and left with an oil leak — completely unacceptable. I waited over four hours, only to have my car returned in worse condition than when I brought it in. The service was not only slow but careless. Now I’m dealing with issues that weren’t there before. This experience felt like a complete scam. I will NEVER return, and I strongly advise others to stay away. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I purchased 2 tires from Danilo and he is amazing & was very patient & thorough with answering all the questions I had for him. Javier & whole staff was very nice and attentive as well. Thank you Firestone!

My experience was awful. I went for an alignment, which took three hours and cost 268.90 dollars. Ridiculous and ever since then, the ride is not a quiet one, like before. Do not know how to describe the noise but it sure as hell was not there before I went there. After they parked the car, it took about 30 minutes to charge/rob me. All for a simple alignment. NEVER going back.

Extremely disappointed with this place. We've been taking multiple family vehicles there for service but this last experience was the worst that we will never be returning or recommending it to anyone. We took our daughter's vehicle for an issue it was having, paid over $500 only to have car do same thing right after picking it up from shop. Took it back, called me a few hours later and told me they found the problem and it was going to cost an additional $300!!! I asked why problem wasn't initially found and why did I pay over $500 for? They gave me just a bunch of excuses but did offer to pay half of the additional $300 they wanted to charge me and assured me problem would be fixed. We'll we paid $150 and picked up car yesterday and today car doing same thing again, only worse this time and check engine light came on!!! I called and was told I could take it back, again, to be checked but after much consideration we decided they already had 2 opportunities and got paid close to $700 and obviously they don't know what they are doing. Don't take your vehicle there if you want to get it fixed. This has been such a negative experience and I'm writing this just to make people aware of how awful service is at this place. At the end of the day we're out $700 and car still not fixed. Also, they were trying to blame my husband saying he " asked for a tune up" and that's what they initially did, I told guy I was there with my husband and he did not, we specifically went to get issue fixed and agreed to what they recommended because we were made to believe that would fix issue. Just horrible overall. Waste of money and waste of time. Due to their obvious inability to figure out what is wrong with vehicle now I have to take it somewhere else and pay more $ to fix issue.

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years, but unfortunately, that ends today. My wife recently brought our car in for a routine alignment, and not only did they claim she needed a $600+ kit, but they also did a terrible job on the alignment itself—yet still charged her over $200. Frustrated, I took the vehicle to the dealership, where they charged $150 to fix everything, and guess what? No kit was needed. The car drives perfectly now. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I can no longer trust this business.

My Girlfriend took her car in because a message came up saying check the oil. Someone at Firestone checked it said it was empty gave her a print out saying it was empty and told her to add 6qts. I have been a mechanic for a very long time but unfortunately am stationed in California and she lives in Brownsville so I can take care of the cars all the time. Any mechanic with even the smallest thread of intelligence would know that if you don’t see oil on the dipstick doesn’t mean the oil is empty and you should add a little check level then add more if needed don’t go straight to 6 qts or max amount. Overfilling can actually cause hydraulic lock in the cylinders. I don’t know what person there said to add 6 qts but they should never touch another vehicle or tool ever again. Her vehicle is now way overfilled because she did exactly what the Firestone employee told her to do. 100% do not recommend this place.

Went in with alignment and road noise concerns. They were able to diagnose and offer recommendations to help eliminate or help decrease noise. First solution was an alignment as csster, camber and toe was off. But due to lowering springs on the vehicle, it required a pair of caster bolts. Unfortunately at $159 (cost & labor) was very high, as the bols alone cost $30 for the pair while they charge $99. After some discussions, I was able to leave the center a happy customer. They took care of me and my concerns. As for road noise, rear tire cupping was causing most (some from alignment too). Due to life of tire 9/32 and its cost for the size (325/30/19), I can live with some noise for a while and just replace the shock. Very satisfied with services rendered. Only reason I didnt provide 5 star is the fact that the price for the bolts was so high.
